Sensors that needed to be replaced that kept the truck from driving out of 2nd gear

DO NOT BUY A TRUCK HERE. I bought 2 trucks at the same time from this dealership a 2020 and 2018 freightliner. As soon as they got a 25k deposit from me I didn't hear from them for 1 whole month. I was dealing with Juan and someone named Ashley. I purchased both trucks with extended warranty. Since I got 2 trucks from the same dealership they needed to get funding from 2 different lenders. When it came time for my driver to get one truck 3 months later the truck broke down next day leasing the dealership. After I contact the dealership they told me they removed my extended warranty because one lender that funded the 2018 truck didn't finance with added warranty and of course I wasn't told that before buying the truck. So come to find out this truck had transmission issues and it ended up costing me $10,000 dollars worth of repairs and the dealership told me I bought the truck AS IS. But told me the truck had a full inspection and was 0 issues and was covered under warranty. My mother called and spoke to Juan. He was really rude to her told her "not to call back his number ever again" As of today everyone at this dealership has not returned my calls and stopped answering and I have not even been reimbursed for the driver flights and Ubers as promised

Big Fraud company .... We buy truck VIN 3AKJHPDV8LSF0337 yesterday... all parts broken ... after that now we call they not pick the phone... we have 8 Trucks all trucking companies are cooperative but they are so rude and irresponsible. Fontana branch Manager Jerry lopez and sale branch manager Shawn they both make a big mess. Now they ask we both are on holiday. They all now their make fraud with innocent buyers that's why they not answering us. We take a legal action

Happy customers!

Exceptional service! We had the pleasure of meeting Juan and I'm so glad we decided to buy from Diamond Truck Sales! Hands down best service we received! Juan helped us out, explained everything very thoroughly and was so patient through the whole process. He was well-informed, organized and a pleasure to talk to. Excellent customer service is hard to come across these days and I just had to do a review for it. Best experience ever!! Make sure you check them out and ask for Juan, i promise you won't regret it!

My appointment was at 10:30 AM, and while I was there, I also asked about upgrading my existing (fanless) roof vent to one with a fan and rain guard. They had one in stock, so I went ahead with it. The team told me they would handle everything and give me a call when it was ready. By 1:00 PM the same day, I got the call that all the work was done--super fast turnaround. They also sent me a text with photos of the repairs and a video showing the new fan working, which I really appreciated. When I got the RV home and checked everything out, all the work was completed properly and working perfectly. Overall, this was a great experience. Fast, thorough, and excellent communication throughout the process. Big thanks to Zee and his crew for top-notch customer service!

My journey to RV ownership began in an airport with one phone call with the BEST employee, salesman…read moreTanner. Our communication crossed multiple forms of media (call, text, email) which was greatly appreciated given my change in time zones and work schedule. Tanner was quite patient, as I was a novice and did not know what I was looking for--just that I wanted a camper to make travel nursing in remote areas safer and a bit more serene in a 3 week timeframe. Tanner was knowledgeable, personable, professional, and always available! He went above and beyond, I was beyond grateful that Tanner was there for each question, frustrating moment, and moment during the selection and finance process. Tanner excelled in finding the perfect camper for the client's needs, coordinating between departments, and maintaining exceptional customer service. A few times I wanted to chose another dealership or disregard this idea, but Tanner was truly the deciding factor! September was ray of sunshine in an otherwise stressful financing portion of the experience. She too was knowledgeable, helped me find options that best suited me in financing and RV coverage. After signing there is an extensive walk through to ensure I knew what every button operated, how to hook up to power/water/sewage, and troubleshooting tips. Despite how busy they were, I did not feel rushed in any part of pick up day. Fast forward, in my first week questions were eagerly answered over the phone no matter how many times I called. Later during my learning curve of driving an RV, I needed assistance from the parts and repair department-- Brad and Justin were shining stars! They alleviated my stress by meeting my urgency with urgency and professionalism, repairing what they could, and assisting with finding a repair shop and starting the estimates. Never once did they make me feel like i was not a priority, embarrassed or ashamed. They continued to extend that professional courtesy even afterwards. I cannot describe every instance or employee but i urge you to make HAPPY DAZE the only call you make for a trade-in or new purchase!

