Very helpful staff. Didn't have whet we were looking for but they tried to help order it.

Each time I've shopped at Lowe's in Shallotte I've had a positive experience. The store is clean,…read morewell-organized, and filled with practically all your home improvement needs. The garden center is quite nice, and I recently scored some late season clearance mums for a $1 each. They'll last long enough to give my front entrance some color, and then I'll plant them in the backyard. Lowe's also carries large, 2-gallon watering cans for only $6. (Could not find any at Home Depot.) Recently, my husband and I were in the market to replace our 20-year old electric range. We shopped the Thanksgiving Day sales just about everywhere in town and online, and we found the best deals at Lowe's. Others must have figured that out as well, as the Lowe's appliance section was filled with buying customers on the Tuesday after the holiday. We waited about 15 minutes for assistance, and it was worth it to talk to an experienced associate. Looking forward to baking some treats in my new Frigidaire convection oven!

Ordered a zero turn lawn mower and was told that it would take 3 days to assemble. After I was told…read moreit was ready for pick up I rented a trailer to pick it up, waited for 1/2 hour before they sent it to the front and they pushed it on to the trailer. The owners manual was soaked by the rain and crumbled up into a ball, the spark plug was broken in half, the 12-V battery had only 2-volts and the tires had 4-psi (almost flat). We have been seeing this same mower sitting outside the front of Lowe's for days until I went to pick up my mower, was told that they sent that back to the warehouse, I believe that they took took it around back and gave me the same one, why would they lie to me instead of being honest, now I will never be able trust Lowes.

The lady returns my call back and states that they charge a 'diagnostic' fee of $99 plus tax will be $105 for the technician to come out and diagnose what's wrong with the unit. I explained, I don't need a diagnostic as i've already determined what's wrong with the unit, I just want the part replaced by someone else as it's a pain to disassemble the door and reassemble the door. Nope, she says, they have to charge a diagnostic in case they need anything extra. Here's my thoughts. I'm not some idiot that is going to waste your time or your money. I've worked on appliances and hvac units for years but at my age and with how i'm feeling, I don't feel like doing the labor. I get charging a diagnostic for those whom have ZERO clue, but i've already went through the troubleshooting steps. Here, i will outline the basics. 1. Turn off power. 2. Removed the kickplate. 3. Removed the junction box and subsequently checked for power to the unit. 4. My particular dishwasher has a control board. So I checked the pins for power leaving the control board, yep, 14 volts DC on the appropriate pins. 5. Noticed the diode light is stead 'on'. It should be blinking, much like a hard drive light on a desktop computer would do. That's the diagnostic that you folks would do. Nah, i'm not some country bumpkin. I kinda know what i'm doing, I just didn't want to expend the extra time and labor as i'm busy doing other things in my own business. It's ok though, you've pissed me off and i'll just do it my dang self and rest assured, I'll NEVER call you or suggest you to anyone for repairs.
