I really miss how this place used to be run with the old owners. (shout out to Andrew and Vanessa, they were amazing) i had an appointment today but they started 15 minutes late. that's fine. my dip manicure was okay for the most part, but someone else had to completely re do the top coat at the end, because it was bumpy and uneven and looked like i painted it myself with a goopy top coat. i was moved around a lot. i would sit in a chair and then someone would say wait come sit over here. it was just kind of odd. my pedicure involved ice cold water, cuticles untouched, and still calluses on my feet but i paid for that service. i was never asked what shape i prefer my toenails so they are pretty square. not a huge fan of that. i tried a few times giving this place a shot with the new owners but i just don't plan on returning again. read more

I'm adding a star because I came back yesterday and asked for my money back. They wanted to fix my nails and they were very adamant about not refunding me, however after standing my ground I *eventually* got my money back. It took talking to multiple people as well. While this transpired, they were talking amongst themselves in their language so I'm not sure if they were talking about me in front of me or what. I still won't go back. I didn't want them to fix my nails because they should've done the service right the first time, there is no excuse for how poorly they turned out. read more

I have been going to Diamond Nails for three years. They are always friendly greeting me by name. Gentle professional with courtesy. Staff is considerate and service is with a smile. Was my first time there. I had a manicure and the young man who did it didn't know how to properly remove gel polish and he did not do a decent job putting new gel polish on my nails or shaping them. The place was hectic and chaotic. Within 24 hours after being there, I had one nail that the polish loosened and peeled off. I will never go back there again. read more

I want to give constructive feedback because I really really loved this place!! I hope to see growth and new transformation based on this feedback because I do believe the owner has great intentions. I am not sure what changed/happened in the past few months that caused a crash in the services and vibe :(...but I hope you can rebuild immediately and get back to being a really amazing place again. Manager: First off, the manger ( not sure of her name) is amazing, kind, and always friendly-- I appreciate this. You've always greeted me with warmth. Technicians:Amy and David are the bomb!! They continue to be great and just perfect in their skills. That being said, when we haven't been able to get them, literally everyone else rushed the pedicure ( polish was all over our feet), we're extremely rough (hurt us), we're not friendly and just didn't take pride in their work. Recommendations - if you don't already, make these two "lead" techs and have retraining/re-educate . Create a growth ladder. Facilities : It's a gorgeous place, so will benefit from extra love. The area has been on the dirty end lately and the bathrooms were rough. If you don't have a cleaning person, maybe come together as a team and divide responsibilities. Services: loved the pedi service options and wine inclusion! I went so often that I assumed the point rewards would kick-in but it always stayed at 3 points. Maybe a tech glitch? Not sure. Let me just start out by saying I used to LOVE Diamond Nails. They were always pleasant, clean, and did a great job. That was in the beginning... Since they've become increasingly more popular, the nail technicians are super crabby and rude! If you are not a regular they hardly say anything to you, often times not even greeting customers - they just sit down and get to work as if you aren't even there, but if you are a regular be prepared for them to force you into a color THEY like, not what YOU like. They still do a good job despite the unpleasant attitudes of the staff although they definitely rush through the process. I will soon be exploring other nail salons in the area due to my SNS only lasting one week before the top coat chips off (has happened all of the 3 times I got it after switching over from gel). I'm also very sick of them scoffing and very apparently talking about me in their language right in front of my face. Sad to see it have gone way down hill read more

I got my Gel manicure on a Thursday. I wanted my nails white. By Sunday my nails changed an ugly pale peachy color. By Monday two nails chipped. I did get my nails painted white but I've gotten the same service at another shop and asked for white nails and they NEVER stained or wore down. I only got those redone because my nails were growing. I called and asked if this nail salon did acrylics on the toenail. The lady over the phone told me yes. I also asked the person do I need to make an appointment or can I just come in, the lady on the phone told me I can do whichever one I prefer so I did not make an appointment. I get to the shop and they tell me that they don't do acrylics on the toe but they told me to wait a minute and they'll be right with me. Then a man came out and told me that I called and asked for pricing and did not make an appointment and the salon is appointment only. Please Have informative people answering the phones. I was a decade long client of Diamond Nails, and when Vanessa and Andrew owned it, things were great. Now, with the new ownership and not one prior employee left, it's horrible. It's absolutely filthy, and they are not sterilizing the metal tools. I have seen them use them from one client to another with no cleaning. They are also buying inferior supplies and the services are fewer or shorter. I used to look forward to my appointment here every two weeks - the people were so nice and the quality top notch. I was able to get an appointment the same day that I called. The woman on the phone was nice, and I think she was also the one who did my nails. They look beautiful, and she did exactly what I asked, including finding the color I was looking for, but couldn't find. I misunderstood what I needed for my appointment, and she was able to clarify the difference between shellac and gel. She even told me what I needed to say for my next appointment. She did answer the work phone often, but I was okay with that because they seemed busy, and I wasn't in a hurry. I did have a problem with her using her personal cell phone. She would stop in the middle of what she was doing with me, and pick up her personal cell phone. It looked like she was texting and bidding (or betting?) on something. That bothered me a lot after the first few times. I was very happy with my nails, but if I find a place that has better customer service and has better prices, I'll be going there instead. read more

I've always loved coming to Diamond Nails. The girls are always friendly, and they do a wonderful job on pedicures and manicures.

