I went to Le Nails & Spa (which I believe is called Nails on 9th now) and I got the best manicure I've ever had! I had to wait a little bit since they were busy at the time I came but I was seated within 15 minutes of my appointment time. I am a registered nurse and cannot have long nails or tips because of my job. Usually I get a lot of flack from the nail techs for not wanting long nails but they gave me such an easy time here! They filed my nails to the exact shape that I wanted and they're so even all the way around, even with the dip powder! There are no lumpy areas and the nails are all an equal length. I will definitely be coming back for my next manicure! read more

It was a stressful, unpleasant visit. A worker's child there running around freely, screaming. The employees were communicating loudly in their foreign language. The music was calming and nice but YOU COULDN'T HEAR IT OVER THE NOISE. The foot and leg massage was just adequate but the removal of "roughness" on heels was inadequate. To start off, I have short nails and usually when I go place they always comment about it but this place didn't comment about it which is something I liked. I went in skeins 5:30 or so and didn't come out until 7:30. This lady prepped my nails, then this guy did my acrylics and everything, but switched me Off to this other guy (after having me wash my hands) so the other guy's customer basically switched seats with me..(weird...okay?) but when I went to this in the seat, it seemed like he didn't want to do my nails and just kept sighing (they do close at 7, and it was past 7 at this time). The lady that prepped my nails in the beginning was doing another person's nails, but I guess that person didn't like it or something so I again had to switch sweats and had the lady polish my nails. So, as I sat there, (I wanted matte nails, I told the guy in the beginning when I walked in, he says yes that's fine blah blah) I thought the guy in the beginning communicated that I wanted matte nails to the lady that was going to polish my nails, but nope. I also didn't say something bc I thought that maybe they were doing that before they mattify it...but nope. So I said something and the lady prob doesn't know English so the guy (that was fixing this other girls nails) says "next time tell her you want matte" so I said that they I thought the OTHER guy told you before sending me over to you guys..." not sure if the switching thing is always done, or what...But the guy that shaped my nail did a great job, I wish he would've been the one to finish everything instead of switching me to someone else. Overall, customer service, they are nice...I have been there once a long time ago and decided to give another shot...but it's not a place I would personally go out of my way to go here! :) read more

So good at cleanliness and they don't use the horrible grater which is a good way to get infection. The pedicure was good also.

Set up an appointment Saturday with my boyfriend and his mom for my boyfriends Birthday. Me and him got pedicures and his mom got her nails dipped. I needed one pretty bad and I'm happy with how my feet look and feel. Good service. They were very friendly and thorough. They were under staffed at first, there was only one lady there so people had to wait for more workers to come in. Wish they would have used that cheese grater looking thing because my feet are still rough. I then got acrylic nails which I am happy with. It has been 8 days and they still look good! I will not return to this salon. I had an appointment at 1:30 and arrived at 1:20. I sat there until 2:00 and decided I didn't have time to make it to my next appointment so I said I could reschedule seeing as how busy they were. The manager came over and said she could get me out of there by 2:30 which I again stated I could reschedule because I knew it wouldn't be enough time. She proceeded to due my nails, patronizing me, and finished in ten minutes. No buffing, no smoothing, just the color. They look like shit. I left a $10 tip never to return. read more

This place has changed and is now ProNails. I used to be very happy when it was Le Nails. The gentleman who appears to now be in charge is extremely unprofessional (attempting to joke with customers in a rude, inappropriate way). I've never had worse service. Repeatedly I've come here and watched them just go downhill. As a customer of them for over 8 years, I am so disappointed at how their service has declined so rapidly. Very unprofessional atmosphere. They always change their layout, frequently with construction tools laying everywhere. It's also not very clean. They also pressure you to get something other than a regular manicure, so expect some flack if you just want a regular polish. I wish I could give this place two separate ratings: one for the actual manicure and one for the service. For the actual manicure I'd give the guy a 4. For the service and everything else, I'd give it a 2.5, hence why I have settled on a 3. I walked in an asked for just a regular polish manicure - no gel, acrylic, etc. The guy at the front immediately started trying to talk me out of just getting polish. Can't stand a business that tries to up-sell you when you already came in knowing what you want. The man who did the manicure was good at what he did but extremely slow. Don't come here if you are at all in a hurry. It has been 6 days and only 2 of my nails have chipped really bad and all the rest are holding up really well so I am pleased with the end product. However, it was a struggle to get there. I told him I like my nails SUPER short and square on the top but rounded on the sides. He trimmed my nails a TINY bit and wasn't getting the shape that I wanted. I had to tell him to keep cutting them shorter like 3 times because he thought they'd look better longer. I'm sorry but I am not interested in how YOU want my nails, if I am paying to have you do them, I want them to be the shape and length that I LIKE. The guy doing the woman's nails sitting right next to me made comments about me under his breath every single time I asked the guy doing my nails to cut them more or shape them. He literally would say "wow" or "really" or things along the lines. I know I was not asking for a lot - simply for you to do my nails the way I LIKE them to be done, not how YOU think they will look best. The dish with water that he had me rest my hand in while he was working on the other hand was extremely dirty! NOT cute. This is a really hard area to find a good manicure so I would say this: if you can get past bad service and dirty products to get to what ultimately is actually a very good manicure, come here. If you can't look past those things, do not come here. read more

This family run business is a great place for a very relaxing pedicure, with over ten different bath scents to help customize your pedi for the mood you're in. I was also happy to see tools are new and they open the package in front of you. I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of hot, new colors. I picked a bright pink for summer. Worst experience I have ever had! The lady I had didn't know how to use the dip powder, even though they carried it in their salon. She sanded my nails down so they were paper thin and it hurt. In the beginning, they told me it would be $40 and in the end, they charged me $75!!!! And they looked terrible!! Had to go get them fixed at a new place. read more
