Warman Ave.) were going to hop up and land in Greenfield. A call was made this morning for help and (04/25/2026) in a jiffy our friendly neighborhood Spectrum Technician Anthony showed up, was friendly and clearly knowledgeable and had everything back online quickly, fixed everyone's TV (so important to homes full of veterans) but what stood out was how he handled the visit. Professional, calm, fun, and made it no longer feel like a problem, but like getting a new toy. You could tell he was accommodating and that means a lot to those of us that are disabled, and he could hold his chin up, proud of making 30 of us in 3 homes all chipper. Spectrum should hang onto technicians like this. He was invited to come back for dinner but he was set on helping more people restore their service. If there's a way to request him again, I would. The invite remains open if he can handle us curmudgeons. It was one of those rare times when you leave the interaction in a much better mood than when you started. Anthony should be recognized for his work. He made a meaningful difference for about 30 residents across three homes. If there's a way to request him again, I absolutely would. He deserves at least a cookie. I am thankful we are using Spectrum.

When I arrived, two sales associates were helping other customers, so I understood there would be a wait. I was happy to be patient. What was frustrating was that during those 45 minutes, multiple employees came out from the back room, looked directly at me, and then walked away without saying a single word. No one greeted me, checked me in, let me know there would be a wait, or even said, "We'll be with you shortly." After waiting that long without any communication or acknowledgment, I finally gave up and left. A simple greeting and a quick update would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a Verizon store. I hope management addresses this because customers deserve to at least be acknowledged when they walk through the door.

I came into this location today as an existing Verizon Business customer intending to BUY 1-2 new…read morephones and add additional lines to my business account. Instead, I left without purchasing anything because this was genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. Before coming in, I had spoken with Verizon Business customer service multiple times over the past couple of weeks about the plans, pricing, and deals available to my business account. When I explained what Verizon had told me, the representative immediately disputed it and essentially told me he knew better because he worked on the sales floor. He even took me over to the large display to "show me" that what I was saying wasn't correct--only to initially pull up consumer plans. He then admitted they don't deal with many business customers. Eventually, he found the business section, where the pricing actually started showing the per-line changes I had been trying to explain. But being wrong wasn't even my biggest issue. His attitude and communication were. He repeatedly fast-talked me while I was simply trying to understand exactly what I would pay each month. I asked him multiple times to slow down. I even said, "Explain it to me like I'm stupid," because I genuinely just wanted a clear breakdown of what I was purchasing and what my monthly bill would be. Instead of simply slowing down and answering my questions, he became increasingly condescending and combative, repeatedly interrupted me, and then accused ME of being combative. While I was calmly explaining that I had been nothing but kind and was simply asking questions, he interrupted me yet again. I spoke louder for the final couple words of my sentence so I could actually finish what I was saying, and he immediately told me I could leave if I was going to raise my voice. So I left. I walked into a Verizon-branded store prepared to spend money and add recurring lines to my existing Verizon Business account. I walked out because a salesperson somehow turned basic questions about pricing into an adversarial interaction. I don't expect a salesperson to know everything. I DO expect them to be willing to listen, slow down when a customer asks them to, verify information they're uncertain about, and treat someone attempting to give their company money with basic respect. I hope management reviews this interaction because this was completely unnecessary and cost the store a sale.

So we have had issues with our home phone ( landline ) for about a year. I finally called and talked to a guy named Dan. I could tell Dan was sorta a computer geek. He was talking to me about ports, overlapping signals etc... He actually seemed knowable and trustworthy. We have been getting mailers about AT&T doing "Free" upgrades to fiber optics. So decided to up grade which is supposed to get us a better router, multiple signals and faster uploads. Appointment set for a few days after the call between noon and 4 to get it all set up. Supposed to take up to 4 hours. Two days later: Got the call from the tech about 1:05pm he was on his way. About an hour after the tech showed up I got another visitor. A young man who said he was my consultant. So he came in and we set up the Smart Home Manager app. Then he wanted to talk to me about our cellphones. I told him the companies we were with and that we were happy with them. He mentioned free phones and a $$gift card. I said nope wont be changing cell phone carriers. I didn't tell him but I don't believe in giving one company all my business. If that one company has issues then you are screwed. And my WiFi in my car is AT&T and it constantly drops my signal. Right at 4 hours later the tech was done and everything seems to be working. With new technology I didn't have to reset passwords on every item that was connected. That was great. He left behind the old battery backup for the broadband phone. He had to come back in and take photos of the new outlet and I asked him about it. He said it was costing the company too much to dispose of them so they just leave them behind. Im hoping I can at least take the battery someplace to be recycled. So far so good. Time will tell if this was a mistake.

I tried to upgrade my internet to hyperlink service, but the installer said he was unable to install. I have now been on the phone with Earthlink customer service for 2 hours and 20 minutes trying to cancel the hyperlink service they are charging me for. Even when I said that I made my decision to cancel hyperlink and stay with my DSL service ... they argue and try to convince me that they can make it work. Why can't they listen and respect a customers request? Even the current supervisor I'm with now is trying to convince me to stay on hyperlink. Instead of staying with Earthlink I will be moving all services (phone, email, and internet to different provider! And I encourage you all to change before you run into terribly rude and inappropriate customer service. Again, they don't care about you as a customer and provide no customer service. All they do is argue that what you want is wrong and you should continue to pay for a service that they can't install.

I received a confirmation number when I canceled the service. It turns out that it was a bogus number. I can't believe that a company would try to take advantage of a death in the family by lying about the cancelation and continuing to charge for the service. I will NEVER use Dish Network...EVER. I will also tell everyone I know that this is not a company to do business with.
