DEWS DOES NOT! In an effort to support a local business and thinking I would get better service than a big box store, I bought a gas cooktop from them. They also charged me $75 for delivery. They brought it in and stuck it in the hole on the counter and that was it. I get that they don't connect gas but they wouldn't even put the parts on the bottom that come with it for the gas to be connected to it. Now, I'm paying a handyman to do that for me. What a joke. I was dealing with a large home improvement store in North Myrtle Beach, (Lowe's) attempting to get a new washer/dryer installed. I made three, 4 hour trips to NMB after being advised that all was good for delivery. Three times, on the morning of delivery, I was informed that my dryer was back ordered. I finally cancelled the whole transaction. As renters were coming soon, I went to Dew's in a panic. Thank goodness! The employees of Dew's were so helpful. I was directed to the size that would work in the condo and within a few minutes walked out with a smile. Delivery was guaranteed for a specific day and actually came and was installed that day. Our 30 year old GE Wall unit was making terrible noise and had previously been serviced by a different co. which added 2 more years of life. We decided over the weekend to replace it. As soon as we got to the new place I tossed the bedding in the washer as we started the move in and found out the watcher didn't work and had ruined the new linens! Being brand-new to the area I was hoping to find a company that we would be confident purchasing from and using in the future for any additional purchases or repairs. Went into Dews early Saturday morning looking for small dryer part. They only had the part as part of a kit which had other parts I didn't need. The young man went into the back and found the part laying around somewhere and handed it to me. When I asked how much I owed him he said nothing. Hank knew exactly what we needed for our condo, and sent me an estimate, which was priced extremely reasonably. I would be in town a week and a half later, and was hoping to have everything delivered and installed while I was there. I arrived in town, went to pay for the appliances on Thursday, they were both installed on Friday. Delivery guys were all very efficient, polite and respectful of our place. i had called dews 3 times and no answer so I left a message and I text them about a needed dryer repair. They called me and I was not available - I called them back no one answers. I text them and asked to set up a repair from texting - yes was the answer - Robert will be there Friday from 11-2. pm The next day I received a call to gather information all of which was already sent to dews by text (location, problem etc) The woman I spoke with said there was nothing scheduled for Friday but for Saturday and she needed all this information again to set up for Friday. Really but I obliged. She then told me the window for the repair would be 11 - 130pm. I asked if Robert would call me when he was 10 to 15 minutes from my condo and she said he can't do that - really - a simple call or text (I am headed your way) She asked me about the dryer - I told her I could take a picture and text it to her if she wanted - yes she said - so I did. I now received another text cancelling the service call saying Robert said - due to the nature of the problem and the age of the unit he was not going to service the dryer. so I guess you only service new equipment? Would not recommend this company as they are absolutely helter skelter on how they conduct their business. read more

And they need to return my money and pick up Fisher paykelbecause I'm having surgery and must have a wash machine. I called another company for a new Speed Queen they will guarantee will work. My 93 year old grandmother called for a new clock on her wall oven. Her wall oven still works she just can't use the self clean feature. Casey did take sometime to order this part and charged her $500. This wall oven is 37 years old, she was worried about cleaning it after thanksgiving. Anyway long story shorter, of course I was upset at the cost of the clock (this doesn't even include the installation) as she is on a very fixed income and I can clean her oven. I had her call to cancel (within 12 hours of ordering) well, I came over to her house this morning and there is my grandmother very upset. She spoke to Casey this morning he was very rude (even though she was very apologetic) he told her he was putting her on a list to never order from them again and hung up on her mid sentence! I am so disgusted at this treatment! Just so you know Casey, I plan on replacing her oven for her (which is why I came over today) I was going to come down with her to your store to pick one out. This started out really bad. Needed a stacked washer/dryer for our condo in NMB. The sales man treated me like I was clueless. Told me he couldn't sell me the floor model bc it was tagged for someone else. He said I couldn't get one until Monday at the earliest. I told him I couldn't wait and that we leave Monday. Only in town for the long Thanksgiving weekend. He acted like he had been in my unit before and knew it wouldn't fit. He had sold others for our same building but NOT OUR UNIT. Well since I'm clueless you know he made me go back and measure the space. I honestly believe he didn't think I'd be back. He acted like he didn't want to sell us a unit. Miraculously when we returned he could sell us the floor model AND have it to us same day. The installers were fantastic. They saved the day. From purchase to install was only an hour. I have called Dew's for service on two occasions, and am a fan. They are the go-to business for repairing a stackable washer/dryer combo so common with all the rental units in the Myrtle Beach area. They always show up with just about every odd and end that might be needed for a repair, even if the unit is over 15 years old. They also sell new replacement appliances out of their store in N Myrtle Beach. As of a couple of months ago, they no longer install hot water heaters. They will refer you to another company for that job that is excellent, but I would recommend you check yelp reviews for the job because prices vary quite a bit along the Grand Strand. Dew's is absolutely awesome. I was on a short vacation at my condo in NMB and the clothes washer died on me on a Sunday. I left an email with Dew's and they called me back first thing on Monday. They set up an appointment for the following day to diagnose the problem, which went without a hitch. They needed to order a part, which came in on Wednesday. The only problem is that I had to leave first thing on Friday, while having some appointments on Thursday. Dew's was able to squeeze me into my only available time slot, showed up, finished up 1-2-3. Don't waste your time at the big box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's. Dew's has competitive prices, free, fast delivery and excellent customer service. We were in a pinch because a 90 year old friend of ours' refrigerator just died. She was desperate to get a new one quickly, before she had to start throwing out food. So, we picked her up and took her to Home Depot. Since they don't have any in stock it would take a week or more before we would get it and there would be a delivery charge. Hurried to Lowe's.....two week wait. Before leaving home I had done a search for Appliance stores in the North Myrtle Beach area and saw Dew's. Remembering that, I gave them a call. They informed us that they have lots of refrigerators in stock and could get it to us by tomorrow. We went there and sure enough they had a reasonable priced, small refrigerator ($500). Then the shocking part. They said if we were heading back to the house, they could have it there today. No delivery fee, no expedited delivery fee. Wow. We were so happy.
