Now that takes some beating. McEvoys is one of those places that is just made for one of those ultra-rare-not-a-cloud-in-the-sky days. Set right on the canal just outside of Celbridge is this gorgeous pub. Full of walkers who have come along the canal on a stroll with their dogs plus lots of locals and even some lucky houseboat owners. The mood is always friendly and jovial, with an atmosphere that's second to none.
