By week 2, Ms. Andrea had her stretching and jumping and learning new moves and we watched as each week she did grow more coordinated and confident. We took some time off due to a schedule change but are back a few years later and we've appreciated seeing the way their instruction strategies grow with the age/development of the child. We've worked with Ms. Andrea both times and she is warm and engaging and teaches the kids both the real dance terms and kid-friendly catchy ways of remembering how to perform them. If you are looking for a very formal dance studio with uniform pink leotards, Dance to Evolve is not for you, the dress code is very flexible and it's held at the rec center, which works perfectly for us because our daughter lives it, it's convenient for us, and our other child gets to play on the playground while her sister dances.

I have called my credit card company to block this merchant and dispute this charge; as the studio does NOT reply back to their emails unless you are a new student or enrolling. Not a happy camper!

She also teaches ballet for small kids there and I got to know this location as she invited the gym friends for her inaugural class. It was easy to find parking. The dancing room is very spacious, with great natural light and good acoustics without bothering other classes at other rooms. Now we joined our friends at "love to dance". we just started mid year after they hosted one of our girl scout troop meetings (what a great idea for a meeting!) almost like a yelp event =) my daughter resisted strongly when i enrolled her ...but she is loving it!!! the staff and Mindy (owner) are super friendly and helpful...they remember each and every person they meet. That shows me how much they care about the students here. I hope that my daughter continues to take classes here and be comfortable in multiple forms of dance. While my goal is not for my daughter to be a pro dancer...they definitely are pumping some of those out of here too!

I really want to like Bay Club because the potential is obvious, but the execution is…read moredisappointing. I used to go to Life Time, and the difference is night and day. It honestly doesn't take much to make a gym great, but Bay Club feels stuck in the past. The men's locker room is gross and smells. There's a persistent musky odor that's hard to stomach, likely coming from old carpet that's clearly been there for years. The men's showers are equally bad, with hair everywhere, inconsistent cleanliness, and low water pressure, which makes the entire experience feel unhygienic and poorly maintained. The men's sauna is especially concerning. There appears to be little to no ventilation, creating a heavy, stagnant environment that can allow dangerous CO buildup. On top of that, the walls and benches in the sauna are extremely outdated, reinforcing the sense that this space hasn't been refreshed or properly maintained in a long time. The products provided (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) are low quality and full of questionable ingredients, which feels completely out of place for a club charging premium prices. The weight room is constantly messy, with plates scattered everywhere and mismatched equipment. It feels chaotic instead of intentional. The outdoor gym is another huge missed opportunity. With the space and climate, it could be incredible, but instead it feels underdeveloped and outdated. Overall, everything just feels old and complacent. There's so much opportunity here, yet it seems like no one is pushing to raise the standard. After experiencing what a well-run gym can be, this falls short. I'll probably be canceling soon unless major improvements are made

She trained rhythmic gymnastics at the pre-team level with Miss Sofia, the head coach of the club. I can't fully express my gratitude for Coach Sofia's wisdom this season in approaching all the girls in a way that preserves pure joy for this sport. My daughter has been genuinely happy to come to every single session -- and she's been training nine hours a week since February. She made friendships easily, and I truly feel the environment encourages that. We cheer for all the girls without comparing them. She competed without any nerves, because no pressure was ever placed on these young athletes. I believe she received a wonderful foundation. What matters most to our family is that we have a child who is excited to continue her rhythmic gymnastics journey -- and that says everything. Thank you, Coach Sofia. I also want to mention that San Diego Rhythm has an Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) program, and my daughter Matilda was part of the team for 4-6-year-olds. Her AGG coach was Miss Lina, and Matilda absolutely loved spending time with her and her teammates during practices. Miss Lina kept the little ones within boundaries beautifully while always showing them warmth and humor. The AGG experience left a lasting impression - Matilda still asks me when they'll do it again. We're so grateful for both sides of our experience at this club!

I'm normally not a social media person, but I have to leave an amazing review for him because he deserves it! In such short amount of time (4 lessons), Dan was able to help us be comfortable with each other, learn our body movement, and choreograph our first dance.
