I personally have used this vet for years however, never had a run in with Doctor Randall. Our…read morenormal Vet is Doctor Gibbs. However, this last visit will be my last and I will be sure to let anyone who ask not to go to this vet and definitely if Randall is the only one to be able to see your pet. My husband called prior to taking out sweet cat in who we thought may have a UTI. Dr. Gibbs was available to see our pet however we were quoted about $125-$150 as I checked because I live on a budget being on disability. When Doctor Gibbs was done it was $244.00 which was much more than I could really afford. But the real deal breaker is my animal was given medication that made him sicker than before he threw up and pooped everywhere including on me while in my lap. I called to see about an afterhours helpline, and they do not have anyone after hours except a hospital not even affiliated with them, and they want 2 times as much. So the next morning I get on the phone to speak with doctor Dr. Gibbs I am not told he is out I am told by the office manager she is going to speak to Dr. Randall the main doctor and call me back. She calls back and says well Doctor Randall says that is sometime common with some animal that the particular medication isn't easily tolerated. She suggests we bring our baby back which I explain is undoable as we can't afford it. And we already paid for him to get sicker than he was. She talks to Randall again and she calls me back and ask me if we can pick up some new medication for our baby which I again reiterated that we could not afford yet her response was you can come get it we will take care of your baby and get him better just pick it up we understand you can't pay for it. My husband gets there, and they attempt to charge him. He tells them no he can't pay for it and we were told we would not have too. However, Doctor Randall demanded payment stating he can't just give the medication to our cat its not free then he says what you were shocked by the bills he then asked if anyone explained the bill which was not explained. In hindsight I will say I believe Dr. Gibbs truthfully thought he was helping make our pet better but made him worst by accident. However, Doctor Randall is all about the mighty dollar and doesn't care about your animal and could care less if your animal lives or dies.

When I took my dog in for her grooming appointment, I told the groomers at Pet Crazy that she had…read morejust recently been boarded and had some mats in her beard and that it would be ok if they had to cut her beard a little shorter than normal. I received a call that my dog was ready to be picked up and was also told that she was very anxious and was being difficult during the grooming so they didn't get to do a good job on her back legs. I said that would be ok. The hair on her legs wasn't too long to begin with and could go for a little longer before being trimmed up again. Brooke Mitchell opened the dog up then stated she had already been spayed, probably early in life, however on the flip side during her initial check up she said she had probably had many litters. Dog was fine upon admittance, when she was picked up next day late afternoon had been having chronic diarrhea at the vet and ended up in the ER the next day with a several hundred charge. Another dog was misdiagnosed with conjunctivitis when she had eye tumors, I pushed saying it was a mass and in fact I was right not the vet. The front desk likes to overcharge as well so watch your bill. If a vet can't accept that she can make a mistake and their staff definitely makes mistakes and doesn't due her due diligence in an exam then that's an issue!!!!!!! If you want to pay someone and not ever utter your opinion then this is the clinic for you! This vet emailed me to tell me to seek care elsewhere because I was disrespectful, well I had already made that decision prior to receiving her email, funny how your staff is disrespectful and you have no issue with that, yet you can't accept a client speaking their mind and the vet tuck tails and can't even have enough backbone to pick up a telephone and call the former client. Mind you during all this I was extremely sick and ended up in the hospital myself and all this vet is worried about is her pride. Get over it Brooke, you aren't perfect and YOU DO make mistakes and we have proof and your staff sure as heck makes mistakes, your own employee at Forest Hill that worked at Byram on that Thursday brought to my husbands attention the overcharges (not first time mind you) so might want to learn to apologize from time to time. I left them with my one and a half year-old dog for seven days during which I was out of the…read morecountry. I scheduled them to come three times a day. They only came when it was convenient for them for 15 minutes at a time and were not willing to take my dog's schedule into account. We were having issues with getting them into the building due to my spotty cell service and they were unwilling to work with me on setting regular times when I knew I would have service and be able to let them into the building. Because they couldn't get in, they would leave my dog until noon and go to another appointment and come back. They did not follow instructions which led to my dog, eating toys, bathroom products, plastic, and other objects around the house. It's a miracle that I haven't had to take him to the vet. Overall, they were nice people just not very good at their job. I would recommend finding somewhere else.

Keep your animals away!…read moreFirst off I just had surgery and needed my dog cut short and bathed because I won't be able to for a few weeks. I even told her this and tipped her before hand. She returned him 5 hours later with only his back shaved. Then a couple days later he started shaking his head hard and we took him to the vet and he had gotten two types of bacteria ear infection in his ears and he has never had ear infections before. (Cost me 300 dollars) I'm guessing she never dried his ears out. I texted her telling her this and how i was upset and she never even replied. Then because of the ear infections and not being able to brush there, and that it was long from her not cutting him, his ears got super knotted. I took him to his normal groomer and he was not acting his normal self and was acting traumatized the groomers had to even call me to tell me that he was trying to bite,crying,and was scared. He has been going to that groomer for half a year and never had issues. Then his groomer had to completely shave all the fur off his ears. This lady Lisa at groom room traumatized my dog. My groomer even said to me they have had many clients complain about this place. Which btw groom room doesn't exist because apparently her shop got closed for being unhygienic she does it at her house now. I had no idea til i talked to some people. Not to mention she just got my review deleted off of google. I don't normally leave reviews for businesses but no one should be taking their dogs to this lady.
