Extremely unprofessional. Arrogant and rude. Spoke Vietnamese to each other the entire time I was there, which was rude. Never spoke to me. Person did a horrible job on my pedi. Did not even cut my cuticles but still charged full price for service. Polish was thick and gooey and had to add extender twice. Upon completion, she packed her caddy and without even looking in my direction walked away. Never even said thank you. She was rude arrogant rough with her hands and demeanor and provided less than average service. The lady who did my fill and gel polish was not much better. Find some place else to do your nails. They pretend to be nice when people walk in the door but they are not nice or pleasant and treat people poorly. Surprised they are still in business. Find a better place to do your hands and pedi. I tried this nail salon not really knowing what to expect. It was theeee worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. The pedicure was average, the manicure was horrible. It was rushed and not neat. I asked to have one more coat of polish applied to my nails so they'd better match my toes and they wouldn't. I also have nail polish on my skin and cuticles. When I paid $70, they had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip!?!? Ummm no m'am! I hope this review saves someone else from wasting their money. read more

I went in today with my mom for a mother daughter date. We were seated rather quickly. The lady working on my pedicure did not speak much English but we figured it out. She was sweet and did a good job. However, I noticed when she drained the tub, she added a new liner but never once sprayed it to sanitize it. The older woman working on my manicure was very rude. The massage chair stopped while my nails were soaking so I readjusted it. Just as I got it where I wanted it, she pulled the remote from me and turned it off. They asked me what colors I wanted and I tried to explain I wanted just the teal on my toes, and the teal with a glitter gold accent nail on my hands. Her and two other individuals began to talk about me in their language. Later, when I asked for a third coat of glitter to make it pop more, she initially told me "No more" but I told her I was only asking for one more coat and she sighed but did it anyway. She got the gel polish around my fingernails and used her fingernail to clean it but there are still streaks of teal and glitter around my nails. I did not feel comfortable asking her to clean it up because she was already having an attitude with me for asking her to do the job she was being paid a lot to do. When she finished, she told me to wash my hands. I thought she said "wipe" so I clarified where she wanted me to wipe my hands as I have never heard of this being done after a manicure. She pointed to the sinks and snapped, "there!" I asked, "By the towels?" She said, "Yesss!" Still confused, I walked to the sinks before realizing what she was saying. I tried this place out a couple weeks ago and have yet to return due to crappy rushed service. Firstly, Brunswick has many nail salons and since my stay I have yet to find a all around spot to make my favorite. When I went here with a friend, we were one of the 5 people in the salon. We weren't greeted very nicely and had to wait a long time to even get started despite how slow they were. I felt horrible for an elderly couple who were sitting in the pedicure station for about 45 minutes just waiting for service. I don't mind waiting but I think we should be warned of wait times so one doesn't just sit there twiddling their thumbs hoping to get acknowledged. The lady who did my pedicure was okay, she did a decent job but she just seemed to be going through the motions. Once thing I've noticed about salons in this area is the fact that they seem to rush manicures while you are still getting your pedicure done, so one of the guys who was working started on my hands without soaking them and put them in the hand warmers with some lotion. I was in the mittens for about 25 minutes and I finally took them off because they were too hot. When it came down to pairing my nails the lady said that the color scheme I wanted couldn't be done ( I wanted two colors on my toes, and one solid color on the rest) so I said to forget it and I'd do it myself when I got home, so she quickly changed her mind and did it anyway. Rude. The man doing my hands finally got to me and kept complaining about how short my nails were and I said that's how I wanted them. Whilst all this was happening my friend just waited and waited. If I could leave a negative star I would. I've been here quite a few times and it's always a hit or miss depending on who you get. Well, this last time will be my last time. Not only did they not give my sweet grandmother what she asked for (basic pedi) they laughed in her face and treated her so poorly. She was with my aunt, and the lady who did her pedicure messed up the polish on one of her toes. My aunt asked her to fix it politely and the lady ripped the toe separator off her feet and started talking about her to the other lady. Every color they picked the nail ladies told them "we don't have that color". My grandmother had to ask multiple times for things that should have been given in the basic pedicure and the lady would not do it. They then went to pay and my grandmother had a gift card in which we knew had money on it because I bought it for her as a gift. The nail lady swiped the card and waited a few minutes and proceeded to tell her there was no money on the gift card and she had to pay out of pocket. After arguing back and forth, we just paid and decided to leave. $60 down the drain. Worst nail salon in Brunswick in my opinion. And I've heard multiple others say they have done the same thing to them with the gift cards.... They are so rude and do not care about their customers at all. Yuck. I just moved here from New York and I wanted to continue my bi weekly gel fill ins. Major language barrier, which no doubt I can deal with but after a couple times returning there has only been ONCE that my service was sufficient. Sloppy work and they don't listen to you...And many times try to argue and charge you ridiculous prices for situations where they messed up. so many other places around to get your nails done. Fast but gross. Dead bug in the pedicure water, mold on the bottom of the water bowl for the manicure, poor sanitation of the tools- took the toe separators from between my toes and instead of throwing them away put them back into the drawer. read more

