BEWARE THIS PRICE GOUGING CROOK! My name is Jerry Meacham and my home is in Cocoa. I was away on business and the central air conditioner quit in the house. My wife called DURON at 3 PM upon returning home from a days work and finding the house unbearably hot. My wife was told the repairman would be out the next day. The repairman stated that it sounded like a blower motor and that he may not be able to fix the unit without ordering or buying a part. All the more reason to come out early in the day don't you think? My wife took the day off work to wait for the repairman. To late in the day to even get the part installed in the same day the repairman showed and diagnosed the problem and said it was indeed a blower motor on the air handler in the house. I spoke to th repairman on the phone from out of town. I told him to give me a price on the blower motor.. I also specifically told him, "USE A GENERIC BLOWER MOTOR IF ONE IS AVAILABLE AND OR LESS EXPENSIVE" The following day the repairman from DURON called and quoted my wife over 1200 dollars for the repair. They also charged 80 dollars to find the trouble on their first visit to the home. Anyway, my wife said NO! AND CALLED KABRAN AIR.. THE NEXT DAY KABRAN CAME OUT.. INSTALLED A GENERIC BLOWER MOTOR THAT THEY HAD ON THEIR TRUCK AND WERE GONE AND THE HOUSE ICE COLD IN 1 HOUR! FOR 350 DOLLARS!!!!! SO I SAY DURON WAS GOING TO PRICE GOUGE a woman because they thought they could get away with it. I recently had a mini-split system installed by Duron, and while the installation and system performance have been acceptable, I came away from the experience disappointed. My HVAC setup is somewhat unique, and I had hoped that working with a "comfort specialist" would mean a tailored, consultative approach. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. The system I was sold included some unresolved variables that, in hindsight, should have been clarified up front. While the salesperson (Erik M.) claims we discussed them (to his credit, we did), I left the process feeling more like I was sold a product than truly advised on the best long-term solution. I take responsibility for not doing more homework beforehand, but I expected a higher level of guidance from a company positioning itself as an expert. I searched and received 9 bids for a new a/c for my Malabar, fl house. the last bid I accepted was from dial plumbing and a/c. mike the salesman was very grounded and down to earth and not once did he push for a sale. he was the most knowledgable of all the salesmen I dealt with and was a pleasure to talk to. he answered all my questions and offered advice as I requested. we chose trane with 16 seer. the price was very competitive and half as much as some. I called about a week out to set appointment and the crew bill and Shawn showed up on time clean and sober. they both were very well spoken and courteous and it was immediately obvious they knew what they were doing. they finished the install answered my questions and left the garage and side yard as they found it. very professional installation and I paid exactly what the estimate was. looking forwarding to doing business for many years to come! read more

Our washing machine, when discharging water during the rinse/spin cycle, started backing up out of the pipe that the washer hose goes into. Then it would back up into the kitchen sinks and then slowly go out. No other problems in the house with water going down the drain. It made doing laundry a pain in the butt. We called Dial Plumbing and they sent Stan to fix our problem. Stan is excellent. He tried one snake and made progress but it needed a longer snake. The longer snake did the trick. He put a hose down the drain and ran the water for quite a while and it did not back up and out. This apparently was Stan's first day with the Company and I recommend you keep him. Job well done. Profesional from start to finish. Our hot water heater went out on a Fri, & we weren't able to call anyone over the weekend. We called Dial on Mon, & they installed a brand new one on Tues. They were very courteous & considerate of our needs. From the moment we called Dial Plumbing, we knew we were in good hands. The delivery went smooth, & the installers were professional & friendly. Our AC was failing. Ernie for Dial Duron came out and worked with us to identify a system that would meet out needs and was affordable. He handled everything for us and got or NEW System ordered and all the paperwork done quickly and easily. Ernie was an awesome Gentleman to work with. Our HVAC system stopped working this morning and the provider I use for twice yearly service could not get a technician out until tomorrow. I called Dial, whom I had used to hook up a gas stove and fix an issue with our dishwasher, and they had a technician out within a couple of hours. Pat was very professional, talked me through some recommended steps to maintain the system while diagnosing and repairing it. Replaced the capacitor and we're cooling back down. Will definitely be using Dial for all future HVAC, plumbing and natural gas issues. read more

Ive used Dial plumbing and AC for years. Always prompt and courteous. Just called them on an AC problem with my blower motor in my 2002 Trane XL 1800 heat pump. Motor was bucking and growling at stopped moving altogether, no air flow. What's AC without air flow, just a block of ice in the garage. 16 years after the original install they got the OEM part needed and replaced it promptly. Okay the part was expensive, but that's a Trane pricing issue. Still much cheaper than replacing the whole unit. Thanks Tony and Dial staff. read more

I'm in the middle of a kitchen upgrade. Took out the electric range and needed the gas range installed. Dial showed up in the appointment window and took great care installing my range. I will remember the fine service we received next time I have a plumbing or air conditioning issue. Mason came to my house this morning and efficiently took care of reseating a toilet, repairing fill/flush hardware in the tanks of three toilets, and fixing a leaky faucet, two non functioning sink plungers, and a slow draining sink.
