However, I started to notice that more and more lash extensions had to be glued to my lid and that my natural eyelashes were becoming sparse. People started commenting on how they were blue, which bugged me as well. I decided to take a break to see what the damage truly was. It has not been pretty. My lashes are so short and sparse. Maybe this is just a part of getting lash extensions? Something that comes with the territory? Maybe they'll grow back and fill in and be just fine? I know that if you over pluck your eyebrows, at some point they don't grow back. I can imagine eyelashes are the same. I don't even want to share the pic because it's embarrassing but I feel like I need to. I've been doing some research and the best lash places make sure to have lashes of different weights and lengths depending on the natural lash they're being applied to. Bunching multiple lashes together with glue, using dynamic lashes, and lashes that are too heavy for the natural lash will cause loss and damage. I've been making it work and getting by okay while they've been growing back the past few weeks but it's been pretty slow and traumatic for me. Eyelash extensions are so fun and easy and addicting. I just can't imagine how my naturals would look in 2, 3,4,5 ..10 years it's SCARY! Again, I really love Lindsey and if I wasn't afraid of the long term effects, I'd absolutely continue to see her.

The entire interaction was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I expect basic professionalism, especially when paying for a service. The gel polish was applied evenly and there were no bubbles or unevenness which I appreciate--being picky with my nails. The salon itself was very clean and spacious, with many spa chairs for pedicures and manicure tables. I paid a total of $51 ($40 for gel mani, $10 soak off--with service, and $6 tip but 10% off when you pay cash) which is quite reasonable compared to other places anywhere in the bay.
