Tres 3 leches cake with coffee mocha flavor with nut filling
    Alexis A.

Came across this bakery by accident but I'm glad that I paid them a visit. Bought a birthday cake for my mom's birthday last month and my family loved it! Ordered a tres leche coffee nut cake, very delicious! The lady I spoke to was very friendly and gave me samples to try out my options. The place can be easily be missed but I highly recommend giving this bakery a shot. They also have options for lunch time. Keep in mind, when ordering a cake, it must be ahead of time. I can see myself coming here again.

    Tres Leches with Strawberry Filling

I needed a last minute cake for a birthday celebration. The reviews mentioned the tres leches cake was good. I then called the bakery, and they were able to take in my cake order a day before my due date. We got a tres leches cake with strawberry filling and it came out so cute. The cake itself was really delicious everyone was asking where we got we got it from. It tasted homemade, not overly sweet or soggy.

Discovered this place during quarantine. I just moved in and was ordered to work from home but still hadn't unpacked my coffee essentials. I needed coffee stat. My go-to coffee shop that I would hit up before going into work once in a while doesn't have a location for 10 or 15 miles from here sadly, but this bakery hushed me and said everything was going to be just fine! The café de olla is out of this world. No creamer needed, but I don't do black - either way you have it will be amazing! They didn't strain well my first time but on every other visit it has been perfect on temp, texture and taste. Can't attest to their cake, but their pan dulce is thee best in Phoenix. (Yes, even better than Phoenix New Times' pick!) My days of peeling the dulce off the conchas and tossing out the pan are over! Moist and tasty all the way through. I've introduced it to my whole family and they've driven miles for them already. Cookies, croissants, niños envueltos are absolutely impressive too. So very proud to have this bakery in my neighborhood! P.s. they close at 7, not 830 as noted by their web pages.

a piece of cake on a plate

We had a bad experience this weekend at this place. We order a cake that was supposed to be a tres leches cake. This was not even close, bread was dry and the flavor wasn't there. Very disappointing for the price I paid.$85 I should of bought one from Sam's club for $30 for this kind of cake. We will not come back.

Went into this place on a limb and I'm so glad I did! Ordered a beautiful unicorn cake. Pina colada filling. Everyone at the party loved it. Full of flavor. For the price I paid and quality I will definitely be back! This is now my go to cake place for my functions! Thank you for making a piece of my party great!

Look how slanted the rows are and looks like they didn't bother finishing the bottom row

I also ordered a dozen vanilla cupcakes with eyes on them. Ryan, who was incredibly good to work with ,took the ball and ran with it. It had all been fully chilled so I didn't have to worry about it 'melting' before I got to the party, All the guests were very complimentary about the look and taste of both the cake and the cupcakes. I didn't think about taking pictures until after the party ( oh no!) but Ryan had pictures and graciously shared them with me. I absolutely will order from him in the near future. I encourage you to also!

He nailed the design. And everyone at the party took pics of the cake since it was so stinkin cute!! My grandma loved it too! Even the Uber driver was super impressed-she took a biz card off the box so she could order one soon. And the cake itself was amazing, everyone loved it!!! Great flavor and very moist! By bf (who is not a cake guy at all) said it was his FAV cake he's ever had!! So I would absolutely encourage you to get a cake from Stiggy-he was easy to work with (and I changed my mind on flavors, design and pick up times a couple times) and the cake was still ready when I needed it to be!!

