I went in to get my nails done with the inspo pic. I was adamant that I did not want to use the pink and white base but wanted a nude color. The nail tech Mary told me that they did not have "nude" which was odd to me considering I saw several nude colored dip powders behind her. She then proceeded to dip my nails 8 times in the pink base until it turned bubblegum. I tried to suggest she file down and switch to a more natural base but she then proceeded to add the natural base (which really was just white by my guess) on top of it. When she filed down to do the finishing parts of the nail after my 12 layer dipped nails, it turned into this odd bubble gum and white tie dye look. It might be a vibe for some but it was not it for me. I finally just asked her to put a deep Christmas red on my nails (which she tried for 10 minutes to talk me out of the red I chose saying I needed bright, again bright colors are not my vibe). I have been getting my nails dipped for years but Mary proceeded to tell me with dipped nails they cannot be "thin" which I know to be a lie as I have had them thin for most of the time. I ended up with bright red jelly beans on my nails that literally hurt from the weight of them. I ended up having to go back the next day to pay for a soak off and new full set. They tried to have Mary correct my nails but I was able to get Megan to do them again, she did better but still didn't take much of what I said into consideration & they started lifting from Megan a week after completed. I will say that my stepdaughter got hers done by Tre and he did a great job on her and actually listened.

I went there with a picture of theses nails I wanted, not knowing if they even did ombré or not.Went on a Thursday around 4:20 p.m. they got me in and got me out fast.Usually nails take forever but not this time also they were really affordable originally 48.But I got diamond studs so that added a extra 15. Also got my eyebrows done so all together I paid 68.But IM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with my nails & brows. -Most definitely will be my GO TO nail place from now on!!

So far sooo...... hurry up and wait. I'm the 5th person on the list and i signed in at 12:52pm its now 1:40 & im still waiting. People are walking out because its taking too long. This is like going in a hood beauty salon.. no matter if your appointment time is at 11am your not getting in the chair till 3pm. Thats how i feel right about now. 6 technicians 3 have been getting pedicures since before i walked in and the others are doing full sets with acrylic. All i want is a mani, pedi. Looks like I may have to walk out like the others if I'm not called soon. The tip is out the window at this point. Its now 2:02 I'm finally called back. Hell I felt like a contestant on a game show getting called back I thought I won something. Then she tells me to put my foot in the water it was too damn hot!!! "What is this setting on!?" "Are you cooking neckbones Omg!?" She says try it again so i do it was still hot Like at this point i just will get a pedicure and thats it. This is rediculas Would I recommend this establishment..... No.. well not after I shared my experiences . They can do what they want after that. Would i come back to this establishment. Hell Nooo I hope this review was helpful and I hope your day is going well. Because I'm beyondfrustrated. SYOY

    Bubbling Gel

I just left the salon today 03/09 having to have my gel taken off that I got 5 days ago because it wasn't properly cured and started to bubble underneath and then eventually peel off. As I had my nails prepped, the beds of my nails were extremely sensitive and burning. This is because when I had gone to the salon on Saturday to get my acrylics off and gel put on, the lady who did them (I think her name is Mai) used a tip to pry the acrylics off of my nails. There was no lifting on the acrylics, she just pried them off. Because of the sensitivity, I decided I didn't want more gel and to just get my money back. They told me I could get more gel or nothing. If I felt like my nails could take it, I would have, but they compromised my nails so badly I can still feel the sensitivity sitting in the car. This was the second time my gel hasn't properly cured and peeled off and the second time I had to get them fixed. According to the lady, if you don't want your nails pried off you have to request them to soak it.

I usually always depend on diamond nails to get my nails done. my friends and I went in at 1:45 and expected to get out by at least 3:00 but we didnt leave until 3:15. I had SNS from a previous nail trip in my hometown of chamblee (if youre in atlanta please go check out Luxury Nail Bar and ask for Nessa shes amazing and way better than anyone you'll find here) and I specifically asked for an SNS take off with a REGULAR POLISH MANICURE. the man who is apparently the manager did my nails and did a terrible job. didnt cut my nails until I asked and he left one uncut, didnt give me any nail oil, my cuticles were flooded with polish and when I complained they were incredibly rude to me and said that I didnt ask for a manicure when I did. I called after I left to speak to the manager and he was incredibly rude to me and talked over me. the way he made it seem was that because i didnt say i wanted a manicure (which i did) i basically deserved a terrible nail polish change. so please, do yourself a favor and skip this establishment. theyre terrible and dont care about customer satisfaction

I love the pedicures with the hot rocks and hot towels. My feet and legs feel so good for days after I leave there.

I was looking for a new nail salon and MiMi had good reviews…read moreso I made an appointment I'm glad I did. I was greeted by a funny guy named Nguyen ("Win"), had a very professional pedicure and excellent manicure and dip by MiMi herself. I am definitely going back.

I was a new customer to Mimi's nail salon. I am visiting St. Simon Island for the weekend. I found…read morethe salon through Google. The reviews and photos were decent. The staff was pleasant. I like that they pedicure stations were on display for you to choose. I requested a dip manicure and lavendar pedicure. I sat at station 5. The woman who did my pedicure soak was wonderful. I only asked her not to pull my nail cuticle as she cleaned. I had a bad skin tear a couple of years ago from a technician pulling because the skin was softened due to soaking. She gave a good massage. My selected gel color was bought over. I requested milk white polish and lavender French tips. She got up and left before I could tip her and young girl came and started painting my toes. She started painting my toes lavender. I explained what I wanted because she didn't ask. She corrected her error. A gentleman came over to soak the dip powder off my nails. He was careful as my nail length is natural. He finished and another man took over. The 2nd man kept trying to cut my nails I repeatedly told him no. She dipped my nails but never filled them. He got up and the young girl took his seat. I showed both of them including Will pictures of the French manicure design that I wanted. Mimi said that she could do it. She did one nail at a time and put the top coat each nail as she completed them one at a time. She made errors but attempted to fix them. I have dip powder caked up along my cuticle because my nails weren't properly filed and top coat and white design paint still on my cuticles on my toes and finger nails. I had to request cuticle oil and lotion and acetone to clean the excessive off my fingers. The young girl is sweet but she nor the gentleman who dipped my nails knew what they were doing. Mimi looked over and attempted to guide them. The design that I requested was done but the foundation and sculpting look awful. This won't last. The powder is going to lift because it's on my skin. I asked for a total for my services 4 times. Will wrote out one amount for $140.00. Mimi, the owner closed me out and wrote another post it with the following amounts: I requested a dip manicure ($55.00) with a lavender and white French manicure ($10.00), one chrome nail on the index finger, and a silver line on 8 nails, ($15.00), almond shape that they didn't do or file was ($5.00), and a lavender pedicure ($55.00) with a white/lavender French pedicure. ($10.00), removal of old gel polish ($10.00) Totaling $160.00. I paid and left. Mimi your salons name is on my nails. I posted a picture of my nails below before they soaked them.