I used to diamond all the time when venessa and Andrew had it. I switched to Oshkosh nails for a while. They other day I wanted a pedicure and Oshkosh nails was busy so I went to diamond. I was so disappointed. The girl that did my pedicure was really good. Then when I went to the mail side I was so grossed out. It was filthy. The mirriors were dirty the garbage was over flowing there was so much nai dust on the floor it was actually slippery. Vicki is the one who did my manicure. Worst I ever had didn't trim my cuticles no lotion or message. She never changed the towel from the last persons fingernails were laying there. The little black pad that you rest your wrists on were gross so dirty. They didn't ace a nail dryer for your feet or hands. Today my nail chipped already and I had them done yesterday. My friend had come here yesterday. She had scheduled an appointment for a set of acrylics the person who did her nails did the dip nails. She said that she didn't want dip she wanted acrylic and he said "it's the same thing." The design she had wanted was also simple and she said if you don't think you can do it we can do a solid color. He said he could do it and then proceeded to mess it up. I came back with her today to get it fixed by the owner. I had scheduled an appointment for myself hoping to have a good experience based on the other reviews. I was sat with the same man who messed my friends nails up yesterday, so I asked for someone else. I was given a different man who was very rough. He cut the nails way shorter than I had asked. They were crooked. I asked him to fix a couple of the tips because they were crooked. When he applied the acrylic powder it was all over my finger tips and the nails were bending backwards. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and let him file them to see if that would help. It didn't, it made it worse. So for the first time ever in my life, I asked a nail tech to take them off. He took them off roughly and was filing them down and chunks of the nails were flying at my face and getting in my hair. My nails look far worse than when I came in; I am not impressed. read more

Best pedicure I have ever had. I have awful calluses due to steel toed shoes and not only did my pedicurist take care of the calluses she also took care of the two ingrown toenails that I had. She gave me a thorough leg massage which was awesome. My pedicure treatment included the standard items plus hot towel, paraffin treatment, multiple massages, and a glass of wine (normally it includes a margarita but they were willing to change that for me.) My pedicurist was also polite and kind - I have difficulty hearing - she didn't get frustrated with me when I couldn't hear what she was asking me to do, she just waited patiently or asked again if needed. The price was a bit more than I usually pay at a little over $50 but well worth the money. As an aside I was quite appreciative of the fact that no one critiqued my unshaven legs which is something that I run into at a lot of salons. read more

A couple of the nail technicians are very good (Vanessa and Kayla); however, there are a few on the staff who give horrible manis and pedis. I often have rude/unfriendly responses on the phone when making an appointment. The entire staff tends to be condescending and have a "know it all" attitude - it's really not a relaxing, stress-free environment one appreciates when spending money on a mani or pedi. I've used Diamond Nails for a couple of years but as the experiences lately have tended to be more negative than positive, I'll be looking for a new salon. read more

I have seen a steady, steady decline in the employees of this "salon", I have watched pedi tubs simply get sprayed out (NOT sanitized) and illegal tools be used. Today was my first visit at diamond nails. I called, they were able to get me in that day. The woman who answered was very pleasant on the phone and very easy to understand. I as well as every customer was greeted upon entering the door. The nail tech never introduced herself by name, however I'm pretty confident that it was the same girl that took my phone call. I've given this salon a fair shake by trying it about 5 or 6 times. I have always had good success with the pedi's, but not my acrylic fills. Brenda is the tech who did my fill most often and I have honestly never been treated more rudely at a salon. She uses her cell whenever she feels like it, keeps you waiting if she has somebody to text etc. She is rough while handling my nails and yawns excessively, as if she's bored that I am there. The last time I was there, I had a tech I've never had before. He informed me that in no way should I be using hand lotion prior to a fill as it'll cause lifting to my nails. I am 52 years old and my hands look as if I'm 80 already. There is no way I could not have lotion on my hands and I lotion my entire body after showering daily. It would have been better if he'd simply asked me to wash my hands before my fill. Previously I was a long-time customer at a great salon prior to my move to the Oshkosh area, but I will have to continue to try to find my permanent salon as this most definitely isn't it. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible place. Very, very, very rude! The lady who did my pedicure was very nice. Sat down to get dips and had to tell guy to take his attitude down a few pegs. He got hostile and said he wouldn't do my nails. Oh darn! He went to some woman who also started to berate me on his behalf. It must have been his Mom. Owner said I needed to respect this guy. I went here with some of my girlfriends for mani and pedi they did great on my feet it was amazing but when it came to my finger nails it was horrible! I showed them what designs i wanted and it was nothing like that at all! I told the owner this is not what i had wanted and he sent me back and all she did was add purple and it looked like my 2 yr old did it! Never going here ever again!
