So delicious I love when I get some because she runs out of the corn ones so fast. All lovely people and I don't wait too long.

THE TAMALES ARE FIRE Disclaimer: This spot is Popping with customers! We went on a weekend when they first opened so there might have been more people but there is a long line so you might want to call ahead, that's what i did. Make sure you call to the right location because there are 2 locations in San Jose. The one we went to on Mckee road, the parking lot is very small & there is another business there so you might have some trouble. But the tamales are so worth it! I got one of each, one 1 pork & 1 chicken. If you want them prepared, make sure to let them know. It comes with sour cream, green salsa & red salsa. The red salsa is a little spicy so be careful! I definitely want to go back to try the other flavors. We also got a champurrado & it was sooo tasty. The lady at the ordering window was extremely comforting so don't you worry about anybody making you comfortable. Please check it out now that the holidays are coming up & you may want some tamales that taste like home !

Antes me gustaban mucho sus tamales pero ahora ya los tamales son pura masa y los de pollo en salsa verde ya ni tienen salsa estan secos

I GOTTA HAND IT TO THEM, one of the fastest services and it's aunthetic.

They have earned a new coustmer, hands down the best authentic tamales I have ever had and they are cheap $4 each. The service is very quick , and the ambiance is decent.

Customer service was great when ordering but my order contained a long hair. I had to stop after finding it.

To price $ 5 dollars for each corn tamale and they are little and don't taste that good

Went to get tamales at 11:40am but the lady was very rude!! Says they close at 12:00pm but seems like they close whenever they want. Lady was very unfriendly and waved us away. No sense of care or compassion for customers. Place was dirty and I will not be returning due to unfriendly staff. Both lady's in the picture were rude not even acknowledging us with a 'Sorry we're closed' just a hand gesture as if we were animals being shooed away. Very disappointed in my fellow Latinos here at Diana's Tamales.

If you're looking for a catering food truck for a small lunch window that delivers high quality and very quick service, I HIGHLY recommend Fire and Rice. Their Hawaiian Asian fusion menu is unique and stands out compared to other Asian or poke trucks I've tried. The garlic shoyu chicken and tuna poke were my personal favorites. I tried some of my coworkers garlic shrimp & Miso tofu too...surprisingly pretty GOOD! With inflation being what it is, their food is absolutely worth the price, and they were also flexible and willing to work within our reasonable budget. I can't recommend them enough. For catering inquiries, It was a little difficult getting them on the phone so we played phone tag a lot. I suggest texting or emailing Micah or Jessica for the quickest response, as they're often busy on the truck or during service.

Thankfully this turned out to be a solid choice for pizza and they do the concept justice. It's not as saucy of a pizza, but they do well with a crispy crust and the flavorful toppings. Their signs hadn't been updated for pricing, but it was 8" for $13 and 12" for $19. Our number got called up pretty quick so we didn't have to wait very long for the pizza to be done (5 minutes tops). Some pepper/cheese packets available for additional toppings. The whole thing was given to us in a pizza box which made for pretty easy transport at the market. It's actually nice they they're not as sauce heavy as other pizza spots (I can't actually partake in tomato anymore, so the fact they had options for me was neat too). We settled on the Chorizo for a more cheese-heavy and tomato free experience. Toppings were very fresh and the bottom/crust had a nice airy crispiness that made it worth eating to the last bite. Had a medium amount of heat to it with the jalapenos, but not too much without them. Remarkably flavorful and really well done (the little chorizo bites were quite popping, but so were the cheese bits). Definitely grab something from them if you're on the hunt for good pizza on the go.

I was pretty excited by the reviews and the Mexican fusion concept, but to be honest found the pizza a little bland. Enter Birria Rojas. Tacos: Good taste and Okay filling amount. Honestly the meat was flavorful and the amount of stuff they put IN the taco was acceptable given the price, however we did wish the tacos were put on the griddle a little longer to crisp them up a little more. I'd say they weren't perfect, but they definitely were worth the $ and tasty. Consume: Wish they gave you some when you order x amount of tacos like other places, but hey, it's understandable. The consume was pretty heavy handed in (I think) cinnamon and cloves (?). Not that it wasn't good, but it just wasn't what I wanted. It complimented the tacos very well so overall it was good but not great. Horchata: Delicious! smooth, cinnamon-y and just overall good. They executed this extremely well. Torta: OMG this thing was BIG. It looked amazing on the pictures on the truck and it looked amazing when we got it, but it looked better than it actually was. I'd say overall, the looks was a 5/5. The taste was a solid 4/5. Still very tasty, but didn't think it fully hit the mark. Service: The only two people in the truck were SUPER nice and very accommodating however there were a couple of issues on their end. 1) My total was $29. I gave the cashier $40. I was handed $9 back. After saying that I was shorted change, awkwardness ensued. It was an honest mistake and they gave me the right amount back so I just shrugged it off. 2) When I picked up my food, I ordered 1 Taco, 1 Torta, and 1 Combo (3x tacos, 1 Consume, and 1 Horchata). The person who gave me the food didn't give me the Horchata or Consume. Again they were VERY accommodating but I think they need to work out the kinks of their ordering. Overall, a good birria taco truck but with some logistical issues. We'd maybe go back but with so many options, we'd like to try others before coming back here.

The signage is subtle and easy to miss, but once you find it, it's well worth the effort. I first visited during their grand opening and have returned several times since. Without fail, the experience has been excellent. The staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Even during peak hours when the place is packed, I've never waited long to be seated, and the food always comes out quickly. I've worked my way through their menu: doner wraps, kebab plates, and a variety of sides; and every single dish has been a hit. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The consistency here is impressive, which is something I value highly in any restaurant. I already loved Mediterranean food, but BAHO's Turkish offerings really surprised me. Fresh vegetables, bold and flavorful sauces, and perfectly seasoned, savory meats come together in a way that feels both comforting and exciting. Keep in mind that the doner wrap is served in a bag because it can get messy, but if you remember those old Carl's Jr. commercials: "If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face". If you're lucky enough to be helped by Boris, you're in great hands. He's incredibly kind, hardworking, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. On my first visit with my cousin, I told him we had no idea what to order, and he set us up with chicken doner wraps and a selection of appetizers. An excellent introduction to the menu that hooked us. Since then, I've brought my wife, friends, and family here, and every single person has walked away impressed. BAHO Mediterranean Cafe has easily become one of my go-to spots, and I can't recommend it enough. Quick update: It turns out that I posted my review too late, as they've been shut down by the city. We ordered an Achari chaap ( soya protein) and a Rumali roti for my husband. For myself I got their tandoori chicken which came with 2 drumsticks and two thighs. The chicken itself was juicy and definitely well marinated. The achari chaap was a bit tangy for my husband's liking but had great taste and flavor if you ask me. The Rumali roti was soft and fresh. I especially like how they added on the cheese after the patty was marinated on the grill for quite a while, but not too long to the point all of the juice was sucked up. The only down side to the food: the prices. Be prepared to spend quite a bit on lunch if you decide to go to this place, because they do end up charging quite a bit more than what the regular places around Downtown would.
