I cannot say enough great things about Alex and the entire team at Dublin Village Jewelers. They…read moretruly went above and beyond to make the entire engagement ring process as stress free and seamless as possible. They took the time to walk me through every step in a way that was clear, honest, and approachable, and were always mindful of my budget. Alex was fantastic to work with and kept me in the loop every step of the way. He took my loose ideas and turned them into something thoughtful, unique, and honestly better than I had pictured. The ring itself turned out absolutely stunning, a true piece of art that my fiance and I will cherish for a lifetime. I am incredibly grateful for their guidance and craftsmanship, and would highly recommend Dublin Village Jewelers to anyone!

The reason I gave them two stars is because when we came in, we didn't even get a greeting, we spent over five minutes, just waiting for someone to greet us with no luck at all. While we're waiting, I briefly looked over there selection and it was pretty limited. Though not sure if they have more options elsewhere since we weren't able to speak to anyone. We ended up leaving because we felt like if we're going to make that type of investment. There's a level of customer service that accompanies that.

She immediately began looking into what had happened before she called me, and now has the ball rolling. It should be noted that she called from her personal cell phone and is personally making sure that everything is rectified. I dreaded the prospect of starting this process over. Until this we were genuine "five star review" customers of Worthington Jewelers from prior experience. That is what made this so shocking to me. However, Theresa has restored the image and impression we have carried of Worthington Jewelers from the first time we walked in the door. I want to make sure that I provide up to date information and reviews so that folks can see for themselves what is happening and make their own decisions. Also, if I can take the time to write a negative review, then I can certainly take the time to make sure folks know when the store steps up to the plate to make things right. Theresa - thank you. Truly. You don't know how much it means to me that you called me, and that my wife will get this gift. *** I am a repeat customer of Worthington Jewelers, so I am shocked that I have to write this review. I went in just before Valentine's Day with a request to have specific stones mounted in a yellow gold cross. Each stone was specific corresponding to a special month between my wife and I. I started working with Stephen on this. It was going to take some time which I understood. Stephen starts the process to see what needed to be done with regards to the setting, how it comes, replacing stones, etc. I was expecting and update within about a week (per Stephen) which did not come. I had to call to follow up. That led to a return call and a trip in to the store to inspect the parts. Several adjustments were needed (that is also expected in custom work for jewelry, so I was good with this). Once the revisions were decided I left the store expecting get an update within the next couple weeks at the very least. No dice. After almost a month of no contact I called and left a voicemail asking for an update. This was about two and a half weeks ago. I received no call. I made a return call and left another voicemail four days ago. I still have heard nothing from the store. I don't understand why none has taken the time to return my call, or why I'm clearly not important enough to them to take seriously. The piece I am having customized may not be a $10,000 piece of completely custom jewelry, but I am a customer. If they are not interested then at least tell me. If they are facing staffing shortages and are running behind and can't get to the work I understand that as well. I'm flexible. There are no words for the level of disappointment I feel over this. It took me a long time to come up with this idea, pick the stones that had the most meaning, and put the entire idea together. This is not easy for me to do for various reasons. This is something my wife will cherish due to the meaning behind it. She has been through several very tough years and I just wanted her to have something that would show how much I truly love her. I will still get this piece made somewhere. I just don't know where yet. Very disappointed.

