Everything - they like to delete Google reviews if you post something negative…read more After having gone to "a competitor" repeatedly for CT scans scheduled with a different doctor (for the same body part) I hope I do not have to come back to this place again. You'll get a harassing message about arriving 15 min early or losing your appointment (and another about being charged $100 if you don't show) but when you do show up early you won't be promptly checked in. The desk attendants were discussing voicemails that haven't been checked for 24 hours and other topics first. The patient screening form is rather lengthy and appears to be for all possible options, so make sure you know what your exam is for (so you don't consent to contrast if you're not getting contrast). Also, even after arriving 15 minutes early don't expect to be seen on time (or even early like I often was at Element). Maybe it was because I went on a Saturday? Once you do go back there isn't a place to sit and take off your shoes for an ankle scan. This was a little awkward as I had on boots that needed to be laced up. I did give a second star for Miranda who was the very nice and helpful technician. She explained that the doctor wanted me to have the scans and that it would be on a QR code that I could take with me. I did appreciate getting to take these home, but this also meant waiting. I'm glad it was the weekend and I didn't have to be anywhere else. Signed in for appointment at 10:55 Seen by front desk at 11:05 Appointment time 11:15 Taken back for scan at 11:30 Out of scan at 11:44 Left after wait for QR code 11:52

The front desk staff and medical staff who took my vitals were both friendly, prompt and helpful! While my vitals were being checked, the attending physician, Dr. Peterson chimed in as we joked around, she recognized me at the yoga place we both attend. Funny, I didn't recognize her but recognized me. I was so nervous going in but after the initial introduction at the hallway with Dr. Peterson, I felt much more at ease while she treated the infection. She was very thorough, attentive and took great length to explain the aftercare at home and medication for the infection. I highly recommend this Urgent Care in Olathe on 134th Street for the quality care they provide. ~ M. Lightner

I took my son here after a foot injury. Like most of us, the thought of waiting what seemingly…read morefeels like forever at an Urgent Care or ER only to be told everything is fine, take some ibuprofen and rest is reason enough to postpone seeing a doctor for as long as possible. But my son needed to be seen. I called the facility twice and spoke to a delightful woman on the other end who answered my questions and gave me directions. She wasn't pushy or rude despite calling more than once. The interactions with the front desk staff, the nurse (Susan ?), the x-ray tech (Amy?) and the doctor was extremely pleasant. They were patient, kind, and didn't seem to rush or cut corners. Even though the foot wasn't broken and we ended up leaving with an air cast and the rest/ice run down, I felt the appointment was productive and was confident with the diagnosis and recommendations given. Fast forward, we needed a note for school. The original fax didn't go through correctly. I called the next day to ask if they could resend the note. Now, I know they were busy because they put me on hold. Despite this, the receptionist who answered the phone was kind, responsive, and quick to resend the information I needed. Not once did I feel like I was an inconvenience which is rare in the world of medicine. Patience and kindness make such a big difference. Thanks for making what could have been a miserable experience all around, a pleasant one.

Worse hospital stay I have ever had!! I will list two of the problems. FIRST EVENT: A male and…read morefemale lab personnel came into my room. The male reached into the container he carried and pulled out a needle and turned to hand it to the female. The female place both hands on her face, turned and ran towards the door of my room (where she stopped) shouting, "Oh, I'm so scared, I'm so scared!!!" My response was to say to the male that I did not want her to draw my blood. The male lab person insisted that she draw the blood, and forced her on me, he would not listen to my protests. The female pushed the needle in my arm, then went searching for my vein. The male had to finish the job as she was able to do it. SECOND EVENT: At 10:00 pm one night an alarm went off on a machine that was attached to me. I called the nurses station to report the alarm. I was told someone would come right in. Nobody came. Thirty minutes later, the alarm was still ringing, but a new deeper sounding alarm started. I called the nurses station again and reported the alarm was still sounding and a new deeper alarm was going off. I, again, was told someone would be right in. One hour after the alarms had started a nurse who said she was in another patient's room came into my room and told me she heard the alarm while she was in the other room. I informed her of my calls to the nurses station and of their response and lack of response. She had no comment. A few hours later, I saw the nurse who had come into my room after hearing the alarm and I asked her if she had found out why nobody came in response to my reporting of the alarms and the nurse said, "Oh, they said they forgot." This happened while I was on the cardiac floor. Due to these and the other bad experiences during my stay, I would never, ever stay in the Olathe hospital again. So sad and disappointed in the Olathe hospital facility!!!
