We switched to Atlantic H&C several years on a friend's recommendation after a "repair" by another firm deemed unnecessary in retrospect. Since changing, we have been delighted by service from Steven Allen (we always request him) who checks our system 2x a year. He explains things well, does only what is required to keep it running in top form, is honest and accommodating & "goes the extra mile" eg changes high-ceiling lightbulbs & filters beyond the reach of our ladder. read more

Great experienced technician! Glad I called this company. Stacey came out and fixed the unit within a few minutes we had air conditioning good as new! Thankfully it broke on a night when it wasn't too hot! But he told us that it would have only cost 20$ more if they came out last night when it broke.... He's as honest as they come and we really like that. We will definitely be calling them back to install a new unit when the time comes (unit we have is 20years old) which will be before next summer...... as I would like to have peace of mind that we won't have issues when it's super hot and humid. Because we told him we are going to replace it before summer, He explained every option and gave us his best opinion, told us about his company and all the different divisions and services they have that may be helpful to us in the future! I don't know if all of their technicians are as good as Stacey but he spoke very highly of the company and fellow technicians and that means a lot! Happy employees = a awesome company! Today was the second time I called Atlantic for service. Both times they were terrific. I called Atlantic to fix my A/C. The serviceman, Matt was here within a half hour of my call He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He went the extra mile and re fitted my drain pipes so it wouldn't happen again. I called on a Saturday and got a response from the tech that was being dispatched to let me know his status. A short time later a follow up call from another tech, Stacey Sellers. He was coming in place of the first because of a situation Wayne encountered. He gave me an ETA and was here within 5 minutes of it. I cannot thank Atlantic Heating & Cooling enough! I am a first time home owner and new to the area. So, when my hvac system wasn't working I employed the business that took over the service agreement that installed the unit.. long story short, after 6 different trips and 4 different employees they could not figure it out and were charging me HUGE amounts for labor and parts that weren't needed for a problem they couldn't diagnose. So, I called Atlantic for a second opinion, in which turned into them figuring out the problem and fixing it for a very fair price. The people who helped were very honest, informative, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Thank you to Johnathan, Kyle. Graham, Michael and Raymend. They displayed such great team work! They problem solved, communicated, worked well individually and as a team. They truly cared about this hvac quandary and Me! One day they spent 8 hours w/o lunch determined to figure it out! They even contacted the unit manufacturer for support! What the what!? Who does that!!? Atlantic Heating & Cooling does! To me this shows they want to help AND continue to learn so they become the best & most knowledgeable! In addition, it's a family owned company (even the owner came out to meet me & help)! I had an emergency with my AC unit where it suddenly stopped cooling in the intense summer heat. I contacted Greg Jones from Atlantic Heating and Cooling and he had his best guys out to me within minutes. They resolved the issue and I am very pleased. They also found fault with the original installation by another company and they will be coming back to fix those issues and do other work. I highly recommend this wonderful company! read more

First of all, unfortunately this company installed our HVAC system in our new home in Conway, SC. My builder must have gotten a really good deal! After 13 months of being in the home a valve stopped working. OK, things like this happen! Atlantic Heating & Cooling only offers a 1-year warrantee when all the competitors I spoke to offer a full 3-years labor and 10 years parts when they install the system. When I called and asked to see if there could be any consideration or discount for it only being one month over warrantee, and since they installed it, the answer was a resounding NO! They went on to tell me that there would also be a $100+ service fee to diagnose the problem, it would be charged to my credit card and it would be applied to the balance when completed. So, I said what the hell, they installed it, they know the system, so why not? They did come out identified a faulty valve and gave me an estimate of $1200.00 and the valve was under warrantee and was free. Now, I'm no genius, but I know that was an outrageous quote. So, I called one of their competitors who I never used before and received a quote the next day for $395.00 without a service fee and a longer warrantee than Atlantic Heating & Cooling offers. The work was done in 2 hours and the valve was under warrantee and also free. So, just do the math... Atlantic Heating & Cooling had to charge $550 an hour for labor, allowing for $100 for a Freon fill, while my new contractor charged $150 an hour for labor and $100 for a Freon fill and did not charge a service fee. Now, this is from the company that installed my system! There is clearly no other explanation except that Atlantic Heating and Cooling are outright crooks! They did also charge my credit card the service charge, while they tried ripping me off for the repair. Most importantly remember that many other companies will offer a 3-year warrantee of parts and labor if they install the system plus a 10-year parts only warrantee. Do yourself a favor, ignore all the positive reviews. They can be and are bought all the time! I have friends in their own business' that do it all the time! Take this sincere and educated review from a professional and run away from Atlantic Heating and Cooling and tell your friends and families to do the same. Good luck in your search! read more

I am President of an HOA in North MB and we used Atlantic for years to service our units. I was always happy with the service. Solid people, they had our annual contract, had our keys (since we had rental units) and they were always trustworthy and honest. I cannot compare them to others in the immediate area, but they are a good bet. read more

I will get right to the point.This is the company you want to have your back!i talking great service from the office to the field workers.They are fast in many ways,but at the same time dont cut corners,they get to the root of the issue,they installed my unit years ago,they maintain it.when i say they get to the root of the problem and fast,i had referred them to a couple in my complex,they had just moved in ,and ask me who i used?i told them altantic heating and cooling.They called for the 1st time this summer,about 2 months after they moved in,in a half hour a tech was there issue solved.they will do you right,they are a family company,which i used to work for a family owned company,i didnt know this until years later.But from the start they treated me like family i felt,for myself that goes a long long way.My advice to you is find out for yourself what i did.Honest company and people ,thats very hard to come by,and in these odd times we are in even harder to find. read more
