Of course I was drawn in by the 5 star review, and the comments that indicated how much experience she had. I called immediately- it was a Saturday night. She stayed on the phone with me and patiently explained the process, asked questions and calmed my fears. I made an appointment immediately. What I have learned in the past three months is that not only is Julie Ann remarkably good at what she does-- it is a painstaking process and she is patient and diligent-- but she is also quite charming and a really lovely person. She has a million great stories she'll tell you while she works on you, and she will remember every detail you tell her- from your boyfriend's astrological sign to your mother's birthday. She's kind and compassionate and a real gem. Her workspace, while small, is filled with diplomas and certifications to ease your mind. She's been at this a long time, and she has stayed educated in her field. She offers the latest treatments, including laser. She's remarkably knowledgable about it all. For example, before finding Julie Ann I almost went to an expensive spa for laser treatment. What I learned through our extensive talks is that laser can actually make facial hair worse on women. It's great for arms and legs, though. Her prices are beyond fair- I've been quoted a lot more and she will not stiff you for time, though she's always got a customer after you because she is well known and so good. She does a lot and she will work on you as long as it takes. I always feel like I should be giving her MORE money- and trust me, I am broke and don't think that often. After my lip filler procedure, I was unhappy with the outcome and ultimately required dissolving treatment. I contacted LaserAway multiple times in an attempt to reach a fair resolution. I worked directly with a director named Bryan Dickerson who offered half of the value of the syringe as store credit. However, despite my follow-up emails accepting the offer and requesting confirmation of the terms, I never received the promised follow-up or final resolution. I also disputed the charge with my bank, but the dispute was denied, leaving me to absorb the full cost of an experience that I believe was not handled appropriately. The photos I am sharing are of my own results following treatment. They reflect my personal experience at this location. If you are considering lip fillers here, I encourage you to carefully review my photos and make your own informed decision before choosing Gen as your injector. I even went to your Stamford, Connecticut location, where the injector asked me, "Who did your lips?" When I told her they were done at your Englewood, New Jersey location, her reaction was, "Whoa." What makes this even more frustrating is that after my first procedure, I was told to get more filler because it would correct the lumping. When that didn't work, I was later told that my lips simply "didn't accept the filler." Poor communication and delays: It took me over 5 months to schedule a filler appointment last year because the manager, Mai, did not respond to my repeated emails (attached). I only got a response once I called the office, and even then, it felt like I was chasing them just to give them my business. 2. Inconsistent and misleading pricing: I was originally quoted $575 for under-eye filler in writing (attached) but was later charged $700 for the same service. This inconsistency in pricing is unacceptable, especially when it is clearly documented in their own emails. 3. Clinic-to-clinic confusion - I was quoted $1,500 for 2 syringes of PDGF in Park Ridge ($3,000 for 4), but later told by Millburn staff that their baseline price was actually $1,800 for 2 syringes. Most importantly, when I specifically asked Park Ridge if the 20% off promo at Millburn would apply to the same service and was told yes, no one told me that Millburn's pricing was higher. That critical detail should have been mentioned upfront so I could make an informed decision. Overall, between the lack of responsiveness, the long wait just to schedule, and the bait-and-switch style pricing, I cannot recommend SkinSpirit. Patients deserve transparency, consistency, and respect for their time, none of which I experienced here.

That might have been worth mentioning Ms. Receptionist. The space looks small from the outside but inside is very spacious but dated; the Manicure Room is cute, but could use some updates as well. The nail color selection is limited and flat (none of the new stuff). The manicurist were great - took their time and polished well. Upon check out I presented both cards, one for my mom to use and one for myself. The reception said they didn't take Spa Week, I told her when I called the receptionist said they did. Whatevs, but I know what I was told. On my second visit (2 weeks later), I booked a mani and pedi, but the manicurist I booked with was no longer employed there, so I was very surprised because I wasn't notified. The new girl was good too, so I was satisfied, but normally a call with the option to keep or cancel appointment is my practice. The business sends frequent email blasts that let you know about specials and pricing, which the prices have spiked, as of April. A regular manicure will now cost $30, color gel mani $55, basic pedi $55. These new prices will determine the frequency of my visits.
