I've been here a few times, mainly with the work gang, and it has been excellent every time. Super friendly service, excellent food, and a cool atmosphere. It can get a bit loud because of the design, and I'm not confident they should do anything about it. Good choice of beers and pub-style food. Disappointed with service. Tons of waitstaff, 2 bartenders. We sat at the bar and were mostly ignored after our order was taken. Bartender spent most of his time flirting and talking with waitstaff and another bartender who was presumably done and having a meal before going home. We had pizza, which were fine. read more

When dining companions were finished eating, server offered another burger....did not have time to wait. Manager was not going to deduct from check until My dining companions insisted. Service was great. Ate at the bar. The beer was ok, but nothing outstanding, as the mouth feel was heavy on carbonation rather than malt. Too bad food wasn't as good as the service. I had the pretzel poles which were good. It came with cheese sauce which had broken and was grainy and not smooth. Then came the chicken and rice soup. It resembled thick oatmeal; nothing soupy about it. The flavor was very odd. 3 spoonfuls and that was enough. I had the Mary sandwich, and it was good. Full confession I did not try any beer but there were a couple offerings that sounded tasty. Loved that one of the Sunday specials is chili and cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls are giant! Food was pretty good, not awesome but totally edible. Fries were the best. Service was solid, our waitress was very pleasant and checked on us a few times. Nice sports bar atmosphere. First time in. We were informed that "the beer list is about 70% accurate since we're making room for our own beers tomorrow". Ok. Sounds legit. So we start to try to order. After being told no a total of five times between the two of us, we gave up. Who wants their third choice? The waiter was just unhelpful. He could have rattled off what they have instead of making us play guessing games. A printed menus could have been put out for the week, with the blown/empty kegs crossed off. The "updated" digital menus could have been updated. We arrived two hours into a four hour brunch for Mother's Day and the food was gone, including the advertised prime rib. Original cost was $42 for the buffet. All steam tables were empty except for potatoes. Crumbs of biscuits. No gravy. Nobody refreshing the buffet. Nothing to eat. We got a slice of ham and some fruit with a greasy "omelet". Which was inedible. We were told they would discount the price when asked how things were and we said there was nothing to eat. They started serving incoming guests off of the regular menu. One patron turned to my husband and said "isn't this f#%^** disappointing". When the bill came it was still $37 per person. Discounted $5. No food. We left hungry. We noticed this place from the road, especially the cool architecture of the building! There aren't many places like this in Billings, so we were really curious. We stopped by at about 3:30 pm and went in for a beer and to check out the menu. We both found beers on tap we really like. The menu looks good and we can't wait to try many of the items. We shared an order of truffle fries, and IPA and a few pale ales. Things we love about this place, besides the brews and building.... There is a fireplace! It was -2 degrees the day we stopped by, and even though we didn't sit next to the fp, it adds a nice ambiance. We also notice a decent-sized patio, and a few tall rolling doors to open the building up to the outdoors in nicer weather. This is the type of place we like to hang out for a cold brew or cider. I hope the menu delivers. Prices are in line with mid-Covid costs to eat out. Staff was friendly, tvs in a few spots, but not overwhelming the interior, like a sports bar. Good logo for t-shirts and hats. We're excited to see Diamond X in C Billings! read more

Amazing building and waitstaff. Its way better than the place nextdoor. Parking is a challenge. We have been here numerous times. Brunch is no go. Nothing traditional, strange creations, eggs and coffee seem to be the only breakfast items. Combine them with lettuce and fries....not my thing. Beers are good, no full liquor here and usually they are out of a few. Place is insanely busy and loud. Food is lacking and hopefully being worked on. Always cold when you get it with the exception of nachos. Porky Pig has been out the past several visits. Diamond dip has come smothered in cheese (Billy Cheesesteak) but was told they are the same, right. Didn't like the wings or Mac N' Cheese. Angry Rooster had good flavor but again, better hot or at least warm. Hope they dial it in, its great to have good food this far out on the westend. read more

Fun place for date night with the husband. There was a wait for the table so we grabbed a spot at the bar. Kyle was a wonderful bartender and server. He went above and beyond to make sure we had our beers full, our dinner perfect, and he tracked down a woman who forgot her sunglasses by literally running around the building. It's a little pricey for bar food but a fun atmosphere, especially outside by the games. This would be a great place to take our teenagers. We will certainly be back! read more

Hmmm...Cool building and interior with tons of seating, busy and very, very average mass production food. Had the smoked salmon BLT with avocado with "truffle" fries. The bun was a weird overy thick greasy deal that was supposed to flakey, I think, but was mostly gooey. Bacon was undercooked. One limp piece of green leaf lettuce and two pale tomato slices. Tasted nothing like a BLT so just picked the salmon and avocado off with a fork. Fries were even worse. Not fries but wedges, undercooked starchy things scattered with a huge quantity of GIANT chunks of parmesan cheese. Given the crowd I fear more of these places show up in Billings and crowd out the great selection of smaller, quality, family run restaurants we enjoy. The Dallas FTW area is full of these flashy, super busy restaurants where the food is fair but appeals to the undiscerning masses. The in-house Scottish Ale was decent. Admittedly it was my first visit - I will go back and if the food isn't better it will be 1 or 2 stars. read more

What a fantastic place to grab a bite and a pint. My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch and were pleased with everything about this place. Our server, Cora, was fantastic. Got a mimosa so did some other people I was with. Mine came in a different glass appeared to be smaller. We asked the waitress if I was going to be charged the same. Fantastic place. I had the mushroom pizza. Real good. Joslin waited on us and was very attentive! Several games outside including a putting green. I tried to get one of the brews from their brewery, however Billings drank them dry. They have a large selection of Montana brews as a back up. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food. Spend less on ambience and more on a brewmaster. Love the building, food is a swing and a miss, beer is actually somehow worse than the owners Brew Pub downtown. You'd think the proliferation of breweries would result in an increase quality, but apparently not- but also, the same "entrepreneurs" who run gross breweries keep opening more- so it's actually not competition, just the illusion of such, and the quality is all the proof you need. Less building/decor and better beer- don't put the cart before the horse. read more