YE Gurl Says: Service Matters More Than Sparkle at Worthington Jewelers…read more Place: Worthington Jewelers Context: Bridal show intro + in-store visits I really wanted to root for this one. I'm a fan of local, mom-and-pop businesses--especially for something as meaningful as wedding jewelry. Met the team at a bridal show, and while the energy felt a little off (crowds were heavy, so I gave grace), they warmed up enough to mention an extended bridal promo and encouraged me to stop in. So I did. And unfortunately... the experience never quite landed. When I came into the store, it was busy again--fair--but the interaction felt just as unclear as before. I explained exactly what I was looking for (even showed a Tiffany & Co. reference), and was immediately told customization was the only option... with no pricing guidance, no range, no transparency. That's a miss. When I did find a band in-store that worked, I moved forward--still without a clear idea of cost. After a long back-and-forth with a manufacturer, the quote came back at over $1,500 more than the comparable Tiffany piece. Pause. I also had to remind them about their own bridal promotion while actively making a purchase. That shouldn't be on the customer. To salvage the visit, I added earrings and dropped off jewelry for repair (which, to be clear, the smith work was excellent). But the buying experience? Still off. And here's where it really mattered: I later found my original ring through my Tiffany rep and called to cancel the order. Thankfully, I caught it in time--because buried in the fine print is that custom orders are non-cancelable. That's the kind of detail that should be clearly communicated upfront, not discovered later. Even the cancellation process felt like work. I was told someone would call me back... hours passed... I had to follow up myself to close the loop. Final visit to pick up my repaired jewelry? Empty store, but still somehow rushed. I tried to browse, got prompted to check out early, asked about items I'd previously seen--and was told they didn't exist. Then spotted them right next to me at checkout. At that point, I paid for the repair work and left with the same energy I walked in with: rushed, unclear, and not particularly welcomed. YE Gurl Insight: There's a difference between *nice* and *kind*. Nice feels scripted. Kind feels intentional. And in a category like jewelry--where purchases are emotional, high-investment, and personal--experience is everything. Final Take: * Craftsmanship (repairs): Strong * Retail experience: Inconsistent at best * Pricing transparency: Lacking * Overall vibe: Off I understand why more people are opting for brands like Tiffany & Co. or even online retailers like Mejuri --you get clarity, consistency, and a smoother experience without the friction. YE Gurl Says: Support local when it feels good to do so. But if the experience makes you second-guess a meaningful purchase? Trust that instinct and move accordingly.

Billie and the team at Alfred Leo came through for me and Sarah. On a cold, rainy Saturday they brightened up a gray day with amazing service. They worked first to figure out what Sarah wanted, then gave us a few options to check out. We found out which ring composition matched her skin tone, then went from there. I had an existing stone and we worked as a team to come up with the right setting. Billie then worked on pricing with me and it turned out great. She had the ring ready to go a few days later, including the estimate. Even the earring that my stone came in was able to be recycled for metal. I would recommend them again and again. I was buzzed in to the store and I was the only customer. She shut me down. she said, not a problem if I didn't mind waiting 3 weeks until after the new year, that they were just too busy. And then added ... anything else you are needing?! I wanted to take a look around as my battery was being replaced and I was needing a 14k gold cross for my Grandson's baptism. At that point, there was no way I was staying. Sales people have forgotten how to build business, definitely a missed opportunity for Leo Alfred Jewelers... and sadly, I will not be returning.

We still can't believe we purchased our wedding bands today with no prior intention of doing so, a testament to Ken's ability. As for the Diamond Cellar, our wedding bands are perfect! And they refused to sell their ring on consignment because it was made of lab grown diamonds. Diamond cellar sells lab grown diamonds and they claim there is an after market for. Just like if you purchase a car, it loses some of its value after you drive off the lot, but in this case imagine that the ring we purchased has a zero value the minute we purchased. They surely know how profusely apologize for offering "nothing we can do" but they clearly don't stand behind the product they sell. They seem more than happy to leave their customers without any help or options as we are sent on our way with a, "sorry, there is nothing we can do." I asked for some escalation to management but its been over a month and no call or contact made by staff. I knew what I bought but assumed that they would at least provide assistance in dealing with the situation instead of leaving me on my own to figure it out. Better off going to a local jewelers.

Seriously everything is adorable and I would want it all for me or my daughter. The quality of their products seem good as well but for someone who is crafty there are very few things I would actually purchase because with a little effort I could easily make them myself (and do... hair bows, tutus, aprons, etc) or find exactly what I want on Etsy.com for the same prices and have custom made to my specifications. Maybe the do custom orders, I don't know, I didn't ask but when I went there the two sales people sitting at the front desk both said "hi" right as I walked into the door but didn't ask if I needed help or asked how I was or anything. They were not busy, I was the only person in the store at that time, they just kept on going about their conversation even while they checked me out. Barely got eye contact with either of them. Again, place is cute, clean, etc... if you don't like ordering stuff online or are not crafty yourself or have the time to be this place would be just great. I just expected more 'smiles' and 'warm' feelings from the sales staff as it is in downtown Powell in a cute house amongst other local stores who give you that "you are a guest here" warm fuzzy feeling that keeps you coming back to support local businesses.
