Peaches is our sales person and she is the best! Super kind and professional, very sweet and attentive, and she definitely has a good taste. We did a few purchases already and she always takes care of us. Overall our experience has been pretty good! Oh and I love the complimentary cleaning service, my ring looks like new again every time we take it there. read more

Came to diamonds direct a few years ago and had a custom wedding band made for my husband. He needed an upgrade and they delivered. I also ended up buying myself an emerald band, diamond earrings and a beautiful black diamond and gold bracelet by Simon G. I stop in periodically to see what's new and usually come out with something! Last time a gorgeous mother of pearl earrings for my daughter. They have a great selection of jewelry!!! read more

I came in to drop off 5 of my necklaces to get them untangled. I originally reached out to the team via email, in which they expressed there'd be a 3-week turnaround. When I walked in I felt very safe & secure with the security check at the door. The receptionist immediately referred me to her colleague Seth W. at the nearest counter. He shared that he learned how to untangle from a mentor, so every time he does it he feels like he's honoring that person. Seth finished my "puzzle" within 10 minutes, leaving me very impressed. I also thought it was nice that they let me throw away my coffee cup in their trashcan, I assume not all businesses would (instead they'd tell you to use the public ones outside). read more

I usually buy my jewelry in India, or Indian jewelry shops here in America, but decided to look for other non Indian jewelry shops for buying my ring(anniversary gift), checking out the reviews and reading the reviews, we just went DD, just to see the collection, Jennifer helped me out, they have so many options to choose from, and Jennifer was so friendly, patient, helpful, knowledgeable and the best thing I loved was, she wasn't pushy at all. I picked the ring and it was made in couple of weeks and I'm in so love with it, and definitely will be back soon!! read more

This is a fantastic jewelry store with a ton of beautiful options. The people are very knowledgeable and friendly. They go the extra mile with service as well. Today I brought my daughter's watch in to remove a few links (because she has the tiniest wrist!). The jeweler got right to work on it and in no time we were all set. read more

Ever since Anat and some of the other gals left DD. The service has gone down the drain. Also, the pricing and selection is terrible now; so I had to order some custom jewelry for my wife on our anniversary, the sales manger and the sales rep have no desire for customer service at all. No care nothing-no follow up either. Regarding the pricing, it has gone up tremendously compared to other local jewelers in town. The quality of products has also gone down. Very very disappointing. Will not be going back to them. Go to Zadok-much better collection, selection, top notch customer service and much better pricing. Thanks for nothing Diamonds Direct!! read more

I would like to take the time to say we did get a phone call from Christy and we were on speaker phone there was two other females as well I am not looking for free stuff. After the conversation with them they need more training on customer service when a business call an upset customer they have first listen to the customer and find out first what upsets them later that night I vacuum my living room floor and hear clicking sound so I open it to see what it was and there is was all in one piece so the next day we took it back and we had a nice conversation with a gentleman Noel he listen and said I am sorry that we felt disappointed with them but he asked what can I do to fix it and we said nothing we just bring the diamonds back and still in good shape. Just want to say Noel didn't make us feel like a scammer. 5 star goes to Noel!!! read more

I'm engaged! My fiancé came here to get the help he needed for the proposal. Peaches is the diamonds expert that helped and guided him. She kept in contact with him and provided updates on when the ring would be ready. I needed it be resized and later found a different setting that would compliment my ring and my fiancé agreed. The team there was kind, informative, and patient. I really liked the way they do service and I will be returning for any other jewelry needs. read more

We looked at many different jewelers in Austin, across Texas, elsewhere and also online. For Austin, we narrowed the list down to a handful of jewelers based on reviews. Our experience with Diamonds Direct (primarily Peaches but also Lou) was outstanding. We were greeted by name when we walked through the front door. We had shared by email following a call some fairly detailed information on the type of ring we were looking for (3-4 CTW round diamond eternity band with some setting preference details as well), and Peaches was well prepared to show us some excellent rings that matched what we were looking for. The Diamonds Direct selection in their showroom is outstanding. We had a wonderful experience with outstanding customer service -- thank you! read more