Horrible service and over priced! As a special birthday gift for my daughter I took her and a friend to lanch and to have their nails painted. How convenient this salon was right beside the restaurant. We were greated by a gentleman who was insistant we pick polish colors before telling him what we wanted. I wanted a full set of solar nails while the girls wanted their nails painted with designs. He chose to so me first, leaving two girls (10&11) to pick out their own polish colors and try to explain what they wanted. I ended up with a full set of ACRYLIC nails with gel polish on them. When I reminded him I wanted solar his response was "this is better". My daughter wanted polka dots and ended up with black nails with pink bows, which were damaged before she left the salon and remove promptly when returning home. Her friend was intimated and only picked one color, so she has a beautiful solid color on her nails. $60 and no one out of the three of us are satisfied. read more

Disappointed doesn't even begin. I went in yesterday for a pedicure and what I received was a hack job. My technician never spoke a word to me. She stopped many times to respond to text messages and answer personal phone calls. She charged me for the most expensive pedicure when I only wanted the basic one. She also cut my nails so short and rounded the sides so deep I'm sure they will all become ingrown. Also the very simple design I asked for was rushed and sloppy. Stopped in here for gel mani and pedi while visiting family. Pedi was average. Mani/gel was horrible to put it nicely. Cuticles weren't cut, nails weren't shaped, surface was bumpy and wavy, and paint wasn't close to covering my entire nails (bottom and sides exposed). Came back home only have to have my regular tech redo them. They didn't even remove old gel properly. Save yourself the headache and find another salon. 0 stars! read more

Looks like a an 8 year old did my nails. I went in today for a mani/pedi and I believe Krissy did my nails I'm not sure she never said her name but I believe that was what was written on her nail kit. She was the only one who had her hair down and her hair mixed into the polish and on my hands. I have tiny streaks of polish on my skin around the nails and on my fingers. I have never seen a nail tach actually paint a nail - see an issue - then take her nail and take off the middle part of the polish and attempt to paint over - my nails look awful! As soon as she finished the mani she turned the light off and directed me to the fan. Another customer came in and within lesss than a minute of completing the mani she tried to put my right flip flop on my left foot smearing my big toe ( which I didn't see until I was gone) she directed me from the chair and when I asked where to dry my mani she told me "No place be careful." Too bad I'd already paid and tipped. It wasn't until I was in the sunlight that I saw how bad it truly was I hope I can add pictures to this. Stay far away! ABSOLUTELY ZERO STARS! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS! Please go somewhere else. I usually dont write reviews but i had to on this one. This nail shop was horrible! I mean ATROCIOUS! I came down with my best friend for her wedding & we spent $300 and were charged twice. The owner is extremely rude. He was not accommodating at all and yelled at us for showing him a bank statement from the bank proving the double charge. Not only this, they were not willing to call their bank and check for us unto we called the police on them. THESE PEOPLE STEAL!! They are extremely over priced. My $50 french manicure (that was extremely mediocre by the way) chipped after one day and they were not even willing to fix this. They lack total and complete customer service skills and should not be trusted. read more

Worst nail job I've ever had! It looks like I have animal claws as fingernails instead of human nails! I asked for a brown they gave me purple!! When I asked them to please change the color the guy informed me that I had to pay double to have my color changed and I told him either change my color or I will not pay because I have to pay someone else to fix them if you do not! He said he was going to call 911 on me I told him go ahead call 911 I will wait for them to arrive! My daughter had her nails done as well and they were so thick it looked like there was bubblegum stuck to her fingernails!! The lady did however fix my daughters nails but they refused to fix mine! I paid for my daughter's nails but I did not pay for mine!! Please do not go to this place they are horrible and rude! I didn't get rude until the man started yelling and screaming at me! The man took a photo of me and a photo of my license plate and told me not to come back!! Ha like I would!!!!! I hope he does call the police because I can't wait to talk to them!!!!! read more
