Tbh, Lori is only the 3rd person who's done my hair since 2008, and I was extremely anxious. She is a rockstar. She took the time to explain what she thought we should do and why. Additionally, she took the time to start building a relationship, which is extremely important to me as what she does with my hair is something people see until my next appointment. I showed my reference photo of the color I wanted to Ramona. She said the photo was filtered but she could do an over all color and get me close to the photo shown I had light tips and money pieces . She botched my hair , I didn't get my layers and rushed me out without giving me the chance to really see the work I get home where I could see in my mirror expecting my hair to at least be close and my heart sank. I called and they told me they'd give me a discount to come back and get my hair toned and fixed and the owner would call to schedule me an appointment. When I didn't get the call I called in myself and they called me a liar, told me I'd admitted to previously dying it myself(which I didn't), and that they weren't going to help me. I paid almost $180.00 for this and I could have gotten a 10x better job with my husband throwing Sally's box dye on my hair.

Due to Brooke departing paths with this spa I was willing to give another staff member a shot as I have always had good encounters here. I showed up for my appointment, and was told by the staff member she did not feel comfortable and would not be able to do my service. If clients are required to call 24 hours in advanced for cancellations to respect the staff members time the staff member should be able to do the same for the client. I felt as though my time was not valued by this business. I ended up going elsewhere, and will be from now on.

I woke up extremely ill: sore throat, coughing,  sneezing, fever. I called to cancel,  too sick to come in and unwilling to spread what I had to Cheryl or anyone else. Since my appointment was at 9, and they opened at 9, I called a few minutes earlier hoping to get a person, since I didn't know how quickly they check messages, and I didn't want anyone wondering why I hadn't showed. The receptionist was beyond rude, saying she couldn't understand why I didn't call earlier than 5 minutes before my appointment since they had a 24 hour cancelation policy. I pointed out I hadn't planned on being sick so couldn't have called 24 hours in advance,  and called as early as I thought I could given my appointment was at 9, and they open at 9. She then went on to say I should have called earlier and left a message or texted because the owner always checks messages and they could have gotten other people in because there were a lot of people waitlisted. She had the snottiest tone in this 3 minute phone call where she fought with someone who was clearly sick.  I told her I was so upset with how she treated me,  didn't appreciate it,  was offended,  and wouldn't be coming back.  She just hung up on me.  I reached out to the owner,  who according to this receptionist,  is constantly checking messages but it's been crickets. For all of you who came after 9 who would have been exposed to a nasty bug if I would have come,  just know they apparently would rather I have kept the appointment than worry about your health.
