Love this place and look forward to every year coming back! *I've been going here since 2015, they changed the decor and I think that was a HUGE MISTAKE! They went modern and I truly feel between the curtains, seating , tables, up lighting change, and behind the bar, they missed it. They lost the Elevated Elegance (Rat Pack) that they once had. They stepped it down, when they didn't have to*

Buyer beware- I may have just purchased a tampered or forged bottle from this retailer…read more I purchased a boxed bottle of Armagnac as a present for my mom. When I checked it out, the cashier quickly removed it from the box and then put it back in. I figured this was a standard procedure. When I got to my mom's five minutes later, we opened it and saw that there was a slit around part of the capsule. It was done so that the top of the capsule could hinge up, and the cork stopper could be removed, and everything could be pressed down and look "normal." We took it back immediately, within fifteen minutes of purchase. The cashier- an older man with a gray beard and strong attitude- accused us of making the slit ourselves and insisted he had shown me the bottle before purchase. While he had taken it in and out of the box, he did not demonstrate to me that the capsule was not tampered with. I'm not sure if the store purchased this from a wholesaler who is selling them forged goods, or whether this is happening in store, or they accepted a returned and tampered bottle. But they refused to exchange it for us, and were aggressive and rude. We have been loyal customers for years, and do not plan to return again.

Hello, Dislike te…read morefact I have to write a negative review about this place. I've been coming to this place for over 6 yrs! Sure it's not like back home (Hollywood C.A) but it's/was a cute little spot. I've always respected/respect the law, rules etc. This place is owned by police which I love. Yet last nights experience was terrible. They were shutting down the place and told all of us to leave. Been there done that. Just the way they said it and did it was so rude! There's this short brown skin bouncer that just thinks his crap don't stink that was just nasty. The owner finally came out and also was a rude individual. Once again I'm a well known person in Carson, they need to have a better way to ask people and remind them that that they are about to shut down for the night. Also, when I left, near the side of the building a young lady coming out of that place, fell due to the icy sidewalk next to this establishment were many hang out to smoke and hang. She was hurting and might of broken her ankle. This establishment should provide salt or warning signs and or both!. They know people hang out there a lot! Im not one to spend my energy on these things but I do voice when it is an unfair situation. Again I was not showing any signs of aggression yet this place treats people as though they have done something wrong. I've seen it in the past with others. Now I was one of those people that was mistreated. Terrible customer service! This establishment needs to learn how to communicate and ask customers to exit when the night is over in a polite and civilized manner.

Both of which you can enjoy while relaxing in comfy overstuffed chairs while watching the game on large-screen TVs. You'll also notice men AND women enjoying a very friendly, warm atmosphere. This is not a bar. It certainly is not a head shop or dispensary. It's a quiet place to enjoy a drink and a cigar with friends while decompressing from what lies on the other side of the door. They also rent humidity-controlled lockers if you'd like to keep a box and a bottle there to enjoy at a later time. The new owners got it right on their first try. The entrance is cool looking, except the fact that they had 10 security guards standing outside it. This did not help me feel safer, if anything I questioned even going in, but my brother in-law insisted we go in since Peek was too pricey for bottle service. So here we go... On Saturdays, they charge an entrance fee of $20 for guys and girls are free. Once you walk in, you can feel how small this place is. Immediately to the left you will find the only bar in the club. Directly in front of you they have maybe 5 "VIP" tables and a couple go-go dancing stages. Behind that is the DJ booth. This place is nothing special. I probably would not return for a second visit, merely because it smells like vomit, the DJ sucks and transitioning between songs and the vibe just isn't there for me. You just can't go from playing ratchet rap music, to a slow country song...no, no, no, no, no. Who does that? I would have to say, spend the extra $20-50 dollars to go to Peek, that place at least looks like and feels like a club ready to party.
