Number ticket system shows the number they're serving. A phlebotomist will signal the customer to open the door once they're ready to see you. Present your valid ID, medical insurance card, and medical form(s). In my prior and current visits, staff were very helpful and asked the customer(s) to verify spelling of their name and DOB. Glen is very personable and professional. We had a great conversation about the medical field. He was able to find ideal vein for a couple vials of blood. Instructed me to apply pressure and keep bandage on between 20 mins to not more than an hour. I thanked him and carried on my merry way. I enjoy going to this location for many reasons: Free parking in Town Center of Mililani. Early hours available ideal for those that start work in the morning. Open Monday through Saturday. Chairs have been moved inside to the right of waiting area. Able to service more patrons with new set up. read more

10-12-24 I came here twice this past week. Both times Wendy has been the most helpful and caring of the employees I encountered each visit. She goes out of her way to value you as a client. I am SO grateful that when I returned the second time today she recognized me and took my specimen. The first employee at 5 am couldn't find my lab request on the computer despite me showing it to her on my phone. I was sent home to print out the order and return. The last time I was there, I asked the technician to do the lab order that my doctor put in that morning. She did a different order and I had to go back two days later to get the correct order done. My doctor called to cancel the order than was done in error. Six months later, I am still getting a bill for the service and have had to ask my doctor to call to cancel the service again. read more

Nothing like fasting, waking up with no coffee, then driving to their office only to be told they have no request from my doctor. Then contacting my doctor to find out they sent the request a week ago! Ruined my whole day. Didn't help my anxiety and depressive disorders much. I happened to be in Mililani and had to do blood work. This lab location was close and convenient for where I was staying. GPS brought me directly to the building front. There were lots of free parking spaces available. I love free parking! It was a Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. A staff member called me in soon after I sat down. I told her I was a hard stick (hard to find my veins) and she was patient with me. She felt both arms on the inside of the elbow area and concluded that my veins were too deep and said that I could drink water for future blood draws because it helps pop the veins out. Quick in and out service, but you just got to be lucky at the time you walk in. My first time there was a line and you had to pull a ticket. You don't only get your blood drawn here but can also get the glucose test done as well. Second visit was faster. By the time I pulled a ticket, lady was already snapping on her gloves. Although I had really long needles injected into me for birth, I'm still a wimp when it comes to watching them draw. If you are the same, request the butterfly needle. It's smaller and less painful but takes a little longer to draw. read more

TLDR; friendly and fast! Yelp's map is misleading. Wrong location on Yelp map-- see my photo for correct location. Blood tests don't need an appointment, only covid testing does. I dropped in around 6am. No line. Friendly staff and fast service. They took me back immediately and the blood draw was quick too. This was easily the fastest I've gotten any blood work done ever. My phlebotomist was Melissa. She was above average-- not the most pain-free needle prick I've ever experienced, but definitely better than most. And she was super nice. Anyone having to get any type of Bloodwork done should come here. My injury has caused me to get bloodwork a lot here lately. I've seen the same nurse 3 times within a 2 week period. She didn't remember my name but she remembered my face. They're always careful and asking how I'm feeling or If it hurts. She also asked if she could do anything differently. I like coming early mornings between 5 and 6am. Most of the, I walk right in. So lucky right. The moral of this review is the early bird catches the worm. read more

Ok... so I go here to get blood work done on oct 12 around 8:15am... Pulled number 11... as I'm waiting I'm on my phone texting my daughter about my grandchild who was just diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia.. African American man calls out number 11... I hear it but I'm a little out of touch cuz my concern is my grandson... he yells it out again.. I raise my hand and get up.. HE GLARES AT ME!! I follow him inside where he asks "ID and insurance card"... NO PLEASE, NO THANK YOU.. Takes a copy of it and hands it to me abruptly...like he was sooo irritated at me or hated being there at his job greeting people.... I get my blood taken and I ask the make nurse if he knew his name.. he said "no" that this guy is a greeter and used to do covid testing.. As I walk out I see a female nurse and I ask her.. she replied, "Darius".. So Darius needs to NOT be a greeter, or get some training in treating people nicely, or just quit.. and get a job where there's no interaction with others.. I go outside and bump into my cousin who just went earlier... she tells me the same thing.. this guy at the front who called her by number had such a BAD and TERRIBLE attitude!! I always come here to get my blood work done for my anemia, high blood pressure and thyroid check and I always bring my 91 year old aunty here to do her routine blood work.. I've never experienced such behavior before.. It's sad that this facility has this kind of employee... So Shame.. so unprofessional.. read more

