Very sad to see this place tumble like it has the last 12 or so months. The service has absolutely fallen off a cliff. The high turnover in staff is also concerning. The deli case hasn't been the same since last year it seems. Some of the deli meats went under some sort of overhaul, in my opinion, for the worse. I was on a mission to come and get one specific thing but it's not possible at Di Bruno Brothers! So today was cheese day. I lost my mind buying various cheese and crackers. There's are so many cheeses here I had to use Google for the items that didn't have markings explaining the taste or origin. Well that's cool it was educational and I had fun doing it with my mom. Di Bruno's boasts a large presence in this complex, it's very interesting and exciting. My mission? To pick up my order made in a food surplus app, it worked out rather well. The staff was friendly, my package was ready on time and I enjoyed the food. But I wouldn't call what I received 'Surplus'. There are so many things to choose from and it could be a bit overwhelming if you don't pace yourself. The condiments and cheese departments are my favorite. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to honey, mustard, chocolate, crackers, hot sauce etc. I want to complement the pleasant counter person Lacey and in the cheese area a shorter person (sorry) on 4/8/21 about 5:45 pm they were very very helpful although it was closing time. I used DiBruno Bros website for distant family holiday gifts. The products are phenomenal but their online gifting was not a good experience for me. 1. I purchased during an advertised special- I clicked through yet the promo was not applied. I cancelled and tried again- the code was applied but automatically populated MY address. Okay-I trined to cancel immediately- THERE IS NO OPTION TO IMMEDIATELY CANCEL AN ONLINE PURCHASE!! I sent a note through the customer service chatbot. No response until the delivery day. Latte was good and reasonably priced at 4 bucks for a Medium. Croissants and bagel display was inviting with quite a few options. Tuna sandwich at 12 bucks was overpriced for bread, tuna, sundried tomato and balsamic glaze. It was good, just not the best tuna sandwich for 12 bucks. I was in over the holidays and had a really awful customer service experience. I had spoken to the manager over email and the phone. He was to send a gift card to me in the mail as the weather was bad at the time. I waited reached out again never heard anything and the gift card was not received. I emailed again only to find out this person I was in touch with is no longer with the company. There was never a resolution and I never heard back from whoever took over for the first manager. With all this hassle I certainly will not be back again. It is not the same in Wayne as when it opened it is simply a generic grocery store with a fancy sign and over priced market prices. read more

It is maximum superata omnia. It does have rich people problems; 1. Small plate portion. 2. The roll is awesome but too big for this amount of meat. I second Jason V's review. I have been shopping here for years. It has always been expensive, but the quality was always excellent and it was a place I could get everything in one place. I haven't been in a few months, but showed up to get my stuff for our traditional Christmas dinner and they had nothing. Normally we get all of our cheeses and meats for our antipasto. Went to the deli and asked for capocolla, soppressata, and prosciutto. Was informed that they only sell dried salami, they don't carry capocolla. As for the soppressata, they offered the mini sticks as opposed to the large slicing soppressata. They used to carry two different kinds of the good Italian dry soppressata, not the American "deli" kind. As well as multiple capocolla. The deli person was rude informing that this is all they have ever carried. Thank goodness Carlino's is right down the street. They will be getting all my business from now on. read more

