We hired Diane to cater our wedding and our rehearsal dinner at a winery in the Sierra Foothills. We met with her after going over our wants and desires and she prepared a meal for us complete with appetizers and options for a main course and sides. The food was fantastic. She catered a sit-down meal in a wine cave for our rehearsal dinner with 24 people. Despite the fact that our venue had very limited facilities for caterers (no prep kitchen or kitchen area) the food was absolutely fantastic! The tables were beautifully set, the appetizers were incredible, and the main course was delicious. Her staff was professional and very very attentive. Our guests loved every minute of our rehearsal dinner and didn't want it to end. Either did we. The next day Diane catered our wedding at the same venue for 160 people. In a nutshell, the food was fantastic, as was the service. We had a little miss communication which resulted in us not having champagne at the venue. In spite of our remote location, Diane was able to have champagne delivered to us before we even had our first toast!!! To say the least, we were all very impressed with her ability to get things done. We all know that caterers can make or break a wedding reception. Diane catered my celebratory dinner party. The food was absolutely, amazingly delicious! All my guests were impressed and repeatedly inquired how I found her! Many guests went up for seconds and some even had a third helping! The food presentation was artistic, beautiful and demonstrated one of Diane's many talents. Diane also designed a menu with specific dietary restrictions of my parents in mind. My parents were greatly appreciate of Diane's sincere interest to ensure that they would enjoy a wonderful meal. I was incredible appreciative that Diane took such good care of my parents. Diane not only prepared an incredible feast, she cares about her customers as well. I had received some beautiful flowers from my guests. However, I did not have time to place them in vase as I was attending to other guests. Diane took it upon her self to wash some vases that had an embarrassing collection of dust. Then she carefully arranged the flowers and displayed them on the tables. Diane's team catered my wedding of 60 guests in June 2014. When I was looking for caterers, I kept getting nickel-and-dimed by all of them on the quotes I was given. Diane was different; she invited us to a tasting at her home, and we didn't talk costs until the very end after we had finished discussing our vision for the wedding and food. She was super affordable and beat out the prices from all the other caterers I got quotes from - great for a pair of graduate students! She does not have a set menu (though provides suggestions) so you are free to create a menu that suites you. Our ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS menu included almond-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates, caprese skewers, tri-tip, peach glazed chicken, stuffed portabello mushrooms, roasted potatoes, beet and walnut salad, spinach salad, and polenta. I'm still hearing compliments and rave reviews from everyone who attended. It's difficult for any caterer to serve 480 people and serve great food in a timely manner. You and your crew ROCKED! The Tri tip was so flavorful, people raved about the horseradish sauce! The chicken and pasta were amazing, I even had comments about how great the green beans were. I think my favorite dish was the potatoes au gratin, the best I have ever had! I've had many, many people tell me that the food was the best food they have ever had at any National. Please be sure to thank Aja and the rest of your crew for all that they did to help make our event so special. Aja was so helpful and responsive to our changing needs, it was greatly appreciated. In search of a caterer for my wedding, I found Diane here on Yelp. We got in contact with her and she had my fiancé my parents and myself over to her house for dinner. She made appetizers, and a full meal for us all. Everything was absolutely amazing. We left and all decided on the drive home that we were going to go with her for our wedding. From the day we signed contracts to the day of the wedding she was hands on and gave amazing advice for how things should go. Fast forward- the food at our wedding. We chose to go with the chicken and filet for our meats. Worth every penny. You could cut your filet with a fork. Perfectly prepared, the flavor was unreal and I was constantly hearing people ask if they could go back for more. She had a plate of appetizers for my husband and I at our table when we returned from pictures, and following the appetizers we received a full plate of food. Unbelievable. I'm so happy we went with her and so thankful for everything she did to make our day perfect. She worked her booty off and it definitely showed.
