Every once in a while you come across a contractor who does exactly what they promise. They show up when they say they will, do the work efficiently, demonstrate real skill and experience, and leave you feeling like you made the right choice. That's exactly what Dialed In Plumbing did for us. A few weeks before the installation, Brian Dial came out to inspect our aging water heater and answer my many questions about switching to a tankless system. After comparing the costs and weighing the pros and cons, we decided to replace our old A.O. Smith gas water heater with a higher-quality Bradford White model instead. I did a lot of research beforehand and contacted several plumbing companies for estimates. Some wanted to charge $200 just to come look at the existing installation before providing a quote. Brian came out at no charge, patiently explained all of our options, and sent a detailed electronic quote that was easy to review. (Yes, I even copied it into ChatGPT to make sure everything looked reasonable!) Installation day was just as impressive. The crew arrived around 9:30 a.m. and had everything completed shortly after 1:00 p.m. The installation wasn't simply a swap. They corrected several things that had apparently been overlooked when our home was built, including: * Properly grounding the water pipes. * Replacing plastic piping near the water heater with copper. * Securing the expansion tank to the wall with proper straps. * Installing spacers behind the water heater to provide the proper clearance from the wall. These weren't items I specifically asked for, but they reflected their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job correctly. What really stood out, though, was the people. Brian and his team were friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. They answered my questions, shared their knowledge, and taught me a few things along the way. It's refreshing to work with people who clearly take pride in their craft. Dialed In Plumbing has earned a new long-term customer. The next time I need a plumber, they will be my first call. One final thought for California homeowners: if you're planning to replace an aging gas water heater, you may want to do it sooner rather than later. Pending state regulations are expected to phase out the sale of new gas-fired water heaters in the coming years, making electric heat pump models the primary replacement option. If you need a plumber you can trust, I'd definitely recommend giving Dialed In Plumbing a call. read more

I had Brian replace my 14 year old water heater that stopped working Friday night. We scheduled a Sunday replacement. Brian and his brother were on time, extremely professional and did an outstanding job. They offer very competitive pricing and go above and beyond to make sure they do the job correctly. They even made sure my water heater and equipment are up to code. They could have charged me more, but they just included it within the quoted price. They run a small, local family business which is awesome. I HIGHLY recommend Dialed In Plumbing. They both are honest and amazing. Please support them and their business. They will make sure that your job is done correctly for a great price. I will definitely have them back to do some more upgrades and repairs. Thank you both very much!!! read more

These guys are the best! I've contacted them twice, the first time was just inquiring about installing a drain. They answered so quick, Tim came out did an inspection, gave me a quote, and BAM Tim and Brian showed up, the new drain was installed and they cleaned up after themselves, and it was a rainy day and there was no sign of any mess, they wore shoe coverings inside and took them off when they went outside, every time. After they were done, we mentioned an issue that we were having with our water heater. Tim looked into it and got back to us within a few days with information. The second time I had a leaking faucet and messaged them at night. I got an answer the same night, Tim came out the next morning and found the issue and gave me a quote. Of course this was Saturday and we scheduled the repair appointment on Monday morning. THEN the leaking got worse that night and I started to panic and sent over a video of the faucet leaking. They again answered right away, advised me what to do and said they'd try to find the needed part the next morning (Sunday). And now all of a sudden I have a new appointment for tomorrow (Sunday) morning. I don't even need to wait to know the job will get done perfectly. Seriously the best. Highly recommended. read more

Responded in minutes, set up a free estimate for the next day morning, they pointed out many other issues that they would address and provided a quote. I accepted their quote which was reasonable, not the lowest, but they did address concerns I had about replacing one toilet and repairing the other including under the bathroom pipes. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. All was cleaned up afterwards, couldn't tell they were there if I hadn't seen them do the work. Will definitely hire them for my plumbing needs. read more

I had a great experience with Dialed In Plumbing. As a single woman, it's not always easy finding contractors you feel comfortable with, but Tim made the whole process easy. I had four plumbers come out, and he was the only one who actually went under the house, took a bunch of photos of the piping, and explained everything to me in a really clear, respectful way. I work from home and have a dog, and both Tim and his brother Brian were super courteous and mindful of that. They repiped my whole house in two days, kept me updated the whole time, and left everything clean when they were done. Along the way, they found a few other minor issues, but took care of them without changing the quote or adding extra charges. Professional, honest, and easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend! Brian and Tim are great at what they do and, very honest people. They walked us through the entire horizontal underfloor PEX repipe process step by step and explained everything in a way that was easy for a homeowner to understand. They also handled the permit process and inspections, which made the whole experience stress-free. Really appreciated their attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work. I'm already using them for my next project and am so glad I found a plumber for life. read more

As a volunteer facilities manager of a small local 40+ year old church, I needed to hire a plumber for some indoor and outdoor repiping work. I did some research and had multiple bids done by local and regional plumbing companies. Dialed-In-Plumbing was the most responsive and detailed in their quotes and verbal follow up questions. Their quotes were fair and reasonable for the work they performed. They used copper pipes with crimp fittings which is a clean, safe, and reliable way of copper pipe installation instead of soldering. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services either residential or commercial. They showed up according to schedule, completed quality work, and cleaned up afterwards. read more

My water heater's pilot light came off suddenly. I invited PG&E and they lit it up again. A day later the pilot light extinguished again and I couldn't lit it anymore. It was Friday around 10am and I called several contractors from Morgan Hill area. Dialed In plumbing answered promptly and Tim and Brian arrived within 2 hours, as they promised. I explained the problem and after some research for parts, they suggested two options. replacement of the control valve and replacement of the whole water heater. I opted to go with the second option as my heater was already 12 years old. We agreed on a decent price, and they went to get the heater and some other parts. once they came back they removed the old heater, cleaned up the area and install the new one. the installation went smooth and they finished the work within couple of hours. Tim and Brian were very nice and informative. They explain the different options before start of work, and explained how to operate the heater after finishing the work. Fabulous experience with Dialed in Plumbing. I had a huge water heater leak with water squirting out every where. Brian and colleague arrived within 15 minutes to assess the situation. I decided to go with having a new water heater because it was 12 years old although I was given a quote for a repair it made sense to replace. The guys went off to Gilroy to purchase all parts and when they returned it was not long before I had hot water again and I was a very happy customer. These guys are very hard working, know their business and are very pleasant to work with. I certainly would recommend them for all your leaks and plumbing associated projects.