Horrible... I left this Lab location with bruised arm for the next 7 days. I did lab works twice in a week.. and to this date the puncture site in one of them is still discolored from the bruising. The staff are very rough... Two of the techs are with heavy hands and again, rough. , They just inserted the needle roughly. I could careless what gauge of needle they use to draw blood but it was painful than usual, and they were in hurry that I can feel the needle wiggling. And they seem to be in a hurry to get it done when I was the only patient/costumer there. It is both a blessing and a curse that I can tell right off the bat who has heavy hands and who is bad at their way of blood draws. I don't bruise up easy with needles but when I do, that's when you know it was done horribly. And don't get me started on the dismissive attitude. 3 stars because the results are fast but as far the staff I can only give 1. read more

I took a blood and stool test at Mililani DLS on 5/18/19 and called office twice before I called again 6/3/19 and spoke with Sabrina who said results weren't in and they will call Lab. I called DLS myself to follow up with my results and spoke with Lexas who said that office was sent results and that she will call dr office. 15 minutes later Shannon from dr office called to tell me as soon as they receive results they will call, but I told her that I had to generate the process and when I question what Lexas from DLS said that the results were already sent Shannon denied they received it. Umm? To wait for nearly 3 weeks for your test results is unacceptable, adding stress and anxiety waiting for it. So the clock is ticking to see how long I will have to wait to get a call from the dr. An apology would be appreciated also. read more

My poor mister, they usually have a difficult time drawing blood from him since he has thin veins. We had to return because the doctor said his results from a previous blood draw was never received. We both waited at his doctors office for 3 hours before someone at DLS called his doctor to let them know that they are unable to locate the results. The nurses here are nice, but they move too slow. 2 stars because of the convenient location and convenient hours. Parking is free and easy to find. Wish we can just pay our co-pay after each visit instead of having to receive a bill. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never been treated so poorly at a DLS in my life. DLS needs to add psychological evaluations in their hiring process because this phlebotomist was out of control. I work in the health field for 20 years of my life and have never seen a "professional" treat a patient the way I was treated today. I pull #2, the tech tells me coke in. I go up to the desk and she says "ID and insurance cards" I hand her my ID and tell her I've been here before and my insurance cards are on file. She tells me since you don't wAnt to give me your insurance cards you may be billed for today. I don't say anything because I know they have my insurances and I know she just has to say that cause that's part of their script. She asks me if I want to pee or get blood drawn first, I tell her pee. She ask to verify my name and birthdate on the cup. I confirm and she tells me meet her in room 1 chair 2. While I'm grabbing the cup I hear the tech next to her yelling at an elderly man. He yells at the guy "I was just saying!" And the old man says ok hold on I need to put my cards away". Idk what was going on with that, but that tech was taller than 5'6, messy black hair, wore glasses, and had a slim build. I should've got his name too because he shouldn't be yelling at patients but I moved on focusing on myself and my 7 year old daughter who came with me. I use the bathroom and come out, as I place the urine in the basket the tech comes up to me and says "oh we're in this room now cause they took that spot cause you were long in the bathroom" (I wasn't long). Went to sit in the chair, I asked her which arm would she like, she said doesn't matter. I begin to take off my jacket sleeve and my cell phone rang. I picked it up and said hello, then this tech WENDY begins to scream at me "get off of your phone! You need to hang up your phone now!" I tell my bf "I have to hang up the phone the tech said I can't take a phone call in here getting drawn I'll call you back". I think my bf said something like I'm sorry and he was saying bye but I wasn't able to hit end because I was shocked with my mouth dropped and looked over at the tech WENDY who continued to scream at me although she heard me tell my bf I couldn't take his call. I told Wendy excuse me but you are being unprofessional and I'm not sure why you screaming at me. She said "because you're still on your phone" I looked at my phone which was stuck in my hand because of my shock to Wendy's behavior, and it was hung up. My bf must've hung up after hearing the employee screaming at me. It didn't stop there, WENDY continued to argue at me and be rude and unprofessional. She went to put the tourniquet on me and said in a weird creepy stern tone "this is gonna be tight!" In the middle of her trying to argue with me. I told her I was aware and I hope she wasn't trying to intimidate me the way she was saying that. She said that I'm exaggerating, and my perception doesn't matter. I told her I'm in the health field and she said I should know about the privacy laws and shouldn't have answered my phone. I told her I'm not at work and Reminded her that she heard me telling my bf I couldn't take the call so why was she still being rude, unprofessional and arguing. She said cause you answered the phone and you're not supposed to. I told her I had no idea in their facility I couldn't answer my phone, there was no signs. She walked up to a shelf, moved some supplies to reveal a sign behind the boxes that had a picture indicating no phones. I told her I didn't see that behind the boxes. She said there's one in the front too, I told her I didn't see that either. Besides all of that, I answered and told my bf I can't take the call. I told her she was miserable and despicable as she's screaming at me and arguing in front of my 7 year old daughter. She eyed my daughter out and continued. She also took the tourniquet off my arm and said I can leave, I told her I'm not leaving because I did nothing wrong and if she doesn't like her job, she should leave. After I left, my bf was shocked that he heard a tech screaming at me the way she did and we checked the call time it was 21 seconds. WENDY an employee of DLS wanted to scream and argue with a patient in front of other patients, other staff, a student that was there to learn from them, and in front of my 7 year old daughter due to the other "patients privacy" she claimed. She should have been concerned more with her behavior as a professional in front of all those people, her mental health and keeping her job. That is despicable and if I did that in my scope of work at the Hospital, I would be fired. She does not belong working with people, or for DLS. That is shameful to have a person like that working for the healthcare industry. read more

