The sales associate was very nice and professional, and I appreciated their time and courtesy. Unfortunately, I did not walk out with the Rolex watch I was hoping for even though I was ready to buy right then and there, and the watch was there. I wanted to upgrade from my two Rolex watches. The sales associate told me to try the Roseville store, where I was told I might have better luck. While I was really hoping to build a local relationship with an authorized dealer, it appears I may have to stick with a prior relationship with an AD in Iowa instead, which is fine. I took my wedding ring in to be sized down. Their repair shop is located off-site, and it took a few days longer than I was promised. When it was finally ready, I found it was exactly the same size as when I took it in. However, they had removed some gold when allegedly working on it. When questioned by the manager, the repair person made the ludicrous statement that he had actually INCREASED my ring's size. I left my ring with DeVon's so it could be adjusted properly. I was told it would be ready in two days. 8 days later I called and it still hadn't been returned. I went in the following day and learned that my ring STILL hadn't been reduced to the requested size and didn't fit. More gold had been removed, of course. I took my ring back and will never return to DeVons. I was originally charged $308 to adjust the ring by 1/2 a size. The manager knocked that down to $200, which I appreciated. The sales staff seemed nice, but I didn't have the impression that anyone really cared about my ring or me. read more

The moment I saw my wife's ring I knew it was the one. She gets compliments everywhere she goes as it's a very unique piece! This is a review about Kiarah. I've wanted a Rolex for years. My great uncle was one of my favorite people in the world (named my son after him), and I always admired his watch. I've shied away from going to a dealer to look in to buying one of my own because of the absolute horror stories that I have heard about the snobby horrible attitudes I've heard you can be greeted with. Well, I should have come in years ago. Did I leave with a watch? No, and that's ok. I came in with my wife and we were both treated like absolute gold by Kiarah. She showed me the display models and let me handle them, offered to clean my wife's rings including her wedding ring, and gave her a bottle of water as well. Family is EVERYTHING, and seeing how well Kiarah treated my wife as opposed to other jewelry store experiences means I will send every person that needs jewelry here. Easy parking, great customer service, and we ultimately went with DeVons for our wedding bands because they had a great warranty on the ring (vs. buying online). My fiancé had his heart set on the meteorite ring he was introduced to here, but we wanted to shop around before making the big purchase. I was very unhappy with the way my diamond turned out looking in a setting I purchased from Devons. The sales person agreed with me but said I was out of luck since I had special ordered the ring in white gold as opposed to the yellow gold one they had in stock. I was interested in making an exchange for the yellow one. He said he'd check to see if there was anything he could do...but never called me back. My review is based on my experience without buying anything. We went in the day after Christmas and it was busy. Scott ended up assisting us. Throughout the whole process he was super nice, very helpful. At NO point did I feel like I was a bothering him as I went through countless rings trying to find just the right one. I found one I liked but wanted to think about it as it's a big purchase. We came back 2 days later and when we walked in Scott called us by name. I had changed my mind on one of the rings and Scott again worked with me to find something I liked. I told him in the beginning of this 2nd visit it was between this ring and one from another store. My friend and I walked in to DeVons in Reno to browse some watches. We were immediately greeted by Dylan, who showed us around. We looked at some Tudor watches and I asked to look at the Rolexes. He began showing us all of the different models and giving in depth descriptions of each piece. We ended up talking to him for over an hour and a half and learned more in that hour and a half about Rolex than we had known about watches when we walked in the door.