I finally made the trip to Sady's Cakes in Glendale, Arizona, conveniently located right off Grand…read moreAvenue and Camelback, to try their viral fruit-shaped mousse cakes. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how amazing it smelled. The gentleman working there was incredibly nice and helpful, and there's a small area to place your order and a bench to sit while you wait. As I waited, I noticed the board listing all of their cake fillings. One combination that really stood out to me was peaches and pineapple together. You can order them separately, but together just sounded delicious. Honestly, I almost ordered a whole cake right then and there, but I held back! I ordered five of the fruit-shaped mousse cakes: pineapple, raspberry, banana, coconut, and mango. First up was the pineapple. When I cut it in half, I found cake and a pineapple compote filling inside. First of all, look at this thing. It is absolutely beautiful. But the flavor? Wow. The pineapple flavor was out of this world. The combination of the cake with that pineapple compote was incredible. Easy 10 out of 10. Next was the raspberry. I love raspberry everything, but I don't love fake raspberry flavor. I love actual raspberries. When I cut this one open, I didn't see any cake. Instead, it appeared to be layers of raspberry mousse and raspberry jelly. Sady's absolutely nailed the flavor. Rich, fresh, and tasting like real raspberries instead of candy. Another perfect 10 out of 10. Third was the banana, which seems to be everyone's favorite on TikTok. When I sliced it lengthwise, I only saw cream inside--no fruit pieces and no cake that I could tell. Flavor-wise, it reminded me of banana extract, and artificial banana is one of the few flavors I personally don't care for. That's just my preference though, because my family loved the banana cream filling. Because the presentation is adorable and everyone else really enjoyed it, I'm still giving it an 8 out of 10. The coconut one was shaped like a little coconut drink with a straw, and it might be one of the cutest desserts I've ever seen. The first bite was pure coconut heaven. The coconut cream was so rich and delicious, and I could immediately taste real shredded coconut. When I cut it open, I could see there was cake inside, although I honestly couldn't tell if it was vanilla cake or coconut cake because the coconut cream flavor completely stole the show. Whatever it was, this one was another easy 10 out of 10. Last was the mango, and honestly, I bought this one mainly because of how realistic it looked. The others are fun and cartoonish, but this one genuinely looks like a real mango. You can tell they put a lot of work into it. When I cut it open, there was mango mousse with actual chunks of fresh mango inside. And wow. I am not even a huge mango person, but this thing absolutely blew my socks off. Another 10 out of 10. The whole experience reminded me of Willy Wonka and the lickable wallpaper scene. The strawberry tastes like strawberry, the snozzberries taste like snozzberries. Sady's Cakes really captures the flavors they're trying to create. One thing I really appreciated was that they have examples on display and then bring your desserts from the back. What impressed me was that the ones they brought out looked exactly like the display pieces. That's important if you're buying these for a birthday, dinner party, or special event. Also, I wasn't sure how they would hold up in Arizona heat. They spent about twenty minutes in my car before I got home, and they were still nicely chilled. I can see why so many people film these in their cars--they're probably worried they won't make it home before digging in! Between the incredible presentation and the amazing flavors, Sady's Cakes completely impressed me. I already know where we'll be ordering our next birthday cake. Overall, 10 out of 10. I honestly can't wait to go back.

Omg. Like I host those for my minis but I would love to go to one where I don't have to do set up and prep. Yasss. Anyway, people are super nice there. Good vibes. I'll have to stop off at the actual shop sometime. The goods: They looked tasty so obvi I ordered a bunch. Giant macarons, peanut butter sandwich, oatmeal cream pie and chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie has a sprinkle of sea salt on top, exactly how I like mine. It was FULL of chocolate chips. It's the only way. It wasn't too sweet, but obvi is sweet as it's a chocolate chip cookie. It was soft and chewy and these remind me of chocolate chip cookies my mom used to make when I was a child in the Midwest and she sold them to the ragbrai cyclists. Buy lots of these. The oatmeal cream pie is like an elevated Little Debbie in a big way. If you like oatmeal cream pies, this does not disappoint. The oatmeal cookie isn't too dense and even with the filling is sweet but hopscotches the line of sweet/too sweet. Overall if you have a glass of milk or coffee or tea with this, it's a treat. The peanut butter sandwich cookie. Perfect for peanut butter lovers. The filling is also peanut butter. If you are a peanut butter lover, you need to eat this. The giant macarons, were pretty close to how you want macarons to taste. It was a tiny bit too sweet for me. But I'm sure it's completely fine with a cup of tea or coffee. Crisp exterior, chewy almond goodness with a soft vanilla Swiss buttercream filling. I like that it's not super dense filling. Will I buy from there again? Absolutely.

The cake was INCREDIBLE OVERPRICED! Well over $230 and thats for the smallest size (6 inch). On pickup today, i was so unhappy. It looked like a shein/temu version of what i had hoped for. Cheap decorative toppings. The girl who was working suggested I put it in the front seat so it wont move around too much. Welp! It DID! The top smashed into the box and the top layer started sliding off the bottom layer! I was angry! Because how does this place charge a lot more than your average shop and not have secure & larger boxes to place the cakes in!!!!! Wal mart could have done a better job for 1/6 of the price!!!! There was a family emergency that made it so all plans had to be cancelled and it was already a difficult time due to the emergency. I wanted to get a nice cake from a local bakery to help make up for the cancelled plans, so it can still feel like a birthday. I had tried several other places, but was unsuccessful. I went in to the store (about 10 minutes after closing, which I had no idea until later), explained the situation to the very kind and empathetic worker, and she found a vanilla cake in the back that was exactly perfect. I appreciate that she went above and beyond to try and help, especially because it was after closing and the cake that was provided to me wasn't originally for sale. Thank you so much!
