If you are shopping for any type of jewelry, go to the Diamond Cellar and ask for Randy Siegal. I started shopping for an engagement ring a year ago in June. I started by going to Jared. It was awful. I was not educated at all on diamonds and the 4Cs. Like the Diamond Cellar alludes to in their commercials, I was asked to sign up for financing before I even looked at diamonds. When I refused, I received half-hearted and shoddy service while being shown diamonds. I left feeling more confused and overwhelmed than when I entered. It was clear that they wanted to sell me a diamond, not help me with the most important event of my life. When I went to the Diamond Cellar, Randy spent at least 30 minutes explaining the 4Cs to me--not by just telling me, but by showing me the difference with actual diamonds, which makes a huge difference. Randy was upfront with me and told me that he did not care how big or little my budget was he just wanted to be the person to help me get the diamond that I wanted. He absolutely lived up to this promise. He showed me many diamonds of differing qualities and prices that all fit into my budget. When I was faced with the decision between two diamonds (one within my budget, the other outside of my budget) Randy talked me into the less expensive of the two. He explained why. Instead of selling me on the most expensive diamond he sold me on the diamond that would make my experience the best. It may sound cliche, but I felt like I was shopping with a friend when I was shopping with Randy. He will give you his honest opinion and will never push you to get something you don't want to. If you ask him his opinion, he will give it to you. Here's the most telling example of the fact that Randy and the Diamond Cellar want to help you, not just sell to you: I had my grandmother's engagement rings and was going to sell them to DC for some extra money for the purchase of the engagement ring I was looking to buy. Randy talked me out of it. He told me I would probably regret it down the line because I wasn't going to get a whole lot of money from it, and might want to do something with it down the line. This was the best advice that I got from Randy as I recently had him turn my grandmother's rings into a necklace that I am giving my fiance for her wedding gift. It is beautiful. He also created my Fiance's wedding band by pulling the diamonds from my grandmother's wedding band and it was gorgeous. I do not feel confident in making a decision regarding jewelry now without asking Randy's opinion. I will always defer to him in the future because he has made my every request happen and has come up with some really creative and romantic ideas to help me with my experience. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with the Diamond Cellar--and Randy Siegal in particular. I could not have had a better experience than I had working with Mike DiCello at Diamond Cellar. Truly exceptional. First some history that makes my experience even more remarkable. Over 2 years ago I visited Diamond Cellar to purchase a luxury time peace for myself as a reward for a career milestone and Mike happened to be the Sales Associate that was available to help me. I was new to this level of time peace and probably exhibited some hesitation that led him to believe I wasn't going to be purchasing immediately. That did not effect his attentiveness or passion in showing me the pieces I was interested in or even offering some suggestions. He not only showed me the pieces but provided me with background and knowledge around the manufacturing, styles, and other interesting facts. Never once did he make me feel any pressure to buy or exhibit any annoyance with me wasting his time given my hesitancy to buy immediately. After about 45 minutes with me I decided to wait but he gave me his business card with several models I was interested in, which I subsequently used as a book mark. Fast forward 2 years and my situation changed from wanting a luxury time piece for myself to wanting one as a gift for someone else's career milestone. There the bookmark was so I emailed Mike hoping he was still there. He immediately responded and provided me some guidance on what may or may not be available. He later sent photos of what he thought would be the perfect watch for my situation and offered to show it to me. We made an appointment and just like before, he spent almost an hour talking with me about the time piece and the current market and demand before again I decided to think about it. He still again was attentive and passionate about the time pieces and again showed no signs of annoyance, just an absolute joy in helping me. I left the store...only to come back 20 minutes later to buy what he helped me realize was a rare perfect piece. Mike was very attentive and offered me a drink while he processed the transaction and gift wrapped my time piece. He even walked me through recommendations for insurance and their engraving or sizing services. I truly don't know any other sales person who would have been so attentive and helpful to a potential customer that had first contacted them 2 years ago and never made the purchase and then left again! To me that goes to show you that Mike truly cares about what he sells to his customers and cares that his customers get exactly what they want when they need it. This review is for the Diamond Cellar at Easton. I was looking for a new wedding band for my wife to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I had a very specific idea in mind as to the diamonds, diamond weight, appearance of the ring, etc. Michael Parise waited on me one evening and was very patient. He helped me select the perfect diamond to be the centerpiece of the ring, but I didn't find the band that I was looking for. On the drive home that night I thought I had better look around at some other high-end jewelers due to the amount of money I was spending. I did look at another well-respected jewelry store and was treated very well by them, but I was still left wanting for the perfect ring. I then visited Michael again a few days later. He made the effort to get some additional bands in. After looking at them I said that one of the bands would be perfect if it had an extra row of