Went in today looking for a band, unfortunately I couldn't make up my mind and wasn't sure what I was looking for. But that aside, Jason the gentleman who helped us, was beyond nice and welcoming! Didn't make us feel like he was trying to sell us just anything he can like a typical salesman. He helped give me an idea what I like and don't like and I'm sad we didn't find anything we loved simply because he was such a pleasure and so helpful! I absolutely recommend going here and hope you also work with him directly!!! read more

Pat was extremely helpful in educating me about diamonds when I went to buy my wife's engagement ring and later, the wedding bands and a necklace for my wife. She spent hours with me and I ended up with something completely different than what I had originally thought I wanted. I learned more about diamonds than I could have ever wanted and my wife loves her ring and constantly gets compliments on it. I have since bought most all of my jewelry from mark and pat and send people to them as often as I can. They are friendly and always try to get you the best deal without screwing around with you. Thanks again Diamond Vault! read more

I was ecstatic when my boyfriend proposed to me, but dreading the trip to the jeweler to pick out the setting for the diamond. I've always cringed when stepping foot into jewelry shops and having to associate with people so desperate to make a commission. The jewelers at Diamond Vault are exactly the opposite of what I was expecting. I never write reviews, but had to take the time to write a review on the exceptional service I received there. I live in L.A. and will travel the 9 hours to go to the Diamond Vault for any of my jewelry needs from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

What a great, caring, and professional staff!! We bought my engagement ring June 2014 and have never wanted to go anywhere else. Purchasing something as timeless and special as an engagement ring (or any other special piece) should be with the Diamond Vault team. We have always been treated so kindly and have been helped with great care. We have been in since June 2014 for wedding bands and cleanings. Each time we walk in, we are greeted with happy and eager to assist staff! We always look forward to going back. read more

First and foremost, when I first walked in looking for an engagement ring the staff instantly made me feel comfortable and important. I showed Ed (one of employees) a picture of what I liked, told him my price range and never once did he question or try and coax me into something "more expensive". I instantly felt like family there and never felt like i was dealing with a salesman. Being from Tahoe I was able to do a lot of stuff over email with designs and Ed was very quick and timely with a response. I'm sure i will spend many more hours in there in the future and would recommend anyone to visit them. Their selection is amazing and are able to get a hold or design anything. Overall if you're looking to purchase a diamond or any jewelry you will feel like your purchasing from a friend rather than a salesman. read more

I had the BEST experience with Diamond Vault Reno! Jason and the entire staff were incredibly helpful! Not only did I find the wedding bands of my dreams, but they helped me to design a ring with some old diamonds of mine that is incredible. Jason understood what I wanted, and made my dreams come alive! They were so honest and trustworthy... which is something very important to me when it comes to a jeweler! So excited to get more work done here in the future! Thank you Jason for all your help and kindness! read more

Would give them six stars if possible. Because we had such a great experience we decided to go back and look a ring for myself. We met with the same gentlemen who helped us with my fiancé's ring, Bryan, and had a great time browsing. While we perused he cleaned her ring (we didn't even ask or think about it!) and eventually I found a ring I would want if only I could mix and match a couple. Bryan assured me that was possible, sent out the order, and in a week we had my ring. Perfect! read more

If you are looking for a reputable, professional, friendly experience, then look no further! We were in NV on vacation from CA. We decided to see what solitaire stones they might have as we were looking for an Emerald cut specifically. Not only did they have a good selection, they also brought in many others so that we could get the size, shape and quality that fit our budget. Ed helped us with a custom design and it was exactly what we had envisioned. A big plus is that they are more than happy to clean and check the setting as often as you like. We feel like family and plan to be loyal shoppers for as long as they are around! read more

From start to finish the interaction was excellent. I shared what I was looking for and received very good feedback. I was thoroughly impressed with the ring we received and my fiancée was thrilled with it. Pricing was competitive and the overall customer service was world class. Thank you!!! read more

Very friendly, trustworthy staff and ownership. If you're shopping for a loose stone to have set, make sure you have a good idea of where you want to be as far as your C's and budget. Maybe even do some shopping at other locations so you can see the differences in person, as they didn't have much on-hand to look at. I respect that, and understand that not carrying the overhead helps the customer get a better price. We had a lengthy back-and-forth with a couple tense moments because we kept changing our minds on what we wanted. There were also a few times that things got confusing in regards to which stones/diamond houses were all cash prices, and which could/couldn't be brought in for viewing with a deposit before purchase. However, once I put down the deposit to source the stones, everything went smoothly. The stones came in, I picked one, picked a setting, had it set and it was ready within a few days. They did mis-size the ring initially and forgot to tell me it was in the store when I went to pay for it... but they were apologetic and were able to get it resized and back in the store the next day. The stone was placed in the setting for free and a beautiful custom wooden box with built-in light was a great addition. I felt the pricing was very good. Came in a few hundred under BlueNile, we were able to view the diamonds before purchasing and had the very knowledgable (and patient) Ed Hattery answering all of our questions and helping us through the process. I will be back to Diamond Vault for any future needs, and highly recommend them. read more

