Our property is in a flood plain and routinely wet. We immediately called WWD knowing they have experience with building docks and what the best course of cation and material would be for this wetter area. In 5 days, they removed and replaced each post without disturbing the 2 tiers of cover and dismantling and rebuilding the wide stairs and ramp, integrating it all seamlessly like it was always there. They even brought the concrete bases above grade so the chewer is deterred! They were timely, efficient, respectful and neat on the jobsite! Another job well done! Thank you!

I want to share my experience with Greg at Woody WoodDeckers…read more Based on recommendations from neighborhood FB page I contacted him about doing a small wooden deck. He responded to my request quickly, arrived on time, listened to my concerns & explained the products & methods they use. Then the most amazing thing happened. He told me a concrete slab would work better, last longer due to drainage issues and be cheaper! He even gave me the information to contact someone he works with. It's not often you meet a man who will walk away from the dollars because he has integrity & morals. Greg is one of the few. Woody WoodDeckers, 832-641-1101

I received a flyer about Lonestar Arbor Systems and decided to check with them on removing some…read morepesky branches of a deciduous tree in my front yard (with those branches close to touching the roof). Javier came by and gave me an estimate that I considered very reasonable. He told me he would contact me with information about his return to do the trimming. Two days ago, while taking my wife to two separate doctor appointments, I received a text telling me that Lonestar would be on site that day. I called the phone number on the flyer only to find there was no inbox into which I could explain the conflict. About 2 hours later, I received a call explaining that Lonestar would work something out. About 20 minutes later, my doorbell camera showed a big truck with lots of equipment and several workers in my front yard (kinda freaked me out - figuring I'd have to pay extra to have them return!). Later that day, I returned home to see that not only had they trimmed the branches, but the crew completely swept all of the sawdust and cuttings off my driveway and front yard, but they also blew off all of the pine straw (and I have a BUNCH of it for about 8 months out of the year!) off my driveway and concrete walk to my front door. Not only did I NOT have a bunch of stuff to clean up, but the crew had cleaned up my front yard. WOW, what service...and without my even paying them! Kudos to Javier and his crew - I just handed him a check for the work. I was pleasantly surprised that Lonestar trusted me enough to do the work without immediate payment. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys.

It's clear they did not care about clean up. But for price I won't complain much on that. Now the part of service to why 2.5 stars. Great communication upfront and to date of tree service. During trimming I kept trying to have workers do what I asked originally but they didn't speak English and I'm not good at Spanish. So I called the owner he didn't answer. I text to ask him to correct and no answer. During the call for payment I asked about correcting and he said yes they can come back again and correct. Well that was July 3rd and as of now Aug 6, atill have not heard a peep from the owner. Sad business model from this company as I did see a few reviews prior to hiring them that they did stop responding. I didn't think that was going to be me. Sadly I would not recommend this company even though work was halfway decent for price. Look elsewhere for your tree trimming needs.

They didn't just give us a fair price -- they gave us the BEST price we found anywhere, and the quality of their work and materials was unbelievable for what we paid. That level of care and preparation shows how well this company operates from the ground up.

Caution! I used River Weghorst (EON, River Ridge Concrete, Metro Concrete Raising, etc.) services…read moreto create a new patio, using stamped and stained concrete. Unfortunately the stain did not set correctly and the material quickly faded/washed away. River had mentioned this could happen, but then took a month to return any calls, texts, or messages (partially due to a family tragedy). While I was okay with being patient for him to correct his work, I was bothered by the company's decision to: remove, block and hide reviews; disable social media views, take down company websites, and re-post older jobs to make his company look better (River told us his marketing manager did that); rather than make an effort to return a phone call of a dissatisfied customer. I wish I could be leaving a better review, as I believe this could be a good company if they just made better business choices. As predicted, his offer to make it right was just a bluff to get me to remove the reviews he did not have access to blocking. I will need to hire someone else to re-do the job and basically wasted my money the first time....Please don't make the same mistake. P.S. Google the names of the positive reviews - They are family members and other landscaping companies that River has returned the favor for! (Clever move... unless you have a unique first, last name)