diamonds. Michael then asked, "What if we custom design and make you the ring you want for your wife?" Michael then involved Dan Mikel one of the DC's jewelry artisans. Dan and Michael talked it out with me, and gave me a price. A few days later Michael sent me a series of 3D CAD drawings with different views of the ring. I approved the design and it was time to make the ring. We had less than 4 weeks to get the ring made and Michael promised it to me a few days in advance of our anniversary. The ring was completed a few days earlier than promised. It is absolutely beautiful and my wife loves it. The fact that it is a "one off" ring that was custom designed and made for her put it over the top. The customer service I received from Michael Parise was outstanding, and he was very professional throughout the process. Some of the reviews state that the Diamond Cellar is pricey or very expensive. However, if you really know what you are buying, and are comparing apples-to-apples with other high-end jewelers I can tell you that the Diamond Cellar is price competitive. The saying, "You get what you pay for" is true. I am a very busy professional, so I do not normally take time to write reviews on public forums. However, based on Michael's genuine desire to make my wife's 30th anniversary band to be unforgettable, and I think we used the words "stunning" and "a head turner" a lot, his professionalism, and Dan's sincere interest in this project and his craftsmanship and efforts, I thought it would be a complete disservice not to thank and recognize both of them publicly. I'm sure we all have pieces of jewelry we can never replace. I have two rings my grandmother gave my mother and aunt when they turned sixteen that they passed on to me. A Saint Michael's medal and chain my mother bought me in Italy, and a few other personal items of sentimental value. Unfortunately, over the years, some of the pieces had broke or no longer fit my finger. Some of these items are over 50 years old. Because of the sentimental value to me and they cannot be replaced, I have been afraid to take them anywhere and not trusting anyone to keep or fix them. In 2008 my husband bought my engagement ring and wedding band at the Diamond Cellar. So, over the years we have established a relationship buying pieces here and there. Right before the holidays I decided to pack my sentimental jewelry I could not wear and took it to Jason (Sakasci) at the Diamond Cellar (Easton location). I had to trust someone or they would never had been repaired. I am so happy I did. I told Jason I was hesitant taking these pieces out of my house. Jason stated that the Diamond Cellar started out repairing jewelry. I never knew. I also decided to get my wedding rings cleaned before I left to go out of town to visit family for the holidays. Jason examined my wedding rings and stated that one of the stones were loose. I was very upset, because I would have to leave my ring there over the holiday. A few days later we were visiting family for the holidays. My husband pulled out my engagement ring a proposed to me again. It was so sweet and I was so excited to have my ring back. Jason had spoke to my husband and arranged to have my ring fixed so I had it over the holidays. Can't tell you how much it meant to me. I cried I was so happy. Also, Christmas morning my husband gave me one of the rings my grandmother gave to my mother. Jason had that one also sized, tightened, cleaned and gave to my husband before we left. Cried again. Jason also called me during Christmas week to tell me that my pieces were all fixed and they came out beautifully. It was truly the best Christmas I have ever had. When I returned and picked the other pieces up, they were stunning! All of them. Thank you Jason for making my Christmas the best! My husband surprised me 26 years ago by purchasing a beautiful ring at the Diamond Cellar off Henderson Rd. For our 25th anniversary he once again surprised me by giving me a beautiful diamond ring for my right hand. The process was awesome as he let me go along on this journey. It was an easy decision to go back to the Diamond Cellar. We began working with Michael DiCello in May. Michael is the ultimate professional in this industry and brings tremendous expertise and patience to this experience. His goal is to truly bring value and satisfaction to the customer. He was always responsive and walked us through the process. During the Covid situation he worked to schedule appointments with us. Coupled with the many options on settings and loose diamonds it is an unbeatable combination. We started with 3 settings and then went back several times and selected a beautiful European diamond setting. Michael was able to get several loose diamonds with high quality from their buyer, inventory and other stores and gave many great options to pair with the setting. We were able to pick out a beautiful diamond, very high quality and competitive price. We decided to get the setting in platinum and Michael was able to price and order this option. Michael communicated throughout this timeframe and worked hard and delivered this before our anniversary. He met his commitment and I was so excited! My husband gave me this ring and told me he would marry me again! My husband reminded me that the cost would quickly fade, but the experience and quality of this ring and his love for me will always be remembered and will endure forever. I also surprised my husband by getting him a beautiful timepiece, his first mechanical watch. I had anxiety about shopping for a wedding band bc 1) I wasn't sure what I wanted 2) I felt like my being indecisive was wasting the salesperson's time and 3) I was not having a good experience at the few stores in which I had looked. However, since my wedding is 6 weeks away, I knew I needed to power through and find something. We walked into this location looking like typical SoHud millennials and were greeted right away (I specify this bc some previous reviewers had suggested that their attire was the reason they received poor service but, in my case, that was not true. I mean, you could see my nips through my crop top for goodness sake). I was told to browse their selection and a salesperson would be with me