Kevin + Anat. Friends, not simply my go-to jewelers when I think about putting a ring on it, but amazing human beings. I believe we talked about life more than we did my engagement ring (ladies, I'm single as I write this, but prepping in advance, haha)! Let me get into the pros/cons: PROS - Sincere + authentic all around - WIDE selection of GIA diamonds - Custom CAD drawings, if desired - They sell watches, too! - Walk you through the process - Competitive pricing - No pressure sales tactics - Dedicated parking - Ships all over the place - COVID-friendly and clean CONS - They need to move to LA! Haha! - Might not have a diamond in stock - Main watch selection not in AUS Regarding the CONS, number one, they are a phone call or email away. They can ship to you no matter what, and I've done that before with them. Extremely secure and never lost a package. Naturally, if you do a custom order, they might not have the diamond in stock but can source whatever you want. The turnaround is impeccable as well, talking days, not weeks. Lastly, if you are looking for a watch, contact the team and plan, and I'm sure if you are serious, they can make anything happen. Let's talk about customer service + being human-centered. They lean in with kindness over ruthlessly meeting some quota. I have never felt pressured to make a decision, and it has always been on my time. Kevin and Anat are amazing people, seriously. I consider them friends before I would say they are my jewelers any day of the week. The compassion they have shared with my trials of tribulations on getting that d-mn ring on a lady's finger has been humorous, haha. To anyone worried about getting the best deal, a "real" diamond, the "best" diamond, education around diamonds, and desire a genuine experience, come here. Hands down. To Kevin and Anat, you guys have my heart. Truly. Thank you for always being there for me, and you have a family member to Diamonds Direct for life. read more

I'm engaged! My fiancé and I went ring shopping together. He wanted to make sure whatever he picked will compliment my hand, but also create some kind of a surprise when the actual proposal happened. We were assisted by Lisa & Lou. Lisa helped me picked out 5 settings for my fiancé to pick from. Lisa then helped finalize it with him while I keep myself preoccupied by their other selections. The service, selection, and value that we received from Diamonds Direct is exceptional. This is our first time working with Lisa and Lou, and they made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back for additional purchases. For those who are looking for the perfect ring, please give them a chance, you won't be disappointed by their selection! read more

BUYER BEWARE. We purchased a beautiful anniversary band from Diamonds Direct 3 years ago for a little over $6,000. At the time of purchase we were told about their amazing "lifetime upgrade" program. That was part of the reason we went with them. Skip forward to this week...went in to have my ring cleaned and polished and while waiting decided to look around. I found an amazing ring that I instantly fell in love with. Spoke with one of the gentleman working who assured me that my ring qualified for the trade up program. Went shopping for a bit then decided to go back in to get some details. I was then told by a manager that my ring did not qualify for the trade up program and was offered a "scrap" price of $1,400. This doesn't speak very highly of their product if they depreciate their very own product $4,600 in 3 short years and use the term scrap to describe it. I worked with Jennifer for about a month in January. I was looking for a GIA stone upgrade and Jennifer was extremely patient and helped guide me at every step. I've browsed Diamonds Direct several times over the past couple of years, but today was my first time working with anyone to make purchases. Today Lisa assisted me with some substantial purchases, and as a long time customer/buyer of high-end jewelry investment pieces, I can say without reservation that she is easily among the top three SA's I've ever worked with. She was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, honest, and has a genuine, honest eye for beauty--she's not afraid to tell you when a piece isn't as flattering as it should be, which I very much appreciate. I happily sipped the champagne she brought me and very confidently selected several necklaces and pairs of earrings, which I'm delighted with. There is NO ONE else I'd prefer to work with than Lisa, and I thankfully have her information so that I can see her whenever I have jewelry needs! Thank you Lisa, and thank you Diamonds Direct! Great customer service and pleasant experience! You can definitely tell Diamonds Direct has high expectations and their staff is very knowledgeable about their inventory. I had the same experience when I originally bought my wife's engagement ring 5 years ago at their Dallas location. My only negative would be the parking. Their location is located at The Domain which is already a busy area. They have spots blocked off for their customers only but it was tricky trying to park my truck in one of their spaces. Since my wife and I were in the area we decided to take her ring in to get cleaned for the first time. After about 10 minutes of walking around and looking at all the rings, watches and earrings the lady presented my wife with her ring. It looked brand new! read more

Thank you to Jennifer here in the Domain for all your help in finding the perfect ring! It is beautiful! After a short consultation, Jennifer found the exact stone I wanted and at a price that was in my price range. In addition, Jennifer was very responsive and communicative for the entire process! From the first step I took in to the store to the moment I picked up the ring, I felt Jennifer was invested in my timeline of the ring and my story. Diamonds Direct has the most affordable diamonds and settings that I could find. Now, my fiancé and I just went to the Houston location to get some sizing adjustments, which was at no additional cost, and we can't wait to get it back this week! Overly pushy we felt like the first time walking in just to look, the second time we had a design we liked and they gave us a price but didn't want to discuss the breakdown or alternatives, again feeling pushy, if they want us to spend over 4600 to 8k and there already being like this I can only imagine what the end of the transaction will be like, disgusting, we ended up going to Avantguarde who priced it more reasonably as well like 2500-3k for the same design and told us where our money was going and wanted to work with us and our budget read more

