Dewey's never lets me down. For the pizza that is. The service is so-so at both locations I've been to. But I love that you can do half and half orders. They will automatically put lemon in your soda without asking, so you may want to curb that from the get-go if you are anti-lemon like me. The seating is good, the lighting not so much. If you sit at a booth, someone has designed the table lamps so the bare bulb is right at eye level. Caution: may cause temporary blindness. Moving on. The pizza is delicious. My fav is the white sauce with pesto, kalamata olives and smoked cheddar. It's a party in my tummy every time. If you are extra hungry start with a salad, they are delicious too. There are a billion choices for pizza in the area but Deweys comes up for us at least once a month. read more

The husband, my mom and I found ourselves without reservations or any plans for dinner on a Saturday night on a recent trip to Cincinnati/KY. There were a few places that were high on the list but without a reservation or waiting for hours it wasn't going to happen. We finally all decided on pizza, which was a good step in the right direction. Trusting my Yelping skills, it was left to me to find us some good pizza. So glad I chose Dewey's. It was exactly what we were looking for that evening...casual, fun, and very tasty! What we had: pizza and salad of course, as those are pretty much the only choices available. But I'm good with that...if it's not broke, don't fix it! The three of us split a peppercorn ranch salad. The large salad is def made for sharing. The ranch dressing was very tasty....so much so that I wouldn't let the waitress take away the extras because it just begged for my pizza crust to be dipped in it. We shared two pizzas - one more traditional with sausage and mushrooms and one non-traditional - the tito santana, which was the seasonal pizza. It was basically a taco salad on a pizza crust and it was awesome. They offer several desserts from the local bakeries in the area, and although we shouldn't have, we did. I mean really, pizza crust dipped in creamy ranch dressing kinda means you're not really worrying about calories anyway, right? The dessert was a creamy chocolate torte. Delish! read more

Quaint pizzeria! Met up with family for lunch. Having never eaten here we decided to give it a try. We thought there was plenty on the menu to choose from. If you can't find what you're looking for simply special order your pizza! We had the seasonal salad special: Harvest Salad Field Greens with Figs, Applewood Bacon, Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, and Boursin Cheese, tossed with our Apple Cider Vinaigrette (minus the bacon). It was delicious! The half order is plenty if you're also ordering pizza which the hubster and I did. We decided on the 11" pizza, except he wanted one pizza and I wanted another. No problem! Half caprice and half wild mushroom ~ perfect! The dough is wonderful. Besides the seemingly constant cool draft, this is my favorite Dewey's location. Service is always fast and friendly, and I like that the servers help each other. Also, salads are always perfectly dressed. If you are uncertain about what to get, I highly recommend a side house salad, as their vinaigrette is amazing. Love Dewey's pizza but realized we hadn't eaten there for quite awhile (pandemic and everything). So we went tonight! Seated right away, waitress came not long after. Harvest salad was great! Pizza was great. Giving 4 stars tonight for service. Girls, stop talking to each other, and pay attention to your tables. It wasn't busy, about 8 tables. We shouldn't have to try multiple times to flag you down for another beer. We shouldn't have to sit and wait...and wait for someone to bring our check. When you bring our beer, don't slide it on the table with a "here ya go" and not ask if we needed anything else (like the water we also asked for when we placed our order) before you bolt back to the soda station with the other girls. Food was great! Tables were clean and everything was filled, but ultimately it's the customer you're taking care of. read more

Like Karina mentioned, the entrance is in a funny place, but that doesn't seem to keep the place from being busy on a weekday at noon. I didn't have to wait for a table, but those behind me probably had to choose whether to wait for a booth or table or sit at the bar. I thought the Caprice pizza was one of the best I have had. Fresh tomato slices, garlic, olive oil, basil and fontina-mozzarella cheese on a hand tossed crust. The house salad is excellent, too, with pine nuts, goat cheese and cranberries. Like I said, it's a busy place which means it's kind of noisy. But the service is good and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. read more