shortly. After having just enough time to skim the entire selection of wedding bands (a corner of the store) Hugh Jones approached and asked to help me. He was a dream of a sales rep! He was very patient and listened to what I wanted. At other jewelry stores I felt like I was not taken seriously and was given rings to try that were not my taste even after expressing my discontent. It was a relief that this was not Hugh's approach! At one point I had even apologized to him for being indecisive and he was incredibly reassuring when he told me this would be the ring I wear for the rest of my life and that I should take this much time in deciding which one it would be. What a doll! When I had finally narrowed it down to two he urged me to walk around with them on and look at them in their full length mirror. We ended up making the purchase and Hugh asked to take my engagement ring to the back with the wedding band so he could shine it up for me before we left! I have a confession. I work in the service industry and I get bonuses for each review that I generate so I often ask my customers to write me a good review. However; I rarely write reviews myself! I know I know, I need to do better! My experience at the Diamond celler was such an AMAZING experience I have to take the time to write this review. I've been to a ton of different jewelers in Wsthe Columbus area and I would not buy anywhere else but the Celler. My recent experience with Marci Gold was great. Marci is really good at what she does... My girlfriend and I came in about 4 months ago to look at engagement rings. I wanted to get an idea of what my future wife would like. Marci took time and patience in order to help us and did not rush or create ideas for us. She listened very closely. You can see her brain go to work as she thinks about the perfect piece for us. Months later I was so impressed when I came back to look around, I was became overwhelmed and I started to look at what I like and not what my girlfriend likes. Marci said ''no, she doesn't like the rose gold''. I was amazed that she remembered after so many months. We found the perfect piece and I made the purchase. A day or so later I decided that I wanted something memorable for my daughters. Without even walking into the store Marci found and texted pictures of the perfect little necklaces for my babies! Very notable experience with the Diamond Cellar. I went in to this location a few weeks ago to purchase my fiance's engagement ring, and everyone working there was super helpful. I was greeted at the door, pointed in the right direction, and then helped by one of their staff members to pick out the ring itself. After picking the setting, I was presented with about 5 diamonds that fit my budget. The ring turned out beautiful (3 days later after resizing/getting set) and my fiance couldn't have been happier. A week or so later, we decided that the ring needed to be resized. Living in Dayton at the time, it was a long drive to Columbus so we took it to Jared's. This ended up being a big mistake. They had to resize the ring 3 times to get it even looking decent and even then it didn't look anything like it did when i bought it. It was scuffed, rough in parts, and much thicker on the sides. Being platinum, it might have been more difficult to work with, but this was still a waste of time and almost $100. About a week after being unsatisfied, we took it back to the Diamond Cellar. Not only did we get to talk directly to the person who would be working on the ring, but he showed us the equipment and materials he would be using. What would have been a $500 repair was done as a courtesy, even though Jared's messed the ring up. After the repair, it came out looking just like it did the day I bought it. My fiance and I could not have been more relieved. We will definitely be returning for wedding bands. read more

On May 22, 2014 I visited the Diamond Cellar at Easton to see if I could get a charm put on my bracelet. The charm was a gift and it was not purchased at the Diamond Cellar. I was warmly greeted at the door and directed to the service desk. The gentleman at the service desk was busy and visibly irritated. He said he would be right with me, he had to clean up some mess before he could assist me. I aksed him if they did repairs. Without making eye contact, he stated yes and he would be finished soon. He looked up, saw a customer and told me he would be back, and proceeded to help the browsing customer. He looked back and saw one of his peers returning from lunch and motioned for him to come over to the service desk where I had been waiting. Jason Sakasci, came over and apologized that I had been waiting so long. He said he noticed I had been standing at the desk but thought the other employee was helping me. I asked about getting my charm added to my bracelet and Jason said absolutely. He asked how I preferred to have it attached, he attached the charm himself and cleaned my bracelet---all in a matter of minutes. Jason saved the day! While this review could have gone very differently if I were writing about the first employee--Jason's attention and superior customer service, cooled the fire lit by the first employee. Marcie Gold was a tremendous help with the entire process of picking the perfect engagement ring. Marcie treated us like family from the very moment we met her. There was never a moment where it felt like we were talking to a sales person. Just someone who loved her job and was passionate about helping others discover the perfect piece of jewelry to capture a moment that would be remembered forever. From the moment we first walked into the store together to first look at rings, Marcie was just as excited as we were. We were offered drinks and given full attention. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough to make sure we knew of all the possibilities, and did her best to help my fiancé find exactly what she was looking for. We narrowed it down to two rings. From there, Marcie helped me with a custom design that combined the qualities of each ring that my fiancé liked. I loved the ring and knew my fiancé would too (she absolutely loves it). My boyfriend and I wanted to start looking at engagement rings and were referred to Randy Siegel at Diamond Cellar by a friend. We didn't know much about ring shopping but Randy treated us with the utmost care and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. We did not feel like we were being "sold" to but like we were chatting with a good friend about what we were looking for in a ring. Our budget is small but never once did Randy make us feel like small-time buyers. He even said "I don't care how much you spend on your ring, only that you buy the ring here." Their customer service is outstanding, and every employee strives to create a unique and special experience for each customer. I recently purchased a Rolex watch from the Easton store, and the experience was absolutely sensational thanks to Marcie and Josh! Knowing how special of an occasion it was for me, Marcie and Josh took the time to create an experience I will never forget and I'm forever grateful. I was offered champagne and refreshments, and we chatted like old friends throughout my time at the store. The personal touch that Marcie and Josh provided was heartfelt and sincere, and their passion for watches and jewelry is readily apparent. Over four years ago My husband bought my engagement ring from diamond cellar. My husband and I have always been a fan and here is a one of the reasons why. I stopped in to get my ring cleaned, Stephanie P. Came to greet me. What Stephanie didn't know is that I came in to cheer myself up from a unfortunate, mentally exhausting shift at the hospital. I previously had lost my wedding band and my husband and I always wanted to replace it but could never make it in together. Stephanie first examined my engagement ring to see if diamonds needed tightened. She then helped me look at different wedding bands. Rings that matched and others that fit what I liked. I felt like Goldie locks trying different rings on to find the perfect one. (Diamond Cellar has a lot to chose from) Stephanie had a lot of patience with me as tried on many rings, some I tried on multiple times. The best part was is Stephanie was so kind that I felt like I was there shopping with a girlfriend. I originally went to the Diamond Cellar-Easton to research diamond earrings. I own a general contracting business and stopped in after a drywall project, which left me very dusty and dirty. I was greeted promptly and began my jewelry journey with Randy. There were no education lessons about the 4c's or any other cheesy pitches which was great. He asked appropriate questions and actually got me to admit that I was looking for a ring, instead of earrings, as a Christmas gift. To make things even better he helped me pair two additional bands with my center ring to create what could only be described as the most EPIC ring of 2014!!! It is rare to find someone who is passionate, knowledgeable, and listens to what the paying customer wants. Whatever they are paying Randy should be doubled. I have read several reviews about people not being treated courteously and no selection at the store. Those reviews were either written by other jewelry store owners or people that were embarrassed by the Diamond Cellar's reasonable prices. I was recently shopping around for engagement ring ideas when I decided to check out the Diamond Cellar. I had heard a radio advertisement mentioning a location at Easton Town Center. I frequent that area, but never noticed this store (probably because I'm a guy and previously hadn't been thinking about engagement rings). The customer service has very pleasant. At the front desk I was offered something to drink then given a brief tour of the store's selection. I was quickly greeted by an associate, Jason Sakasci. He was very knowledgeable and I felt the whole interaction was very transparent; no tricks or hidden information. Jason helped me with a custom-design band and a assisted me to get the best diamond for my budget. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From one regular guy to another (presuming you are also a guy) this is truly a place to go if you need help or just want honest and experienced advice. I will definitely be going back for the weddings bands. I went in to get some of my vintage jewelry cleaned on Saturday, January 4, 2014, and was gladly welcomed by Tim Barczak at the door. I asked for Michael Parise whom I've dealth with in the past, but he happen to be with a customer. Tim immediately offered to clean my jewelry instead of waiting. And while waiting, I happen to browse at a shelf of pre-owned estate jewelry. When Tim came back with our fabulously cleaned jewelry which he personally did, I asked him several questions about the particular shelf. I asked to look at about 3-4 pieces, which he gladly showed us. I went further to ask of his technical know-how about the Rolex and Tag Heuer watches, and he surely educated me like nobody's business! I was quite amazed with his vast knowledge that I ended up buying 2 of the 4 watches he showed me worth close to $5,000! We were very impressed with Tim's professionalism, service from a customer's lens, and most importantly, he made us feel how glad he was to have assisted us. Now this is excellent customer service. My fiancé and I came in to the Diamond Cellar a few weeks after getting engaged to shop for wedding bands and Josh helped us right away. We explained what we wanted and when we needed the rings by and he let us know about a promotion they typically run in the spring and that we had plenty of time until our wedding to wait and take advantage of it. He emailed me as soon as the promotion was going on and made it easy to reserve an appointment online. We ordered the rings and once received I wasn't happy with the profile height of my solid gold band paired with my engagement ring (purchased from another retailer). Josh immediately offered solutions and helped us order a custom sized gold band. The custom band was absolutely perfect! A week before the wedding we came in to have the rings connected and Josh even made sure my gold class ring I would wear on my other hand during the wedding was polish and perfect. Could not recommend the Diamond Cellar enough. They are extremely professional and respectful no matter what you are planning on purchasing or planning on spending. read more
