I emailed the support team twice - no response. Called the support team - no answer and they dont check voicemail. I ordered a phone on July 29th and have heard nothing about its whereabouts! Today is 8/11/16. . I have tracking information but USPS says its "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on August 1, 2016 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if/when available." At this time I am going to cancel my order, pray for a full refund, and order my phone via Amazon prime - where I always get good service. Slow service. Was sent wrong item. Clearly was not a 60 day returned item as advertised. I have phones, years old, that look new. They ignored my refund request for months. One star is too much for the kind of service I had with them. I ordered two iPhones with screen protecter covers. The only email I received was the order confirmation with delivery estimate. Around delivery date I noticed that no shipping info received yet, so I called their contact number. They have answering machine only, so you could leave a message and/or email them, but no customer service... The phones were never shipped until a couple of days after I send them email and left a voice message to REMIND THEM!!! They arrived over a week late than the date estimate on the order made... I also received one iPhone with different color than the one I ordered, its just whats available in their store I guess... Placed my order on 5/21/17. Was told by Katie (rep) on 5/22/17 that handling would take no more than 3 days and that my phone would ship on 5/24/17. Spoke to Katie again on 5/24/17, who said my order would be going out that evening. I explained that it was a time sensitive issue and she reassured me that it would be shipping that day. I didn't receive an email with my tracking number, so I called periodically throughout the day on 5/25/17 but conveniently nobody answered all day. I again spoke to Katie on 5/26/17 and she said due to a natural disaster in the company's area, they couldn't ship my phone out on 5/24/17. Mind you, I live 30 minutes north (Jacksonville) of the company's physical location (St. Augustine) and I can attest there wasn't a natural disaster. When confronted with this, Katie claimed the natural disaster was a tornado WATCH (a watch is when there is the possibility of a tornado and a warning is when a tornado is on the ground). My head almost exploded from the stupidity that was spewing out of this imbecile's mouth. She either didn't remember talking to me prior (even though she's the only one who answers the phone or chat) or she's not smart enough to keep track of her lies. Katie then said my phone would be shipping shortly. And here we are. It's 5/27/17 and I've been provided a tracking number from the USPS. But guess what? The tracking information indicates that the USPS hasn't received the package from the company, only that a tracking number has been assigned. The earliest my package will be mailed now is on 5/29/17, which is 8 days after ordering, 5 days after max handling time. This is completely unacceptable and terrible customer service at best. I wish I would have read the other reviews on here before ordering from this deceptive company. This company has 2 websites that I know of. Devices-now.com and UnlockedCells.com. The UnlockedCells.com site uses a review company called "ShopperApproved.com". Conveniently, you cannot see nor read the negative reviews for this company. It's full of generic reviews that are almost certainly written by a team at ShopperApproved.com. There's a reason why Devices-Now.com created UnlockedCells.com. I see that I am not alone. I have not received my order (Ordered on Feb 21st and it is now March 6th) and cannot get a response from Devices Now. The automated Email reply to my 'Ticket" said they were moving, but the promised shipping info and tracking number was not sent. Ok. My phone died (screen turning off randomly) after less than a year. Never had this experience with a Samsung phone. I think it was already defected or fake. Watch out. Not worth it. If you are not in a rush to receive your phone- this site is for you. It's cheap and the phone arrived in a good condition. However, in addition to the shipping time, expect around 10 days handling (which they only tell you after you call, if they decide to answer, which they never do). (Btw, there is no phone number on their website, under contact us section, just a mail option opens, I had found in the order confirmation mail.) I told them that I did not return back the phone for nothing, it was not matching description in their website. So, the arrangement fee was not acceptable. At the beginning, they did not accept that phone was a mismatch with the description, and they tried to convince me. Every time I say something, the lady on phone told me "I need to ask my boss", and back and forth like this, we spent almost 30 mins. After 30 mins, they told me that they could keep the %5, and give me the %10 as store credit. Then, I told them that if they had offered this at the beginning, before trying to convince me, I would accept. However, after that much talking, I did not accept that. They told me that, finally, they needed to escalate this to supervisor, and supervisor was gonna call me within 48 hours. I had waited 9 days, nobody called me, and then I called them back, and reminded all these things. I felt like I was experiencing a "dejavu". The lady kept saying "I need to ask my boss", and they offered the same thing. Finally, I told them "I am the victim here, and I will use all my rights to go consumer protection organizations, and I am gonna escalate this, in fact you did not. I would like to type this part big and bold because they were really bold. They threaten me to sue me back because of my slanders. I did even put the messages between me and the company. My bad experience with this company started June 20th when I purchased a cellphone online. It didn't ship on time and when I received, it was locked. It was returned and the replacement phone couldn't be updated so it was returned. I was informed I would receive a refund. It's now December 6th and I'm still trying to get the refund. The last response I received was October 19 stating they were having issues refunding to my credit card. Odd, they didn't have any issues charging to it. I have tried to call many, many times. They do not answer and have a recording that will not allow you to leave a message nor transfer to a dept. I've put in many, many help desk tickets. This company is an absolute fraud! Caution to all potential buyers: do not order ANYTHING from them. They will bill your card immediately, send you an order confirmation that goes stagnant, and you hear nothing from them. If you are lucky enough to reach them (very difficult) to inquire, they will lie to you and tell you that your order is about to ship. Then they will provide you with a USPS (or similar) tracking link. If you check that link over the next several days, you will see that the USPS hasn't received any package from them and is waiting for a package. Then, once you realize you've been scammed, and contact them (emails, blog, phone.....none of which will receive any responses) to cancel your order and refund your money, you are again in a waiting mode. Then, two weeks later, you check the USPS tracking link, and find out they shipped a package anyway (despite having told them to cancel your order two weeks prior). Still haven't received any refund of my money, and will be REFUSING to accept their package from USPS. I have filed complaints with the BBB, State of Florida Fraud Division, my financial institution, and the FBI IC3 internet crimes task force, and would encourage all people who have been similarly ripped off by this company to do the same. I don't know if I will ever see any of my money back, but I will continue to file complaints to any agency/source that will spread the word of this fraud. Buyer beware! After a few days (although it notes no more than 48 hours response time) of no return email or call, we decided to send the phone back. To do this you must request an RMA on their website. I requested an RMA and followed up repeatedly. I also opened another "ticket" to try and get information on the RMA. It has now been three weeks with no response from the company. For the past month and half they have been giving me the run around saying Paypal is not letting them refund me! I contacted Paypal and they said they were never alert to do a refund...So if you are getting messages that say this - "PayPal gateway has rejected request. This transaction already has a chargeback filed (#10009: Transaction refused)." from a Devices-Now employee, know you are being scammed. Paypal said there is no such thing! I ordered a phone through their website unlockedcells.com. Probably the worst online ordering experience of my life. I placed my original order on 11/28/16. There was an issue with credit card processing on their end that they notified me about a week later. They finally refunded my money back to me after another week, gave me a $10 off coupon code and told me to reorder and they would expedite shipping free of charge. I finally received my refund on 12/13/16 and immediately reordered. I used the $10 off coupon code, but unfortunately they increased the price of my phone by $12 so I saved nothing. I then contacted support like they instructed to get expedited shipping. They finally printed out a First Class shipping label 3 days later. It is now a week later and the USPS has still not received the shipment. I have not heard anything back from customer support despite repeated efforts to contact. Their live support is not based out of their location, so they therefore have no more information about your order than you do. This company is a complete joke, and I regret giving them my business. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks for the cell phone you want instead of dealing with the headache this company will likely give you. read more