You will need service and they will absolutely let you down and disappoint you at every turn. Our purchase experience in Oct 2021 was very good, Jason and team were very helpful and we got a very fair deal. Pick up day wasn't great, there were about 9 things that I found that had to be fixed during the walk-through. My strong advice here is to not sign the paperwork until after you do the walk-through. Essentially we already owned the RV the first time we got to walk it and find all the problems, not a good situation. Derek and the service team took care of us and after a couple hours we were able to leave with the 9 above things mostly fixed. Within 3 weeks of purchase we started having issues with the Schwintek slide mechanism not working correctly, it was popping and there were metal shavings coming from it. Back it went to the Happy Daze and they recommended full slide column replacement, after much back and forth, including having to pick it up for a trip and then bring it back, it was fixed after a month or so. I later discovered the ladder was damaged during the time at Happy Daze, which isn't surprising considering the crazy amount of RVs in the tiny lot that have to be moved around constantly. We then had good experiences with our 2400BH for next few months. July 2022, we were camping for the 4th and noticed our Furrion12v refrigerator wasn't cooling well. This is apparently a very common problem with these units. We limped it along for the trip and when we got home I did a bunch of testing, called Furrion for help and they said in the 1st year of the 2 year warranty I have to work with Grand Design, ugh, not looking forward to this. Also, our slide starting popping and creating metal shavings again. I called Happy Daze service and Alfred answered, I explained the situation and let him know we had our next camping trip in 5 weeks. He set an appointment for us to drop it off in 2 weeks, not great, but acceptable. I called Alfred 1 week after dropping it off and asked for the status, now is where things really go down hill. He said they haven't looked at it yet and they won't until it is "my turn," I asked when that would be, he said he didn't know. I asked how many RVs are in front of me, he said maybe 20. I mentioned again that we have a trip now in 2 weeks, he said they will try and look at the fridge. This is crazy to me, why would I drop my RV off if you aren't going to look at in the next day or two, what is the point of making an appointment? I let another 10 days go by and call again, no answer, I called more than 6 times over the course of 3 days, no answer. I left a voicemail, nothing. We are now 2 days from camping so I go to pick up my RV. Alfred is there, he says oh yeah, there are only a couple more in front of you at this point. Great, I need to collect it so we can go to our scheduled trip with everything still broken. It was in the farthest possible spot in the back, they had to move at least 6 other RVs to get to mine. One hour later I get to take my still broken, and now very dirty RV home and bring it back the following Monday. I am so mad at this point I could scream. I happened to run into Jason, who sold me the RV, less than 10 months ago. I explained my situation, he had no response, another customer came over and asked him a question and he took that opportunity to quickly get away from me. It is all very sad and maddening. This is not our first RV, we owned a Forest River Coachmen for 5 years that never once had to be serviced. Grand Design is advertised as a premium product and experience, I can say I will never buy one again. I love our RV, I love RVing, but the complete lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. I do want to say that Derek in the service department is an awesome guy, he recognizes me every time I come in (which is entirely too often), is super friendly and goes out of his way to try and make me feel better, he is very much one man alone. Do not buy an RV from Happy Daze until and unless they fix their broken service department.

Service guys are nice but also make a lot of excuses for crappy products that they sell! I bought a brand new 2026 highland ridge and it has spent more time in the shop then with me. I paid a lot of money upfront for an inspection that I was told would completely go through the camper to make sure it was all good to go. However it is now in the shop having an entire wall rebuilt because it was not manufactured properly. Like a whole wall on a brand new piece of equipment. It's had leaks, it's had molding fall off, it's had minor things but a whole wall? I've asked of if I can get my inspection fees reimbursed but am told I need to contact sales or financing... like why do I need to make a bunch of calls when you can throw a pen to the sales guys desk??? The office is Small. Whenever I ask why all this is happening I'm just about the crappy California road and how my camper is an earth quake on wheels. However I'm pretty sure it has wheels for a reason!!!!! It's suppose to go down the road. Good thing gmc doesn't use those excuses no one would buy their trucks. My advice.... Don't buy new! It's not worth it. Or maybe just don't buy highland ridge! In no world is it ok to buy brand new stuff that then needs to be rebuilt, and all you get is a bunch of lame excuses but no compensation!

They showed me pictures of my drums showing signs of excessive heat. This did not prompt the technician to look at my rear brakes or any form of root cause analysis. I was just sold a brake job and sent it on my way. I asked the service advisor before I left. Did that prompted to look at the rear? He left me with "I would have yeah" and would not elaborate. I checked the rear myself come to find out my push rod was 1/4 inch past the "out of service" legal limit. This compared to the front pushrod, had my front brakes doing majority of the work, it was likely root problem. I only brought this to a dealer despite knowing it had a more expensive price tag, because I " knew he would get done right". Unfortunately, I was proven wrong.

After two weeks and $3000, they had taken some play out of the drive shaft(with a shim), fixed the wiper switch(contacts were dirty), and repaired a wheel seal. I'm not sure if I will bring the truck back to this shop because of how long it took. Time is money and with the truck being down that long during fire season, I lost revenue. There is a driver lounge with vending machines and ice, which is great for minor repairs that can be done in a short amount of time. For a shop that is open 13 hours a day, I guess I expected the job to be completed quicker. There are other things that needed to be fixed and I just couldn't wait any longer because the truck was reordered for the same fire that we brought it in from. I would expect to give more stars had the repairs been done sooner.