No DiBrunos will ever be as good as the one in the Italian Market, but this location does a great job. DiBrunos is located in the Ardmore Farmer's Market and it takes up nearly the whole thing. Walking in from the front, you will be greeted by the sight of DiBruno's grab and go section followed by various other DiBruno stations. Those include stations selling meats, breads and made to order items. When at DiBrunos, I usually go with their made to order items. They have some great things there. I especially love their marinated chicken, stuffed shells, asparagus, turkey slices, pasta and mashed potatoes. Today, I went with their marinated chicken, pasta and mashed sweet potatoes. It was delicious like usual. The chicken was flavorful, especially with the sauce. The pasta was fresh, smooth and was topped off with a delicious sauce. The mashed sweet potatoes were smooth, creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff is very friendly. My only concern is with the prices, which are very high. However, the food's quality is exceptional. I also wish that DiBrunos would move their San Pelligrino sodas back towards the check-out area by the made to order food section. After receiving a message in my inbox from DiBruno customer service, reaching out to address the photo that I uploaded on Saturday, I realized that I never actually wrote the review for my experience. So, here I go. My husband and I go to this farmer's market OFTEN. We go at *least* twice a month, and drive from about 30 minutes away to get here. It's not in any way convenient, and we spend a good chunk of our food money for the month here. This past weekend we sat in traffic for 45 minutes to get here, and then went straight to DiBruno for lunch (it was about 1:20 pm). I had eaten at this location once before and gotten a pork sandwich with broccoli rabe on it, and been disappointed because the broccoli rabe was very poorly cooked (basically it wasn't cooked at all). I was a little hesitant to try again, but we were starving, and he wanted it, so... I ordered the chicken cutlet Philly and he ordered a pastrami sandwich. We stood by the counter the entire time we were waiting (as opposed to walking around the market) and saw numerous people get their sandwiches before us, who I know for certain ordered after us. I think the staff could read the frustration on my face, because we kept being asked what we were waiting for. After being asked twice, one of the employees said that one of our sandwiches was "on the grill now." So, we continued waiting. Finally we get our food ($23.00 for two sandwiches and one bottle of water) and take a seat. I open my sandwich to find that not only is there essentially zero pesto on it (see photo), but that the chicken cutlet is freezing cold. Additionally, the pretzel roll that the sandwich was served on was so hard and disgusting that I literally ate the cold chicken and mozzarella with a fork (because I hadn't had one bite to eat that day) and threw everything else out. At some point someone put a free chocolate chip cookie in our bag, I assume as a gesture of apology for the long wait? But I don't know that for certain, because no one said anything to us. After this experience, I will not be patronizing this location again, and will instead spend my money at the other vendors who offer better customer services and tastier food. read more

Called their customer service line after 3 days and, you guessed it, they didn't answer. Left a message. Never got a call back despite leaving order # and contact info. Tried a sandwich once for lunch and it was good- took a bit to make but was worth the wait. I think $10 was a lot to pay based on its small size, but I get that a homemade Italian market will have higher prices. As far as prepared foods, I love love love the turkey burgers. DiBruno Bros. is Philadelphia treat you don't want to miss. They started as a simple cheese shop on 9th Street in South Philly and have expanded immensely over the years. They're now local to Ardmore and other Main Line towns, so I order dinner from DiBruno's a couple of times a week. Their food is always superb, a little on the pricey side but delicious! While DiBruno Brothers can be expensive, it is almost always worth it. They do such a great job of keeping their locations filled with incredible quality Italian products. I frequent their location in Ardmore because I work across the street, and whenever I need lunch, they almost always seem to have something that hits the spot. They offer all kinds of great meats and cheeses as well as all kinds of prepared foods, sandwiches and delicious breads and pastas. This particular visit required a sandwich for lunch, so I ordered a panini sandwich filled with oven roasted turkey, mozzarella cheese, lettuce tomato and hot peppers. Their sandwiches are always packed full of meats and cheese and served with delicious kettle cooked chips. Its definitely worth the 8.99 or so that they usually charge because of how filling it is. This turkey sandwich was fantastic. Nothing beats over toasted turkey that is sliced fresh to order. They use really great bread too, which always is the difference between good or bad sandwiches. I came here to get some cheeses for a wine and cheese night and the guy helping me was very helpful. He helped select the cheeses, nuts, jams and crackers for me. He even gave me a little background about all the cheeses. Turns out he's the son of the owner so maybe I just lucked out. I can add that every time I've been here the food, produce and meat is amazing. You know you're going to pay a higher price than a grocery store but if u want a real treat this is the place to go. Additionally I use this place to cater for my client events and they are always very professional. My clients are always a little impressed because I think dibrunos does carry a little more prestige than a Panera bread or something like that. read more