They have a great selection and my wife loves the ring we picked out. The sales guy we that was with was very pushy and most of the store employees feel like a used car dealership. I ended up getting my band online since I wanted a claddaugh design. The diamonds direct manager said "we can do that same ring but better". First, that's copyright infringement. Second, what would that even mean? Ultimately, it was about 25% of the cost and looks way better than the men's rings they had available. I would buy online again without a doubt and not even look here for men's rings. Unless you like the used car shopping experience. The other thing that really bothers me, and happened yesterday, is we went to the store for the inspection they require every 6 months to guarantee the mounting of the diamond. Most people won't do this, so it's almost a scam to begin with that they say it's guaranteed but if you don't do it every 6 months they won't honor the guarantee. This was our first time back since buying the ring. The woman at the front seemed confused we were even asking for an inspection. She said they don't typically do those anymore. If we don't and there's a problem, I'm sure they'll immediately point at the fine print and charge us thousands of dollars. So not looking forward to a hundred visits over my lifetime with them not wanting to inspect it and honor their warranty. read more

Today we came into DD ready to buy wedding bands. We were profiled immediately as we walked through the doors. The lady that helped us was less than thrilled. She acted like we were wasting her time. We got my engagement ring from here and my mom has bought a setting from here. I am usually put off by jewelry stores, but this place was something different. The employees are friendly and accommodating. They aren't pushy and will take their time with you. The amount of stuff they have here is amazing, there is just about every jewelry designer you can think of here! They are one of the few places that has Tacori as well. The have so many lines that you can compare and choose the exact one for you. They will custom do just about anything for you. If you can't find what you are looking for here then I just think you might be out of luck. It takes some patience to find the right one, since the selection is endless. Something for everyone and something in every price range as well. They have tons of events, they do tax free events (on certain items of course), military discounts, trunk shows, designer shows. I feel like every time we come here there is something going on, works out pretty well too because there are snacks. They always have drinks to offer you as well. We work with Larry Maxwell and it's awesome, he knows what he is doing and he will always do his best to get you a good price. I'm really particular at what I want and he was super patient and helpful. We visited on numerous occasions before we found the right one. It took time but it was so worth it. There comes that frightening day when a guy has to step foot in a jewelry store for the first time. No matter what the employees can do, there will always be that feeling of intimidation. I became that person, who knew absolutely nothing about jewelry; a minnow swimming into a pond filled with large fish. But like jumping into cold water, this feeling would only last a minute or two. Dread turned into comfort, and I actually had a fun experience. Walking into Diamonds Direct you're met with two sets of doors, each one will only open once the other closes. When you walk in, you're greeted by one of the staff, offering you assistance as well as a choice of beverage ranging from champagne to soft drinks. On this visit I declined the drink offer and was led to Karren Garces, one of the Diamond Experts. Karren was extremely cheerful and patient. I had so many questions and she answered every single one of them with gusto. She explained to me the various properties a diamond had with samples pieces from their storage. A huge information dump, but I was given time to think things through and made any modifications I wanted. Karren was a master with working with my budget and found the best ring that matched my specifications. Being frugal in nature, I also appreciated all the security and maintenance benefits offered when buying Diamond Direct products. While all the staff there seemed both knowledgeable and personable, I would definitely recommend working with Karren. I ultimately walked out feeling that I wasn't gypped, and was really happy with the ring, confident that the recipient would love it as well. I was right. read more

Had the pleasure of meeting and working with Scott Irish. I was in the market for a Tacori Engagement ring and a diamond to match. As a salesperson by trade I found Scott not only knowledgeable on the product, but also very good and patient in educating and selling diamonds. I must have met with Scott on 4-5 occasions to discuss several options and pricing and he was awesome every time. He even brought in different diamond sizes and options for me to compare. When we finally did get everything selected, he was very good about reach out to me with updates on the timeline of the rings production and arrival. He really made the process as streamline as it could be, and I found the only hold ups were my own indecision. In the end (or new beginning), the ring was a beauty. The lady in my life was stunned and hasn't stopped smiling since. The piece itself is a beautiful statement of our relationship and I have nothing but great memories associated with putting it all together thanks to Scott, and of course Tacori. Diamonds Direct has a "good one" when it comes to Scott, they're very fortunate, and I hope they take very good care of him as he took care of me (us). PS - She said yes. read more

