So I didn't know what to expect since it's been a long while since I've been to a gym that isn't my garage, or CrossFit oriented. The workers were pretty friendly at check in. Making my way to gym 1 and 2 were great. Very big variety in equipment in both gyms. But I didn't get a chance to see gym 3. I went in on an early Saturday morning and a late afternoon Sunday and it was pretty slow, I didn't have to wait for anyone on the equipment and vise versa. There were people with cameras and tripods but that didn't bother me. If it's something that bothers you, just a heads up with that. I'm excited to see what they come up with the storage space they have in the parking garage, as one other review mentioned. It would be nice to have a sauna or even some ice baths, but who knows. The gym is smaller than I expected but don't let that take away from how epic this place is. I live in Cypress and was in Sugar Land staying with my mom while my house gets some work done. So it's hard for me to justify a membership when I live so far, and I have plenty of equipment of my own. BUT, I think I'll make a habit of dropping in once a month for a change of pace. 10/10 WOULD recommend for everyone. Don't let the scene intimidate you, most gym enthusiasts are very helpful and approachable. Truth be told, most people aren't even paying attention. Give it a shot

The front desk rep was extremely unapologetic and rude and told us we should have gotten a written statement for the free day pass?! What?! I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of customer service. I was so excited to try this gym but for $29.99 for a day pass, I'll pass. After we were disappointed and left, the front desk rep didn't even care. Even an apology would have gone a long way but hey that might cost me another $29,99!

Just a few others were in the gym and I was able to get a great workout in. It was a small fee to get a day pass. They have an abundance of cardio equipment (treadmills, stair masters, rowing machines, a Jacobs ladder) and even had ropes and a climbing rope. They had tons of free weights in two areas, the regular area and the "dungeon" as well as every machine you can think of. They have a great outdoor area with tires and ropes for cardio also. The atmosphere was great and everyone from the front desk manager to the other gym members were super friendly. It's a warehouse gym so there is no AC and you can really sweat it out. They say they are expanding also so I am looking forward to seeing what big things happen for them. Overall a great grunge gym in downtown that I will definitely be back to.

I was injured by their equipment which is mostly second hand horribly maintained throughout the facility. I made a verbal report to the owner through the front desk staff and I offered a solution. I returned to the gym a few days later and was frustrated when I nearly injured myself in the same manner due to the same faulty equipment. I immediately approached the owner who informed me that my her gym was protected from any liability because all customers signed a waiver and that I should be more careful! I informed her that the waiver would likely protect her from some liability but not from the gross negligence on the part of Befit gym due to the fact that MOST of the equipment is in poor repair and they are aware that they are putting patrons in safety risk! She argued me to the point that it became a hostile environment. He became Karen! She wouldn't even allow me to file an incident report. I had them cancel my membership. I am now moving forward with litigation. I do not recommend this gym to anyone . UPDATE: the gym doesn't appear to have any liability insurance or an incident reporting process. After I inquired about the two, the owner unbeknownst to me, made a criminal complaint to the police alleging some fictitious claim as an attempt to shield her business from liability in future litigation. Had one of those type officers arrived, I could be dead. Please do not patronize this business. It is not a safe environment for any of US!

I was suprised that this location had a matcha shop instead of an earth bar. Since I mapped it out beforehand, I knew where to park and how to get to the gym. This was a fairly large shopping area, but EQX was right there, and the desk is there in front once you enter. There was a really nice girl this day with long braids, and she directed me upstairs to the locker room and informed me that parking validation was not necessary at this time; the gate just went up as you pulled up to it. Perfect! After going upstairs, I did wander around and then a trainer directed me over to the locker room, which was spacious and very clean. The fitness floor is on the second, and as soon as I found the treadmills, I knew where I belonged. Light movement in the stretching area after, and then back to a shower with decent water pressure. What I was fascinated with was how friendly staff was. Trainers actually smiled and said goodbye which you won't normally see in California or New York. I certainly wasn't at home! Compared to other locations, this one was very low-key, although I admit I came during the afternoon where it was probably quieter. I had forgotten this is the location that I was in contact with back in 2020 when I had ordered some masks from their shop since they were actually open. I had such a good experience that the trip here to see them in person was worth it!

