Called because I had a check engine light come on my car. After taking it to Autozone to see what might be going on and after the recommendation of the tech at autozone I gave this mechanic/business a call. The woman that answered made me almost feel like an imposition for even asking for a quote. I simply needed to know a ballpark figure to see what having a cam sensor replaced might cost. She took down my information and told me she would call me with the information. This was on Friday it's now Monday night and have heard nothing. So I have made an appointment with another establishment. Simple communication would have been nice. Calling your potential customers back would be nice. I don't recommend this place, they blew me off and I need my car fixed. read more

The 1 star rating makes sense and should have been enough to drive me away but against better judgment I let Diagnostic Automotive work on my car. They were untrustworthy and unprofessional. Lied to me to make a few thousand bucks more and said many things were needing replaced that didn't. Owner and workers need a review in customer service. They 100% tried to scam me and they will 100% try to scam you. Took my car in because it was having trouble accelerating, the ABS light came on along w the traction. They told me I needed a whole new transmission and tried to charge me 7,000!! My boyfriend (who knows cars very well), my brother (who is a car salesman), and my dad (who knows and fixes cars) all believe it was the alternator. And it was. Never again will I go here. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! They rip you off big time! The work is poor (if done at all) and the cost is crazy expensive. They always say there is more wrong then what you bring it in for and up sell you to death. Original estimate $136.63 what I paid to get it back $728.83 I had to learn this lesson the hard way being a single women that lives close. I trusted them only to find out I was ripped off big time. In order to keep my business, despite their work load, they gave me unrealistic expectations as to when it would get done. They kept my car all weekend and when I got it back it had a pulley screeching terribly. I had to miss work because they said they could fix it, but they were sitting on it. This was the third time I've taken my car to them, because they are close. It's also the last time. They take so long, like a hospital waiting room, they bump you based on priority....only it's their priority qualifiers that they go by. More expensive car. More regular customer. I don't know. I also told them I was on a budget. The manager promised that he could get the needed repairs done within the budget. With a sigh of relief I signed my car over for them to repair. Upon completion, a weekend later, the damage had doubled my budget. The manager then threatened me like I was some degenerate who doesn't pay his bills. He said in order for me to get my car back, I would have to let him photocopy my licence and pay it all in full before then end of the month (payments) or they'll send me to collections. I was pretty livid but I begged and borrowed to come up with the balance. After all this, I finally got around to looking under the hood and behold, they cracked the previously perfect plastic engine cover. Not impressed. read more

This auto mechanic shop is probably the perfect example of a crooked business my girlfriend took her car in and got a quote on a repair and when she picked it up it was almost $300 more than the quote and the work they supposedly did removing intake manifold to do the repairs had not been touched unless they have magic tools that does not Disturbed the dirt and oil build-up on a 12 year-old motor if they have these kind of tools I would love some and when she confronted the manager he totally dismissed her concerns and basically told her it sucks to be you. read more

By far the worst service I've ever dealt with, for starters, I brought my ford ranger in for a misfire. They did a great job diagnosing that issue and fixing it, what I have a problem with is they changed the oil without leaving me a voicemail to let me know. After talking to them they didn't charge me for the oil, as I arrived to pick up my truck the gentleman at the counter held up a door handle and explained that one of the guys ripped it off. I told them I understand because this truck is 16 years old. So I proceeded to pay for the broken door handle and went on my way, as I arrived home I noticed my oil pressure was low, I figured it was the oil punp so I started tearing into it. Come to find out they overfilled the engine buy 2 1/2 quarts of oil. Causing cavitation or foaming of the engine oil making oil pressure low due to the increased air bubbles in the oil. What concerns me is it may have caused a detrimental damage to the engine. I'm only on this thread to make people aware of the shadiness that this place has presented to myself. How sad. read more

Great shop to fix and maintain you car. Nice and honest automotive experts. They are good to work with on figuring out what's wrong with you car. They don't offer to fix things that aren't broke. Their shop is always clean and in order. That they're not open on Saturdays or late in the evening says a lot. read more

