This is what I was expecting! A 1/2 cord of firewood. But NOT what I got!
    El Jai B.

I ordered a half cord of firewood to be delivered last Monday and what I got was less than an eighth of a cord and pure junk and other debris. The customer service was highly unprofessional and shabby at best! The manager Lynn, yelled at me continuously, instead of speaking in a professional tone. She tried to excuse this failure to deliver as promised and fraud by telling me the best she can do is offer me a $25 in-store credit; for their failure to deliver on what they promised - I don't think so. This Highly Egregious and Unacceptable practice of lying to New customers to get their money and not delivering on what they promised - will not be tolerated. Further she went on to say that the owner of the store being "over 70 years old, at times have forgetfulness and don't know what he's doing (in terms of loading the truck)" which is unprofessional and highly unacceptable. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ with this business! Poor quality of products, services and horrible customer services and lacking professionalism

My kids play in the sand box while I shop for plants, BRILLIANT!!
    Sara C.

I am not a person who writes reviews very often but when I had excellent, above and beyond service from Arnold Farms I knew I needed to support them. Especially because all of the other review are old and not serious. Did someone really complain about dirt in their fire wood? Come on people, really?? Another person claimed noone helped them when they walked in, that's ridiculous. I've been here at least 10 to 12 times and someone has ALWAYS greeted me with a friendly hello and asked why I was there and what they could help me with. That lady probably walked in a back entry where the employees couldn't see her. I'm just sad to see that these old untrue reviews may deter people from trying out this family owned and operated buisness. The owner puts so much thought into busy Moms as myself, who have at least two children in tow at all times. It's hard to plant shop with young children. And that's why I love going here because there is an awesome boat sand box filled with toys for my kids to safely play in while I make some decisions and shop for my clients. They also hand out free balloons to kids and have 2 working mechanical cars to ride in that don't require coins, they are FREE! At least they were all summer, hopefully that doesn't change. I just love little details like that. There is also a wall of small toys that your child can pick for FREE with a $30 or $40 purchase, cant remember how much you have to spend. What a great idea. Where have you ever been that caters to your kids like that. Moms you are missing out by driving by this place, your kids will love it and you will love it. The plants and flowers are always being watered and taken care of, they have a great selection on large and small tress, shrubs, perennials and annuals. They also have Christmas tress and they decorate beautifully for Christmas. There are many handmade and unique ornaments and other gifts you wouldn't think a landscaping buisness would have. They even have SANTA there in December! I've brought my son for the past 3 years, he loves it. I believe they may have gotten rid of the people mentioned in these other reviews because I have never seen or heard of those people and I am sort of a regular here. Please give Arnold Farms a chance and don't listen to these old and untrue reviews. We should be supporting local businesses anyways. Their prices are WAY better than Homestead Gardens down the street.

Broke trailer done by an employee.

Damage to our trailer caused by an employee at Arnold Farms. We were still charged for the stone and they fixed the trailer but we were treated horribly in the process. They acted like it was our fault that the trailer was broken even though their employee did it. We received a 10 second phone call to let us know that the trailer was ready for pickup and were hung up on. Upon arrival to pick it up, we were snubbed and when we asked for a little more of the stone, they actually tried to charge us more. We have been loyal customers to Arnold Farms for 3 years, we get our plants, stone, and mulch from there every year. Needless to say they will not receive our business again.

The fish pond, the two big ones seemed like you could pet them.

So, temper my review with this in mind. ;) That being said, I have zero complaints about this location. Other than... it simply doesn't have the same footprint they have out in D-ville. It feels cramped inside, and there isn't a lot of room for a cart or moving around too much. Still, they have a ton of gardening and decorating products, especially around Christmastime! We were actually here to see Santa, since we couldn't book him at the other location. But, I'm glad we checked it out. They have a Rise Up coffee shop attached too, which was convenient. Made for a nice little treat after shopping. I really don't have a lot else to say. It's still hit-or-miss as far as value is concerned. Some items seem vastly overpriced, and others are more reasonable. You'll pay more for seasonal items, of course, but check back after said season is over (or close to its end), and you can find some very good bargains. The customer service is on par as well. Very friendly staff who are helpful and approachable. Never had an issue with service at Homestead! Overall, great garden shop in Severna Park, and were it closer, I'd be a regular here instead. I love their holiday train setup in the back as well! (Though, again, Davidsonville has a LOT more space for a MUCH bigger display... but it's the effort that matters, and both deserve the highest marks!)

The plants had expired & we gambled and attempted to return them 10 days past the warranty. The young lady took the plants back and assisted us and advised us in terms of our options moving forward. If there is a knock against Heaven's Garden their plants will be a little smaller than you'd fine in a "Non" Organic Nursery. Last year when they were less busy, Jo walked us around and gave us useful tips on how to plant our brush. The young lady this time explained that even when you do everything right factors like wind, soil acidity, mulching, and fertilizer deficiency can play a part in failure.

When I arrived I was met at my truck by this very friendly woman, who said, "you must be the Peonie lady!" lol! As she was walking me to the "Peonies" I was looking around..very well kept grounds, and all areas of interest were clearly marked with signs telling you what type of plants could be found there. They even had areas marked, "Sun Loving", "Shade Loving" ect.. I was particularly impressed with the ornamental trees...all trees, and plants were extremely healthy and robust. I was told they grow all their wares on the farm just next door, and that it was a family operation. I was really happy with the knowledge, and the attention to customer satisfaction given to me. Loved my experience, and hope everyone gives this hidden gem a try! Kudos to Heaven's Garden!

Amara Aquila (Magma) uses her geothermal abilities to tunnel into the lair where it appears Kitty has been bound to a chair, only for the New Mutants to discover to their horror that Illyana's friend is nothing more than a hologram and they have become entrapped by Emma Frost, the Hellfire Club's White Queen, a powerful telepath. After calling on Amara's earthquake powers to create a distraction, Illyana transports the team to Limbo, the demon realm over which she reigns and out of the reach of Frost. But what if, in an alternate story progression from Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema's New Mutants issues 15 and 16, the team then learns that they could set their own trap for Emma Frost? What if, during Danielle Moonstar's psychic interrogation of a few low-level employees, they discover that the White Queen is a sucker for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and that teleporting themselves to Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Maryland, could provide all of the disruptions they need to negate the White Queen's most powerful weapon: her focused mind? Frost might find her lavish tastes torn into infinite directions, from the touchy-feely animal books that could lull young toddler mutant recruits to sleep to the Beatrix Potter-like dining sets that could enchant their distrusting yet nostalgic guardians; from the individually-crafted, kaleidoscopically-colored puppets that could entertain homesick adolescents to the visually-radiant and climatologically-resilient mums, whose scented whispers could soothe teenage lasses who seek something to take care of; and, suddenly, Amara's tunneling skills and Illyana's teleporting prowess might completely escape Frost's notice.