Dewey's Pizza is awesome. Just learned today that you can buy just their dough and make your own pizza at home, which we will def. have to try in the future. I think their toppings and combinations are great. The Green Lantern is on my bucket list. I can never pull the trigger with the goat cheese. Anyone have any comments on the GL? Went in after work with my mother we ordered a couple pies (Cheese/Pep) and (Caprice) the Cheese/Pep was under cooked and the Caprice had way to much garlic on it which we're very big fans of. We first ate in the cafe in early December, 2019. My husband and I shared a gluten free pizza, half Socrates (with goat cheese instead of the usual cheese) and half "everything". Oh, the love I have for Dewey's Pizza. This is my absolute favorite pizza place. I get the peppercorn ranch salad and switch between the Ryan's inferno and classic pepperoni pizza. Dewey's has amazing crust on their pizzas. The salads are huge, too! If you're looking for a great pizza place that's much better than your average place, I strongly recommend this place. It can get pretty crowded so I recommend coming a little earlier than dinner rush or even after. read more

The Holy Grail of gourmet pizza. Truly the best we've ever eaten. Salads, calzones and dessert are top notch But you come for the pizza. My son loves a seasonal taco pizza they offered at one point. My daughter loves the white pizza. For me it's sundried tomato, roasted garlic, feta with maybe some bacon. The tomatoes are like candy they're so sweet. But it's the garlic that just makes it heavenly. It's a true roasted garlic, soft and nutty. Most places mince it or it's not cooked enough. Not here. You could seriously spread this with a butter knife. Whole cloves just covering the pie. Don't get me wrong. With all that garlic you WILL smell like someone's little Italian grandmother. It'll creep out of your pores for days. But it's so unbelievably yummy you will welcome it. Pricey for a pizza so it's not your weekly pie. This is our favorite pizza place of all! Dewey's really has pizza making down to an exact science. This location is always fast and friendly. I love that we can use the "no wait" app on busy nights. The open kitchen concept was beautiful and appreciated. Pizza was top notch and so was the service! I told our waitress we were running behind and our pizza was out in minutes. We used to love Dewey's. Went tonight to the Crestview Hills location and ordered our pizza extra well done as we have for years and years. Today our server told us she didn't think they could because they got new ovens but would check with the manager. She came back and told us the manager said no they couldn't but if we didn't like the pizza they would buy it back. The pizza had the same great flavor, but was soggy, under cooked and really not even hot. What was more disappointing than the pizza, was that neither the manager nor the server ever came back to our table to check on us. Other servers got refills for us and dropped off our check. It was like our server was deliberately avoiding our table. We would not have asked them to buy it back and it appeared to us that they just didn't care. We felt like the manager should have at least stopped by. That would have gone a long way. It wouldn't have changed our minds about the pizza, but would have made us feel better about the restaurant. Wow! Dewey's was outstanding! The wife had Blank Slate's Out & About Crisp Wheat, she loved it. I had Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan Brown it was really good. The wife had the seasonal Blueberry almond salad she love it. I had the Greek salad. Yummy! The wife had the 1/2 Bronx Bomber & Edgar Alan Poe with Amish chicken. She said it was sooooooooo gooooood! I had the 1/2 Cuban and the 1/2 Bronx bomber. The Bronx Bomber was outstanding and the Cuban was very interesting, but very good. The crust and the sauce was so good. They use fresh ingredients. There is not a freezer on the premises. We would definitely come back and recommend Dewey's to everyone that will be passing through or coming through this part of Kentucky. read more

Tonight I carry-out ordered a gluten free pizza and didn't ask for cheese on a make-your-own but didn't specify no cheese. I can't have cheese, so they happily remade it for me - totally my mistake. The manager even met us in the parking lot to give us the new one! I already know my order is high maintenance, but they had a good attitude about it.