I have never had this bad of service. I will never come back here. I tried bring my 1970 truck for the clutch replaced when I got it back it the battery cable had been rerouted so it contact the exhaust manifold. Then I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I had them install my fuel injection and got that back and they said that we can't Tune it. Your going to have to So I took it and tried. After trying for a couple months it turns out that there a gas and air leak that occurred because it was improperly installed. Now they want to charge me to fix it. read more

I had an appointment first thing in the morning and was told I had 2 others in front of me and would have to wait. I was fine with that but the staff were really rude. Been here twice now. Both based on family recommendations. But I have been severely disappointed both times. I only came the second time because I was needing an alignment and they're the cheapest in town. I get there first thing in the morning (Monday morning) for an alignment. I give them my car and ask for an estimated time frame when it'd be ready. The guy tells me that there's 4 other people in front of me and hopefully he'll get to it this morning. The bay is empty, and I was the only one there 10 mins after they opened. The staff are not friendly at all. The first time I was there was for them to inspect a used car I was thinking of buying. They told me the front brakes needed replacing. But after having another shop replace all brakes. The front brakes were brand new and the rear ones needed replacing. I can confirm it because I saw the brakes as they came off. Besides if a third party shop charges the same labor cost as a dealer. I'd rather go to a dealer who actually know my car. read more

Brought my truck in for a diagnosis. They diagnosed it as a faulty fuel injector (which was completely wrong) and gave me instruction that I needed to run my engine for 20 minutes at idle then drive it an hour or do to "retrain" the engine even though it was misfiring badley. My normal shop diagnosed the actual problem and fixed it and proved the fuel injectors were fine but that by running the engine like that through the misfire could have ruined the engine. I simply asked for a refund for the $81 they charged me for the diagnosis and with two follow up calls about it over the next 2 months I still did not even get a call back and the last time Brad simply told me to consider the lack of a response a "no" on the refund and hung up on me. read more

I WAS RIPPED OFF!!!! I had to tow my car into them to get it fixed, never been there before and I was reluctant to go there but my mechanic was out of town and it was close to our house so we went there. They quoted me $343 to fix it do I agreed to the services. They did work on it but said it needed an alternator, they wanted to charge me an ADDITIONAL $500 to put in an alternator I said not only NO but HELL NO!!! totally overpriced so we told them we would pick it up and have my guy do the alternator. When we went to get it the bill was now $560 when they had told us the previous 2 days before that it would be $343 and of course I had no choice but to pay that to get my car. They quote me one price then its higher when its time to pick up my vehicle, WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! VERY VERY DISHONEST ABOUT THE WORK THEY SAID THEY DID. They also did NOT do the work that they said they did, my mechanic said it wasnt touched.... oh and the alternator cost $130 and my guy put it in in an hour but they wanted to charge me an additional $500 to do that...I will tell everyone not to take their vehicle there because they will rip you off and take advantage of you. I went into to get my AC fixed because it would only blow hot air. I had informed them that I had put in a new compressor and a new drier. After I had dropped it off they had called me back told me that the oil was leaking out of the compressor they then over charged me 335.00 dollars which they said was "a fair price to fill my compressor and recharge my AC system". Worked for about 3 days and then was right back to where I started, when I went back into to see if they would stand behind there work and do right on there part they told me it was all my fault because I had installed everything wrong, which in fact I simple forgot one gasket, I also talked to the man who worked on my truck and asked him why he wouldn't have checked the whole system including fittings and hoses before starting work he told me that would be a waste of his time. They then wanted to charge me another 500.00 dollars to get a new compressor and install it. They simple did not want to work anything out with me and wanted to take my money which in fact I am a minor and felt that just because I was not an adult I was taking advantage of. And so I am out 300 dollars and now have no compressor either my AC system is as broken as it was when I first took it in. read more