I had been thinking about purchasing an engagement ring for a while and went to the Diamond Vault after a recommendation from a coworker. I couldn't be happier with experience all the way through from being educated on diamonds to choosing a diamond and setting. Brian was great to work with as he showed me many subtle differences in diamond quality beyond the 4Cs that I had read about online. Brian was very up front and honest with me on the quality of the diamond that I was getting and worked within the budget I had set. Being a wholesale jeweler I never felt pressured into making a decision or a purchase the whole time. When I had decided on the approximate size diamond I was comfortable purchasing Brian ordered a diamond specifically for me to look at and it ended up being the one I selected. I really liked the personalized experience that I got at the Diamond Vault as I learned things beyond what I had read online and had never thought about. I like the fact that you are truly buying a one of a kind piece with them and that they take the time to ensure you're satisfied with your purchase!!! read more

I have used this business several times and have had exceptional service and experience. They rebuilt a family heirloom that had been ran over in a parking lot by countless vehicles until it was flattened the the center stone was crushed. They were able to reshape and rebuild the ring to perfect shape and detail. I highly recommend this company as i have always felt that they were exceptional in customer service and very fair in their pricing. You have my business in the future as well. read more

I don't have enough kind things to say about the Diamond Vault! I'm so happy that my husband went there to get my ring. Pat and Mark really took the time to educate him on diamonds and helped him create my one of a kind ring. Jewelry stores can be really intimidating for guys looking for that perfect ring, totally not the case with the Diamond Vault. My husband walked in and immediately felt comfortable. Pat lead him through the whole process from choosing a band, setting, and helping him choose the diamond. He was able to customize my ring by adding rose gold to one of the bands, which I absolutely LOVE. My ring is one of a kind and I get compliments on it nearly everywhere I go. They helped us stay within our budget and we never felt pressured. When it was time for me to get my husbands band, their was no question that I was going to go there. The second I stepped in and they saw my ring, they welcomed me by name. They couldn't wait to meet me and see the face that went with the ring. I had my husbands band made to match mine and the process was so effortless. We are so pleased with the customer service that we recommend the Diamond Vault to everyone. Don't fall for the big box stores, most of their sales people don't have half of the knowledge that Pat and Mark have. They are genuine, honest people who take pride in their work and go above and beyond! read more

After much research and shopping around the Diamond Vault made it happen. I was looking to upgrade my wife's diamond ring from a .50 carat to a .75 or so. I had been to several loose diamond dealers in San Francisco but the price was through the roof unless you wanted a inferior diamond whice they were happy to sell you telling you it was still good. I then was at a major retailer (zales ) who said they would upgrade for me and give me full credit for my original purchase, but the new .75 was over $6,000. Yea right! So then to pawn shops and little neighborhood shops but finally ended up at the Diamond Vault where Mark worked with me to get a great .76 GIA certified VS2 G diamond which I traded one stone, another ring and a watch plus a little cash for. I ended up with a perfect stone mounted and polished in a really cool gift box that lights up when you open it to show off the diamond. Also in the package was the certificate and a very good appraisal letter. Mark went over every detail with me, was honest and even worked with me on negotiating a price that I could afford, which was way below the asking price. Bottom line, this is the best place to get a loose diamond. If you have to take a trip from the Bay Area, do it. read more

I had a great experience purchasing an engagement ring at the Diamond Vault. Brian and Ed were very helpful and knowledgeable, and made the experience comfortable from the first time I walked through the door. I will not go anywhere other than the Diamond Vault for my fine jewelry repair, purchases, and/or consignment. Mark and Pat make you feel comfortable from the moment you step into their store to the moment you leave. They are very informative and professional, and they go the extra mile to ensure you get just what you want and within your price range without any sales pressure. I get compliments all of the time on my wedding ring and make sure to mention the Diamond Vault whenever I can. I would recommend the Diamond Vault to anyone and without any reservations about doing so. Thank you Mark and Pat! read more

The worst customer service and ethics. Stay away and don't buy from the Diamond Vault. Don't get me wrong, they (Pat) bent over backwards to sale me. I proposed, she said "yes", but it was the same style setting as her ex's ring. We went back into the Diamond Vault, she picked out a different setting. I then went back the fallowing day to make the upgrade(s) and purchase. That is when the Diamond Vault nightmare started. They wanted to discount the ring I bought from them less than two weeks earlier. The ring had never been worn, not even put on her finger for a moment. They wanted to charge me full price on the upgraded diamond 1.25ct and ring. I was so appalled that I walked out. I then found another retailer (out of state) that sold Bashoura Moderno rings. Two days later I get a call from Jonny at Bashoura saying the sale is blocked because of retailer territory rights. That is the straw that has me writing about them. I have an engagement ring that I can't return for an honest upgrade. Plus I can't buy the ring my fiancé' wants unless I go through an unethical dishonest jeweler by the name of "Diamond Vault" Greedy, unethical, dishonest, and terrible customer service. I had decided to propose to my beautiful girlfriend and decided to start shopping for the perfect ring. I went to a couple large stores and was baffled by the push that i got to purchase their ring. My brother had purchased his ring at the diamond vault and suggested that i give it a shot. After i was buzzed into their store i met Brian. He sat me down and asked me about 10 questions before he tried to show me anything. I thought that i was pretty knowledgable after my own research but his information blew me away. He showed me a handful of diamonds and told me about each individual one. At NO point did he push me to buy anything. He let me choose everything and he stuck to my budget. At no point did he show me something i couldn't afford. When i picked the package up I was blown away. The box it came in was amazing and totally different from anything i had ever seen before. I will push anyone and everyone to go to the Diamond Vault in Reno, you will not be disappointed in their selection, knowledge or service. read more