My fiancé and I stopped here to look at wedding bands for him and we were blown away by the selection. It being our first stop, we decided to look around at other stores to see what our options were.. only to find out nothing compared to the selection, hospitality, and customer service we found at Diamonds Direct. So needless to say... we went with Diamonds Direct. We also got my wedding band there months later. Which they didn't let us down. They worked with us by email during Covid to find the ring I tried on in store months previously. Flash forward to today when we popped in the store bc the ring we ordered for him seemed snug so we wanted an expert opinion. They without hesitation resized him and took the ring in the back for the jeweler to stretch. We didn't even know that was a thing let alone it was FREE. They polished it and took my engagement ring (not from DD) in back to be polished and cleaned while I sipped on an espresso. Likeee can I just hangout here all the time surrounded by Diamonds, yummy treats and friendly people? My Uncle Ray (RIP) once told me "Hey Stewy, if you want to buy diamonds, never ask the grocer for advice, that would be stupid" Then he went on to say "Tomatoes I know, diamonds I dont" (I was inquiring about a gift I wanted to buy) Well Tio, Ive been following your advice. Funny, gold bullion & coins I know, but gems unfortunately I dont. Been wanting to check out Diamonds Direct since we checked out stones at a few recognized jewelry shops, but kept getting diamonds, that had more spots than the milky way galaxy. Diamonds Direct, at The Domain in Austin is a class act. It has a New York feel, people are pros at what they do and extremely cordial (I dont mean kiss up cordial) We spoke with Kevin Ferrin and his lovely associate, and were impressed by their immaculate style and grace. The attitude of what makes us happy was obvious regardless of price. I had $6K on my mind to invest in Angie's smile, but they accommodated Angie with a logical and awesome recommendation for a fraction of the cost. they actually where wanting to find her the stone she wanted. The other guys, elsewhere would have added to the $6K and handed me a credit application for the difference on an inferior grade gemstone. Kevin is a Diamond Expert, a Gentlemen and a Scholar. He is at the Domain. He is one Angie and I highly reccomend and above all trust. He put such a smile on my Angie's face. Now thats priceless. I came here after a bad experience with a different retailer (I say retailer in this scenario because the place I am speaking of is not a reputable jeweler); my center stone fell out of the first ring I bought after only 4 weeks (not at DD) and I luckily was able to get my money back from them. My FFIL suggested I go to diamonds direct. My FMIL walked in on a Saturday. They greet you at the door and put you down on list. They offer you refreshments and you are able to walk around and browse their vast collection. I got excited pretty immediately because there was so much to look at. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any crazy unique designs, as my first ring was certainly one of a kind, but I was coming to accept that I wouldn't find something like that again. I now know that DD actually can do custom designs, so that is something to consider (though I don't know what the process or pricing is like for that). We were set up to work with Sarah Ellen, who is an absolute delight. Very funny and down to Earth, which I absolutely need. She explained that most of their displayed rings are set with CZ or other, and you are able to customize most designs with your metal type, ring size, setting, and diamond - and then they custom order the design for you and set the stone in store - a process taking about 4-6 weeks. I didn't want to wait so we settled on a pre set item, that they would resize and have back to me the following week. As soon as I left I didn't feel good about it. It was beautiful on me but it wasn't right. I waited until Monday (the store was closed by the time I had a chance to really think about it that night) and spoke with another customer representative. They were so understanding and said if I came in that week they would absolutely make it right. They had the ring I purchased waiting for me so I could try it on again, and when I said it just wasn't right they set me up with a new person to find the right fit (Sarah Ellen was not in that day and I wanted to get it done ASAP). I wish I would have gotten this woman's name, because she was so incredibly patient and helpful . She spent an hour with me picking out the right design, and then stone - even though I was exchanging an item bought from another representative. Since this was not a preset, I picked out a design from a selection she brought out in my budget ( I gave her a range and just a few starting points of what I like and don't like.) Then, once I decided, she brought out about 4 stones that fit with what I was looking for and in the remaining budget. I didn't like any of them so she brought out a few more. I told her I liked those, but wanted something just as big as I could possible afford, upping my budget by 200$. She came back once more with the stone we decided on. A .63 G color that sparkled more than the others. She let me see it in a temporary setting, put it on, look through a loupe, and take it to the window to see it play in the light. Then she allowed me to do the exchange. Lord, help me, I ended up calling Sarah Ellen the next day and was concerned that I needed to change the order to a smaller size. She was so helpful, and made the change. The order ended up being ready the sat before it was due. (She told me 5 weeks, which would have been the following Monday). We happened to be at the Domain and stopped in, totally surprised and delighted that it was already in. I had been told that an appraisal would be given to me upon pick up, but I think because I had come in early they did not have that prepared. They told me they could send it on Monday but I asked nicely if it could be done today. No problem, they made sure to get it to me. I was so absolutely pleased with my ring, and it fit great. Sarah Ellen made sure to stop by one more time before I left to address any concerns I might have. Not once did they make me feel like a bridezilla. Even my FH felt comfortable and welcome. Diamonds Direct makes this process seem fun and comfortable. Thank you! read more

