Had such a difficult time choosing between blue, green, pink and many other colors. I do not recall seeing any gemstone displays, but perhaps that is the reason for the prices. I shopped here at Christmas with the narrow search of silver hoop earrings, larger than a golf ball. I also know what backs are acceptable for my gals preference. This specific search was limited to a countertop spinning rounder. Great! No one to bother to remove one item at a time from below the glass case. They were real silver, and not just plated. Shock and surprise. They were also hollow. Pro's ~ they are super lightweight. Con's ~ they are subject to malleability due to their thin hollow design. They were a good value in hand, that I did not have to order online. They do come in a nice gift box, but nothing black velvet, nor the tiny Ziploc. Fast forward to late February. She had enough Christmas spoils that I was able to hold them over to Valentines Day. Everything was perfect about them with one exception. One part of the catch was just sharp enough to irritate after a couple sharp pokes. We returned to the kiosk, where they were very understanding. They had ordered 2 of that pair as a trial from a new vendor. She agreed on the design flaw and offered an exchange. Easy Peezy on our way with a smile. I'm at Easton. I first checked all the department store jewelry counters before arriving here. I swung a wide berth around all jewelry stores compensating for Easton real estate rent. Macy's. Nordstrom. Talbots. Other boutique shops. All had the same limited selection(for my needs) with higher price tags. I guess those velvet boxes are expensive.

I love to support local businesses as they work very hard on the items they make. I bought a cute pair of paw print earrings since I've asked hubby for a pair and he didn't deliver. So onto the earrings, everything is handmade so it's great from the necklaces to earrings, you know it's made with local pride. I also got a block with the Ohio symbol and home written inside as it's very appropriate for my household. Maybe I should have gotten the Oxford one too since my hubby went to Miami, but I'll definitely be back soon for more stuff! I love supporting local businesses and giving back to the community that works so hard!
