Great place to watch the game with great friendly staff! They have a great peek-a-boo bar so you feel separated from the rest of the bar/restaurant which is really cool. Good food menu and great drinks.

I was looking for the Cloud Brewery and since we couldn't find that place, we stumbled upon Devine's! Chill inside, relaxing, was able to drink a blue moon and watch sports. Bartender was nice and welcoming!

custom calzone that I requested to be lightly cooked. i love that it's always loaded with ricotta.

I love Pizzeria Toro and Cugino Forno but my favourite NY style pizza is at Devil's. i learned about them through UBEREATS (no, I am not getting paid to write this). i genuinely like their pizza. It's a weird hole in the wall institution you (sadly) may pass by. Yet, their pizza and calzones are some of the best in the central Durham area. i can call, order from Uber eats, or place an order online and it always arrives perfectly. i prefer to order through their website because they read the notes you leave about preferences. their desserts are solid and so are their sides. I usually get a calzone that is loaded with ricotta by standard.

Devine's is the most puppy friendly place in Durham. If you come, tell 'em Stormy sent you.

I have to say the draw of Devine's changes with the seasons. Great place to watch the NFL in the fall, basketball in March. Right now it is a pleasant summer evening in the midst of a pandemic and I'm sitting at a properly social distanced table enjoying a beer and the best wings in the Triangle.I have my pup with me and it is not only OK it is encouraged. And BTW, the pup literally drags me here. Absolutely loves Danya and the crew.

The drinks were strong, the burger was delicious and the service was just attentive enough to get what I needed and then they left me alone to enjoy my meal in peace. Be careful though. If you go for that third drink you may need to wait a while before you can safely drive home. 2013 #187 / 365

Celebrated some milestones with co-workers here. Modest bar with a good beer selection and, what I'll have to agree, are some of the best wings I've ever had. We had a great time and our server was attentive and friendly. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night, but probably gets packed during games.

Chicken fingers ($7ish) were a disappointment.

I stand by my previous review overall, but a few things to note. (1) Last time I was there I was craving chicken fingers and was disappointed with theirs -- they tasted frozen food-esque. (2) The condiments didn't help: watery ranch, questionable honey mustard, and mayoish-tasting bleu cheese. (I ran the whole gauntlet of them looking for something workable and came up emptyhanded.) (3) Lastly, I think the beer prices are on the spendy side: $4.50 draft is on the high end of comparable bars in the area, and close enough to the Joyce, the Fed and other bars that I tend to go to the others when I'm just in the market for a good place to get a beer. Burgers, onion rings & sandwiches are good (see earlier review), and of course a good place to watch games.

    Mild wings! So good...

I've always enjoyed my experience at Tobacco Road. The food is ALWAYS good, and the drinks are good too! The staff and service have always been great as well! They don't take reservations, but you can add yourself to the waitlist ahead of your arrival if the function is available. This is also a great place for a private event. I've been to quite a few of them here and have had a great experience as well. Although there is some street parking available around the restaurant, the best option is to park in the parking deck a short walk nearby. Although they are well-known for their bar food, one of my favorite entrees is the Greek Lemon Chicken! It's so tasty, and the flavors complement each other well. There are tons of tvs to ensure you can catch the games as well! Highly recommend!

We visited mid week before going to see a show at DPAC. We joined the waitlist before we headed over, there were at least 10 others on the waitlist in front of us, and we got a table within about 5 minutes of arrival. They had half price glasses of wine, and I had the chicken salad sandwich with fries - crazy low prices for downtown Durham!

So I asked yelp to recommend a place for a birthday dinner. This was the first on the list. So…read moresince I couldn't get a reservation on my birthday to the place I originally wanted to go, we decided to come here. There is plenty of parking on the backside of the building, paid parking out front, and be careful not to park in the apartment spaces on the side...they sounded pretty serious about towing. I had made a reservation but it was probably unnecessary as it was pretty empty when we arrived (it was about 5pm on a Saturday.) The waitress brought a bottle of water to the table and took our drink order. And I know that this place is literally call it's a Southern thing but can I mention how much I dislike drinking out of mason jars? I ordered the chicken n biscuits, my husband got the country hamburger steak plate, my BiL got wings, and my SiL got the crabcakes. We also orders charred jalapeno & sweet corn hushpuppies and frickles as an appetizer. I was VERY excited about my food. Y'all...the only thing that impressed me were the Frickles. Everything else was distinctly underwhelming. I also ordered Blackberry Betta Have My Money which was not that great. My SiL ordered a espresso martini that they said didn't come from a mix but she said it tasted like it was. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor and the vibe were great. Cute even. I really enjoyed that part of it. After dropping off our food, we never saw our waitress again unless we flagged her down for drink refills. It was especially frustrating since there was automatic gratuity added. And since the place wasn't that busy, it felt like she didn't feel the need to earn her automatic tip. Overall I was disappointed in my birthday dinner. I won't be coming back here.

Both were warm and flavorful. We had an abundance of pita bread to dip in the crap dip. The sauce with the frickles was fantastic. I ordered the Dr Pepper wings as my entree and they were fall of the bone tender. Something so different about smoked wings versus fried. I washed everything down with a Bull Durham beer and it was flavorful and a perfect pour. Parents got the smoked chicken and shrimp and grits. See the attached photos.
