I haven't had any luck finding someone to do it. So I called them and he told me he would do it and that he would call me back after he checked his schedule to set up a time. Two weeks later, still no phone call. So unless you have a job for these people where they make a lot of money off you, don't call. It's a waste of time.

Our HVAC system was serviced by this company for a routine maintenance check-up, and shortly afterwards we discovered damage that was not present before the visit. It was found that the technician either urinated or poured urine down our condensation drain of the air handler located in our attic. What is especially concerning is that the employee involved denied responsibility when questioned by law enforcement. Regardless of those denials, the timing, circumstances, and condition of the unit found by a third-party HVAC contractor, who stated it was 100% urine, confirms clear damage/vandalism to our system. We made a good-faith effort to address this matter directly with the owner before sharing and he only stated, "we do not do this" and that he would look into the matter. No further communications has been received from the owner/company even after a follow-up request. Based on our experience, we no longer have confidence in this company and will not be using its services in the future. I encourage all prospective customers/customers to document the condition of their equipment before and after any service appointment and to carefully consider how important company accountability is when choosing a contractor -- especially with this company.

He proceeded to tell me my 7 year old gaspack…read moreunit heat exchanger was all rusted and had holes in it and was most likely dumping carbon monoxide into my vents and it could kill us. Told me that he legally had to shutoff the gas supply to the unit as it was dangerous. Quoted me ballpark figures of $5k to replace the heat exchanger or even better to replace the entire unit at a cost of $9k-$15k! I immediately called my prior service company and them come out and inspect the unit the next business day. They pulled the blower motor and showed me a very shiny heat exchanger that was in perfect shape. The thing the Preferred technician was showing me was the burner, not the heat exchanger! My prior technician also informed me my unit is still under warranty and the heat exchanger has a 20 year parts warranty so I would only have to pay $500 labor charge to replace it if it was bad. If feel like Preferred Home Services are dishonest and use scare tactics to upsell their unknowing customers on unnecessary repairs and replacements. I attempted to address these complaints with management at Preferred Home Services, but after waiting for 3 days with no call back, decided to post this review. I will not use their services again. ​

After he left, the system was not working quite right that afternoon, the customer service dispatcher called him, he came back late on Friday afternoon, spent a couple of hours going over the system and corrected the issue...and it has been working great ever since! Cody was very informative as to what the problem was and gave us a heads up on another possible problem for the future (it is an older system)...very helpful! I highly recommend Complete Heat and Air and kudos to Cody for his excellent service!
