After learning that her best friend, Kitty Pryde, has been kidnapped by the Hellfire Club, Illyana…read moreRasputin (Magik) of the New Mutants convinces her teammates to stage a clandestine rescue operation of Kitty and Doug Ramsey from the Massachusetts Academy. Amara Aquila (Magma) uses her geothermal abilities to tunnel into the lair where it appears Kitty has been bound to a chair, only for the New Mutants to discover to their horror that Illyana's friend is nothing more than a hologram and they have become entrapped by Emma Frost, the Hellfire Club's White Queen, a powerful telepath. After calling on Amara's earthquake powers to create a distraction, Illyana transports the team to Limbo, the demon realm over which she reigns and out of the reach of Frost. But what if, in an alternate story progression from Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema's New Mutants issues 15 and 16, the team then learns that they could set their own trap for Emma Frost? What if, during Danielle Moonstar's psychic interrogation of a few low-level employees, they discover that the White Queen is a sucker for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and that teleporting themselves to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Maryland, could provide all of the disruptions they need to negate the White Queen's most powerful weapon: her focused mind? Frost might find her lavish tastes torn into infinite directions, from the touchy-feely animal books that could lull young toddler mutant recruits to sleep to the Beatrix Potter-like dining sets that could enchant their distrusting yet nostalgic guardians; from the individually-crafted, kaleidoscopically-colored puppets that could entertain homesick adolescents to the visually-radiant and climatologically-resilient mums, whose scented whispers could soothe teenage lasses who seek something to take care of; and, suddenly, Amara's tunneling skills and Illyana's teleporting prowess might completely escape Frost's notice.

I ordered 2 Endless Summer Twist n shout Hydrangeas. It took longer than expected to arrive. When…read moreI opened the box the plants had some yellow wilted leaves, and looked a little weak. After searching on line and going to near by nurseries I was excited to go with Garden Goods. I will plant them and hope that they are going to do well. I love these hydrangeas and will update the review when they get a little settled

1 star -- buyer beware…read more I ordered a flat of 50 Vinca minor plugs. What arrived was nothing close to the example photo Garden Goods Direct later sent me showing what their "typical" flat looks like. The plugs were extremely small and weak -- typically literally one strand with only a few leaves -- and several fell apart in my hands during planting. After receiving a healthy flat from a different vendor for comparison, it was 100% clear the product I received was substandard. I requested store credit -- not a refund, not a replacement -- just credit toward a future purchase, since I had more plants to buy. Support asked for photos. I sent them, including direct comparisons to the healthy plugs from the other vendor and to their own example photo. Then they went silent. Four follow-up emails over the past week. No response. No acknowledgment. Nothing. The quality issue alone might have been forgivable as a bad batch. The complete refusal to respond once I provided the documentation they asked for is what makes this a hard pass. If you have any issue with your order, do not expect this company to stand behind their product. Taking my business elsewhere -- and there are plenty of better nurseries online.