Been meaning to write this review since December! Got my beautiful fiancé her engagement ring here. I did the preemptive research. Search no more, I have a couple points for you. 1. They do buy direct and they're big enough to do it so you're cutting out at least one middle man. 2. All the sales staff I dealt with were gemologists and they have their own lab onsite so I was able to make a last minute change on the day I was picking the ring up. 3. They're are so many online reviews marking them as the best around, why really waste your time at some fancy named shop where a guy who doesn't sell enough is trying to make his week's salary off your one piece? I had a delightful experience with Jennifer whom I first and last bought the diamond from. She was absent as I went in 2 times in between to check things out before pulling the trigger. Every time someone else helped me, they helped as if it were their own sale, couldn't believe it! Not once was I rushed or pressured. I can't say enough how important that is to me in a true sales environment. Fun fact: The day I purchased the ring and I went back to work my boss kind of freaked out. He said never make big purchases without talking to him first. He knew a German Jewish broker in New York whom he told me I had to call. I may have been able to get a much better deal or better diamond for the same price. I immediately called her. She had me send her my specs and I even sent pics via email. I barely slept that night. In the morning I had an email from Anastasia in New York, congratulations Jeremy, you did very good! - Wow right!?! Thanks DD, we'll be back for the wedding bands! read more

Jennifer Anderson was an absolute dream to work with, definitely request for her if you can. - Jennifer's Customer Service: 5 Stars To sum up Jennifer in a few words, I say she is: Patience, detailed (took notes on everything I liked or didn't like), supportive, personable, listened to what we wanted , knowledgeable, and never pushy. Just a genuinely amazing person. - Engagement Ring selection: 5 Stars Endless engagement rings in all budget ranges. - Diamond Selections: 5 Stars By far the best selections of diamonds on hand in the store to match up with the ring setting. We went to 2 other engagement rings stores and DD blew them out of the water on diamonds selections. -Diamond Information and Education: 5 Stars Long story: My Fiancé and I stopped in to DD a few months ago. It was the 2nd store out of the 3 we wanted to check out for an engagement ring. We walked in on a Saturday without an appointment and Jennifer greeted us right away and offered us drinks. Jennifer was so sweet, just asked questions about us, what we wanted, what our budget range was and then just went straight into showing us rings! Jennifer was great letting me try on every ring I wanted and even 2 times if I couldn't make up my mind. Jennifer was so patience, personable and informative with us. After trying on rings and picking our top 3, she showed us the diamonds she had in the store. Jennifer was awesome at educating us on things we should be looking out for. She made it a fun experience and was extremely understanding and supportive, since my fiancé and I had different ideas on the ring. After spending 2 1/2 hours with us, we asked if we could think about it. My fiancé asked not to me contacted as the 1st store we went to the sales person has been hounding him daily. Jennifer was so respectful with our request and after shopping around I couldn't stop thinking about the ring Jennifer showed me and how lovely she was. We made an appointment a month later and the moment we walked in the store she greeted us like old friends. Offered us drinks and had my top 3 rings already set aside and all her notes on my measurements. She is a true professional and a dream to work with. My Fiancé adores her as much as I do. Turns out, my husband came in the day before, picked out a new diamond, and hatched a plan with Kevin to switch it out while we were at lunch. The plan went off without a hitch: I was truly shocked and the ring is more beautiful than I ever thought possible. Thank you so much to Kevin, Anat, and the entire team at Diamonds Direct. You made this a truly wonderful experience for us! read more
