Went here with my friends for dinner. The ambiance is okay. It's just your average sports bar. Pretty cool that they have two levels though. Our waitress was really really nice! She made the experience pleasant. The food was where I took points off. I was starving, and I heard good things about the Cajun Alfredo pasta, but I was a little disappointed. The sauce was quite watery instead of creamy, and I thought it lacked flavor and cheese. The shrimps were well seasoned and tasty though. The garlic bread was DELICIOUS. That was a pleasant surprise. Service was excellent and the prices reasonable, but I was honestly disappointed in their selection of brews. With so many great local breweries across North Carolina, it's hard to get excited about a tap lineup dominated by Budweiser, Sam Adams and Blue Moon. It's okay--just okay. The service, food, and overall experience are decent, but nothing that will blow you away. I went with a group of four, and while it's a great spot to watch a game, just go in with the expectation that it's standard bar food. One odd experience: we were initially told we couldn't order Old Fashioneds, even though they were on the menu and the bar wasn't busy. Highly recommend!! My friends and I stopped in on a game day and the place was crowded. We had a party of 7 so I doubted that they would even be able to get us a table but they seated us pretty quickly. The waitress welcomed us right away and checked in on us multiple times. I had the peal and eat shrimp and a caesar salad. Both were delicious but look at the caesar salad portion size!!! It was gigantic for $6 I was highly impressed. The peal and eat shrimp tasted really good with a little lemon squeezed on them and i believe their cocktail sauce is homemade. My boyfriend's wings were really good and the fries were my favorite. I came here on a Monday night for dinner with a large group. We reserved the upstairs area as they have an open space for a large group of people. We had a group of 15 people, and we were all able to fit. The table set up is similar to bar seating where you will be seated next to people, but no one will be sitting across from you because the tables are too narrow. As for the food, I thought it was pretty average. It's your typical bar food with burgers and wings. I ordered the boneless buffalo melt. I thought it was decent because I was craving fries, but the boneless wings were dry and bland. I thought they had great drink specials. They have drink specials just about every day of the week and on Monday's they have $3 pints. Overall, I thought Four Corners was decent. It's your average sports bar. The inside is cool, and I'd like to go back sometime to just sit at the bar and have a drink. I'm not impressed with their food though. There were 6 of us here for lunch, and the service was good. The wings were meaty and tasty, but the hot wasn't nearly hot enough. The buffalo shrimp was good but would be better without the breading. The fries seem to be slightly breaded which I think is gross and unnecessary. The handmade chips were cold and chewy. The beef of the burger was good. The pickle on the side was pitiful. Just don't bother. The salad was blah. The chili wasn't even a little bit good. Clam chowder was good. The ribs were good but had to be returned because there were two pieces of hair on them. Four corners has a bustling atmosphere and has sports on ALWAYS, showing the top games. The food here was good too and the Jumbo wings I had ordered tasted amazing, service wasn't too slow and we got seated and our drinks rather quick! The main feature of this restaurant is the 3 layers and it being 1 1/2 floors tall, having a middle layer, a bottom layer, and a top layer, with the middle layer housing a bar. Employees are nice and understanding although sometimes hard to hear over the crowd in there, also told us not to mind the professional wrestlers in the entryway, but it wasn't that much of a problem to endure or warrant a drop in stars. Food today was NOT good but the service was REALLY good. I had the fish & chips - really I had a plate of greasy fried batter with some potatoes and some dry ribbons of fish. I regret not sending it back and eating as much as I did... it isn't setting well now that I'm home. I told the wait (when he asked) that I couldn't eat most of it because it was so saturated with grease. He said, "I'll tell the kitchen." When he came back he said they just shrugged. He was sorry. I asked him to honestly tell me what he thought about the fish & chips there and he said he didn't eat the fried food there. He then told me he'd had a # of complaints about the greasy fries but the kitchen didn't seem to care and he thought that 'was weird.' He was solicitous and attentive and did the best he could. He is the reason this isn't a 1 star review. This part isn't about food but - the men's room was out of t.p. Thankfully I saw that before I needed it. I ordered food from here during COVID-19 so my experience is only take-out. If you are looking for classic bar food at a relatively affordable price (with some deals) then Four Corners is the place to be. I got their 10-piece wings and they were delicious and filling. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Sweet and Spicy Cajun and the Garlic Parmesan flavors (see picture) as they are my favorite among all the flavors I have tried. One thing I would like to bring up that I believe is important to discuss about restaurants during COVID. When I went to pick up my food during the first day of Phase 2 reopening in NC, I saw that there were many customers who were in the bar without masks or any kind of face covering. Although to be fair, the servers and bartenders were indeed wearing masks, I do not believe it is enough to inspire sufficient confidence for me to visit the restaurant for dine-in anytime soon. Great spot to stop in for a drink. On Monday it was $1 wings, with orders in groups of 5 wings. I went for the sweet and spicy, basically sweet chili sauce wings, but they were good. Jenna was the bartender and was friendly and quick to make sure I had a drink. Definitely check this place out when you're in town. read more

I recently tried Four Corners for lunch, and since I'm a club sandwich aficionado I decided to give the Ram's Club a try. Overall, I was not impressed -- the turkey in the sandwich was not the deli-sliced variety you see in the menu photo but instead looked like some kind of mystery meat that had been sliced from a preformed roll. The sandwich was also a single decker and not a double-decker like a true club sandwich should be. Still, it tasted good. I look forward to to trying some of Four Corners' other offerings, but I think I'll pass on the club sandwich next time. read more

It's always great to be back on Franklin Street especially when it's basketball season and Four Corners is a convenient spot to catch the game! Even though it looks small from the front, Four Corners goes back a long way and has dual-level seating on one side. So yeah, it holds a lot of Tarheels at once! Food is going to be fried and sauced, we tucked away some garlic fries and wings, tasty stuff. The Miller Light pitcher specials ($7) are a deal and they also run a regular special on Absolut singles and doubles ($5). We got a complimentary pitcher of Fat Tire 420 from the beer rep girl so life was good! The best thing about Four Corners is the service, the staff there is pleasant and make sure you're taken care of. If you don't come in here expecting much more than a good sports bar you'll be plenty happy here. There's a saying that you can never go back but if you do go back to Chapel Thrill, Four Corners is a great spot if you're a dyed in the wool TAR! HEEL! Four corners is consistently redeemed by its after 10PM half off menu items deal. The food there is good, but a little over priced, so cutting the price in half makes it a genuinely good deal. I love getting the quesadilla appetizer and there is a delicious pimento cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado sandwich that's amazing. Last but definitely not least are the fries, the fries are the best in town. BUT the service is consistently very slow. So much so that it is a deterrent from going to the restaurant, especially if it looks at all busy. If you're prepared for slow service though and use the half price after 10PM deal (only valid with the purchase of a drink other than water), it's for sure worth it. read more
