On my most recent visit last weekend my husband and I visited their beer garden. I have had this on my agenda for quite some time and finally found the perfect weekend to go. For some reason I always pictured in my head the beer garden being a big white tent with some picnic benches inside. Well I was clearly wrong. The beer garden was so much larger and nicer than I expected. They have a ton of outdoor seating, a stage for live music, a bar to get your beverages and multiple food trucks that sometimes rotate each weekend. There were shaded seats and seats that get plenty of sun and it is all dog friendly! My husband and I each had two beers and some snacks from the food trucks. We will definitely be back, we just wish this was closer to home for us!

I'm not really a fan of beer but the cider beer was ok... Always welcoming and friendly. They usually have a variety of trucks out here in addition to my favorite one... Today's options were Wood Fire Pizza and another Greek/Mediterranean Truck. So our group booked one of their plant bingo sessions. The owner, Stacey, is so pleasant. She goes to great effort to make it a fun and relaxing experience. There was delicious jasmine tea, refreshments, and a variety of plants to choose from for prizes. The lighted pavilion is a lovely outdoor space. We were there for two hours, and then we had a chance to check out the shop, which is full of beautiful gift items and teas. You can tell that the whole place is a labor of love.

I asked the person who was working that area a few question on which one would be the best to plant and she very vague and stand offish. It's felt like I was bothering her. If she didn't have any information on the questions I asked she could have pointed me to the right person. A month later I had tried to return the one tree I had bought and thought that I would be able to exchange or at least get store credit. I followed all the steps that is on the website about returning a product. The person at the Customer service return counter made me feel it was my fault that the tree was not doing well after I planted it. She said and I quote "We can not help every person who comes in here". Isn't that part of running a good business? The day I was there was not a busy day.

It was barely used and was in excellent condition, but for some odd reason the cushion was sinking. I figured, if I got it reupholstered to the color of my choice and had the cushion replaced, it would be good as new. I took to my handy dandy Yelp app and did a search and Mill End popped up. I'm familiar with the shop, since a family member worked there years ago, but I had no clue they did this type of work. I gave them a call and was told to bring in a picture to evaluate the chair because they didn't want me to be without my chair for a long time. Well, I thought bringing in the chair itself would be easier, since I wasn't in a hurry for it. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable staff member who gushed about how beautiful the chair was. She did an evaluation of what would be needed to repair and reupholster it and then showed me the fabrics that were available in the color I selected. They have a large variety of fabrics on-sight in the store, but they do have options that can be ordered. The one I selected was on-sight. We agreed upon the estimated price, I filled out some paperwork and I was out the door. It was literally that quick and simple. Since they have a pretty extensive client list waiting for their projects before me, my estimated date for the chair to be completed was about 2 months or so. To my surprise, I was called about a month later informing me that my chair was ready. I arrived and was extremely pleased with my brand new chair. The workmanship was beautifully done and the cushion they replaced was perfectly placed. They did such a phenomenal job, my parents wanted their chair back. Lol! Not on my watch! Yes, Mill End is a bit pricey, but so worth it! They're truly professionals. I'm planning to get my dinning room chairs reupholstered in the near future, so I made sure to get an estimate while I was there. I'll absolutely be back in the near future.