I always have doctors appointments on Fridays, and need labs to be done within 3-5 days prior. But Monday-Thursday, I start work at 6:30 am, and I have to make that crazy commute from Mililani into town. Enter the Mililani Town Center DLS, which opens at 5am. They have been my saving grace. I don't need to take time off of work to get my blood draws. And it's kind of relaxing to just sit in the comfy waiting lobby before getting your labwork done. My experiences here so far have been positive. I have had bad phlebotomy experiences in the past at other labs. So far, every time I've been here has been quick, painless (literally), and I'm out the door on my way to work before I catch traffic, with enough time to pick up my caffeine before work :) The only tricky thing right now is that the construction going on in town center, and the occasional coned off parking lot early in the morning, can make getting to this place a little more difficult. But nothing a short walk across TC can't fix! read more

I had to visit here and, again, excellent service from this location. I usually go early to avoid the crowds. When I do, I can just walk in and be served. The techs here are always friendly and fast. If you have to do a urine sample, they have water available if you need it. Lab is clean and well kept. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to come to this lab for myself and my son's bloodwork. They are always busy and seldom acknowledge your presence as they leave you sitting and waiting while they struggle with deciphering lab requisitions. Inefficient operation, young and inexperienced phlebotomists. Total lack of knowledge of customer service. You're better of going to Clinical Labs. DLS train your people correctly and treat them better! Maybe then they will care enough to do their job!!! read more

I have been to the Mililani location on several separate occasions. The technicians I encountered on each occasion lack patient care and leave a lot to be desired in service and care. Although their words were polite, their tone of voice was always impatient and their actions always rushed. The lab seems to be busy and I understand that sometimes things can be chaotic, however, basic patient care should not be compromised. It is unfortunate that is seems that the overall tone of the whole place is not a positive one. read more

Every time I come here they're very nice. I read this checklists they have on the wall "did we introduce ourselves" did we verify your name"... yup they do it all. Never miss a check. This last time I had to get 5 tubes of blood taken and it was easy. Everything is very clean and it's always fast. read more

Staff not that friendly but was faster then usually. Went in at 7am only 3 people ahead of me. Only had to wait less then 10 minutes. That was a miracle. Normally I have to wait 30 to 60 minutes. read more

If I could give them a zero I would . By far they are the worse place on the planet to go to for drug testing. My company only allows us to go to this location. They have one restroom which means you are there for ever. I was there for an hour and a half today. They do not service you in the order in which you take a number. If a patient has blood drawn and needs a urine test as well they will stick them in the bathroom before you even if you have been waiting for over an hour and you should be seen before them. I questioned them on this and let them know this was not ok and all employees looked at me like I had 5 heads. I have work to do. I can't sit around for an hour and a half so you don't inconvenience the life of someone who is retired. I am writing this review as well as emailing corporate and calling them as well. No one should receive service like this. Sadly my co-workers have been selected numerous time and have gone through this every time and never said I word. I am not that type of person. read more

Not gonna lie. I been coming here ever since. I notice the employees are kind of slow an especially the big guy too. Some I can't even understand their language. It's either they have to hire a English speaker person. I do like how thy draw my blood. Other than that, I have to give it a one star. Why? Because some people there don't know how to draw blood.
