This place does not even deserve a star. I got acrylic nails . Not even 2 days one nail cracked all the way to root and second nail broke from the tip. Unacceptable . Once I discovered the place (recommended by a hair stylist friend) I've gone religiously ever 2-3 weeks for pedicures. There is no need to leave town for a good pedicure anymore. My toes always look great, and I can sometimes stretch them longer than 3 weeks. The staff is really sweet, and they spend a few extra minutes on the leg rub. I've only had to wait more than 10 minutes once (which was a loooong wait, but I suspect it there was high school event that day). Oh, and great value. read more

I have been happy with Diamond Nails because I don't think I have ever had to wait to be served and like being spontaneous. Price is fair, staff is friendly, and salon is clean and attractive. Granted not all the staff are of the same calaber, but all in all worth going if you like to just go in off the street. read more

Just got my nails done here on 8/13/2021. I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure. The lady that did my feet was good. But there is some over painted parts that go up onto the skin. The lady that did my finger nails was awful, she was wearing an orange dress that day. She was more interested talking to her friends than doing her job and paying attention to what she was doing. She was filling my nails and mostly touching my skin, not my nails. She rushed through it and barley cut away the dead skin on my cuticles. After buffing my nails she did not wipe away the white ash stuff, she just painted right over it. As she was painting my nails she got nail polish all over my skin and I didn't notice until after she was done. I have a gel set at home to do my own and I would have done a better job myself for free than she did. Cost me $70 for the Mani and Pedi. Not worth it and over priced for the job they do. NEVER going back there again. Not to mention they nicked my sisters skin during her pedicure too! read more

It was an ok experience. I am pleased with my shellac manicure. The woman was very careful and detailed. Like most nail shops the customer service is a little odd and erratic. I will go back since my shellac was done well. Another plus is they will try to do nail designs for you. I had an idea for a pedicure paint job and they tried it. It came out pretty nice. read more

So I usually go to Berkeley but i was tired from a long work week. I found this place on yelp and got excited because it's extremely close to my house, was the same price as the place I usually go and had some decent reviews. But I will definitely not be going back. The lady who helped me was a sweet hart, very nice. The atmosphere wasn't the problem. I always get a gel manicure so I'm familiar with about how long it should take. She finished my nails verry quickly and i didn't think much about it. At first glance and with being extremely tired I thought they looked good. Untill i got home! My nails were not filed well, i had to file them again when I got home. The cuticle area was messy, not that well cleaned. It looked like i did the job myself. In all fairness I should have taken a better look before I left but I didn't. The biggest reason why I will not return is that, i only had my nails done for a week and the gel started pealing, it started getting discoloration spots all over and what looked like air bubbles in the gel. Super bummed, I thought I had found a good place close to home. Guess the search continues. read more

The lady made my nail bleed and the blood was dripping down my finger. We were walk ins and our service was so bad. My sister was waiting to get her nails done and two other people walk in without an appointment and get their nails done before my sister. I do not recommend this place. read more

Only went here because my wedding was in hayward. Felt customer service was lacking. A lot of the women are rude and get mad if I ask them to repeat what they said because I have bad hearing and its loud in there. Two workers were literally whispering in each others ears and laughing in front of me and anouther woman. Secondly the quality is horrid! My normal nail salon my full set still looks decent after 4 weeks and are strong and perfect. Here it was rushed, flimsy and didn't push my cuticles back so there was a huge gap by day 2. 1 week exactly and one of the loose nails break in half bruising my finger and the nails just look crappy for only being a week old. Pedicure was OK but the polish wasn't put on well because it was missing in some places. Expensive for shitty work. Do not waste your money! read more

I would NOT recommend to come here. I made an appointment to get a pedicure done. And yes they have the liner and are sanitary but they were all rushing to get my toes done. They dont clean ur nails right and when they paint ur nails they dont do a good job. They dont even bother to clean up and polish that gets on ur skin. I have a nail biting problem and wanted to get a set of acrylics so they actually look nice for some events I'll be attending. I came here after being turned away from Nail Salon on Center St. because they were too busy (and much smaller). Linda took me right away and did a great job. I kept asking her to make the nails shorter, since I'm not used to long nails, but she reassured me they would get shorter as she kept filing the acrylic. She does a good job of filing the acrylic down so it doesn't look thick or unnatural. They use a rotary tool for filing, which I wasn't used to, but its definitely effective. The pedicure chairs were definitely full all Saturday afternoon, and they seemed to have a lot of regulars. They don't have a hostess, so Linda was frequently greeting people or having to answer the phone for those scheduling appointments. I didn't really mind though as I wasn't in a rush. I don't usually treat myself to a mani or pedi that often, but it would be worth coming back here. read more

Convenient location. The owner has done a lovely job with remodeling and purchasing new massage chairs. You never have to wait long. It's very clean and sterile. All the women who work there are very nice. They always make me feel welcome. Is it the "best" pedicure I've ever had? Been to this place a couple times and always liked it. But this last time will be the last, I called to ask if they had any appointments available and they gave me a time to go in. 1. came in with a picture of a desired design but she made it seem so difficult and seemed annoyed that I asked and i opted out for ombré instead 2. The tech ignored my request to shorten my nails, was rough while filing and cleaning my under nail (which now ache) 3. She left once finished applying the top coat to attend another customer and told me do it a couple more times and then forgot about me for a while 4. The lady that did my pedicure was very lazy in doing the whole thing and my toes are painted a little off, thankfully it's still cold out 5. When paying I gave my card and she gave me the receipt to sign, holding my card, she kept pointing to tip, I just signed and she asked again to put a tip which I said no. She then asked if I was giving cash for tip I said no sorry holding my hand out asking for my card. She asked again how much I was tipping like ??? She dead a** looked me in the eye with anger hesitating to give me my card back. If the customer service and work was better I would definitely have tipped. read more

I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review. This place did the worst shellac manicure I've ever had. I asked for a light pink with red tips and first she charged me per nail for the red tip without telling me/warning me first. Then when I left I realized the pink was so thin it looked like it was different colors and it looked super nasty and dirty. The next day I went back and told her about it and she said she'd fix it. I told her I didn't need anything fancy even but if she could just put an even color on that'd be great. Well, I guess she was annoyed that I came back cause when she started doing my nails she was filing so rough with the electric filer that it started to burn me and she kept getting my skin (which left a couple cuts). Then as she's finishing the last coat she tells me it's not her fault that some of the nail polishes are like that and that even the one I picked was like that. (Which it was but at least not as bad as the first.) I told her it would have been nice to know that before I got the polish and she just ignored my comment. As she finishes I look at them and she says "Better? It better be cause I don't want to see you come back again." Dang. Not even polite about her cruddy job/nail polish. Now it's 2 days later and my polish is already peeling and chipping. So frustrating. Not good service in any way. I won't be going back. read more

Got a pedicure with my sister in law this past Sunday afternoon. Good chairs and Sandy gave me some fantastic feet and a really nice leg massage with warm towel wrap. Sis was less happy with hers. Good polish selection. Very nice atmosphere, spacious. Over all, not bad for $20. read more

I let them know I wasn't happy then they want to speak their foreign language to each other, they are very rude.Changes need to be made on their scheduling, consideration on wait time for appointment is uncalled for and rude.
