I was shown pictures of the inspection and have a good grasp of home repairs, so I asked to be shown the suggested issues and the person from Four Star suddenly said oh, no big deal. Just so you know. Then when I asked about if he was going to replace the filters, he said he didn't have any and he only changes his when he remembers. And they "looked clean anyway." I'm attaching pictures to prove what a scam this company, or at least its employees, are. I then had to buy filters myself and replace them, giving less than zero value to their maintenance plan. I will be choosing a competitor from now on. I wouldn't let them change a light bulb.

They informed me that the new owner would've had 10 years and that I as a second owner would have five years and still have a years warranty on the unit, I ask them to come out for service. I called that morning around 8 o'clock. They told me someone would be here between 9 and 11 and they met that timeframe perfectly - Patrick was the service guy and he immediately found the problem. It was a backed up drain line he took the line apart and flushed it out blew it out actually cut a piece of the line out and put a new piece in and it was fixed in no time and back up and running there was a $99 service charge and of course labor and while he was here, he asked me if I would like to be signed up to have them come out and check it in the spring and the winter to make sure that the unit is in proper operation so I signed up for that and went ahead and paid for that service also. I would highly recommend Jake's AC

It did take a bit to finally get my system fixed, but they stuck with me until that happened. I am always willing to share good reviews when they are earned. Long story short, Joey did the initial trouble shooting, and Kenny and Corey installed my whole new system. Now I have a properly running system in my park model to finish out the summer. I have to say, I have personally learned a lot myself about how a duel head mini-split system works while observing the process and discussing issues. Thank you to Beach Air for making it happen.