We joined after…read moreour son, a long-time member of the Life-Time Fitness Signature River North Club in Chicago urged us to check it out after another national chain where we worked out suddenly was unable to keep its swimming pools and locker/shower rooms operational (and clean) and the workout machines in repair. LTF had bought out the previous operator, City Club, and invested millions in renovating and updating the facility. We met at and continued, as a couple to gravitat to large health clubs in different cities where we worked and lived for over fifty years. During the tour, where we were shown the various centers for weight training, the outdoor swimming complex, yoga studios, Pilates studio, ballet barre, a full service cafe and a very impressive spa/salon, and recovery room, I commented, "Goodness, I could live here very happily." We both have been very pleased with our experience there and feel that it is well what we pay for our membership. We travel a lot and have visited LTF clubs in different cities and have been pleased by the consistency of the programs, facilities and maintenance of a clean and functional facilitiy. We are usually there, working at maintaining our heath, both mental and physical a minimum of five days each week. But, I am writing this hot mid-July Sunday in 2026, to give two thumbs up to the entire LTF staff and management for the annual extravaganza, Poolchella, that was held over most of two days on two successive weekends bracketing our nation's 250th 4th of July celebration. It is one of the regularly scheduled music and dance events offered across the year on weekend days or weekend evenings described as adult get-togethers. That part I guess, is true but incomplete. The club's bar had two or three men and women constantly assembling cocktails and other libations, sandwiches, plates and snacks which were delivered to the many people out on the expansive, pool deck that has a variety of green and flowering plants. A succession of DJ's laid down very nicely synched non-stop pop and rock music tracks. The music drew me outside where I completed over 20 one/fifth of a mile circumnavigations of the pools where I ambled along at about 4.2mph movin' 'n groovin' to the 125 bpm beat the male and female MCs were laying down for well over an hour. It was hotter than hell under the sun in H-Town. I didn't care. I hydrated and took breaks to assess my well-being before picking up the pace over and over again. The LTF club leadership, GM Randy Doty and Club Membership Concierge Desiree Cortez, also provided floaty toys and a bounce pit and a variety of other kiddie attractions to enable entire young families to have a great holiday memory. And, therein lies the reason why this particular "urban country club" is so popular. The club offerings--from traditional solo weigh lifting to yoga, dance, Tai-Chi, strength, Pilates, cycling, swimming and group fitness classes welcomes not only the traditional gym rats and a surprising number of former college and professional athletes. They also offer a rich mix of classes that are directed to people like ourselves (AKA Aroras) who have made it to age 55 and beyond and understand that muscles do not age out as long as they are regularly and responsibly exercised. We routinely take classes with men and women who are well into their 70's, 80's and 90's and are still at it. But, LTF also has a very impressive kiddie care facility, so mom's and dad's can take advantage of the Club's classes, very clean family changing, showering locker room, use the cafe or the assigned out-of-the-office work area and get a mani-pedi, massage, assisted stretching session or work out with one of the many personal trainers, confident that their babies and toddlers and little kids are kept busy, clean and safe. For my wife and me, the Greenway Club is a central part of our Houston retirement. We enjoy the tri-part goals of LTF Arora--"Healthy. Active. Social." Bravo Randy, Desiree and the terrific crews!!

Obviously the monthly fee isn't cheap but it usually comes with the territory if you sign back for membership. Working out or spending time here is more of a lifestyle and the amenities it has to offer. There's always trade-offs and membership cancellation in pretty much anywhere you go can be an issue or challenge, but I find all things this place has to offer out-weigh any potential downside. With all that said I think its worth the money to be a member here. And I particularly enjoy hanging out at the pool on those lazy days.

My car was recently broken into in the gym's parking garage sometime between approximately 1:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Although the garage has good lighting, there does not appear to be any meaningful monitoring or security presence during those hours. What is even more disappointing is the manager's apparent lack of interest in addressing the safety and overall condition of his own facility. Members should not have to worry about their vehicles being broken into while they are inside working out. Good lighting alone is not enough. The garage needs active camera monitoring, regular security patrols, and a clear response plan when incidents occur. The conditions inside the gym are also unacceptable. The locker room is regularly dirty and does not appear to be cleaned properly. I have seen pubic hair left on the floor, and the steam room is often unsanitary as well. Broken machines remain out of service instead of being repaired or replaced in a timely manner. There are also frequently homeless individuals sleeping inside the gym, which raises additional safety and sanitation concerns for paying members. The facility continues to deteriorate, and management does not appear interested in correcting the problems. A manager should take pride in the gym, listen to members, and ensure that the property is safe, clean, and properly maintained. Instead, these issues have been allowed to continue while members are still expected to pay full membership fees. I expect the break-in and the ongoing concerns about security, cleanliness, and maintenance to be taken seriously. Immediate improvements are needed before another member becomes a victim or someone is harmed.

Kinitro Fitness is by far and beyond one of the best training facilities you'll encounter. It's a hidden gem (gym hehe see what I did there), locally-founded and owned. I love the diversity and variety of regulars that come through― everyone is so friendly, says hello, and cheers you on. Kinitro has that perfect balance of chill and drive that you need to get you through your workouts. I loved that the classes are held in the open area, because it's motivating to see others doing their thing. And can we say, the details matter ― the music is always on point, the ladies room has hairbands in case you forgot yours, and the coaches remember your name. Big shoutout to Coach Mark, he creates beasts of a workout and he really cares about your form. Also the coaches have great taste in water bottles, you know all about that water bottle fashion these days. Everything is clean and the gym-goers all contribute to keeping a tidy environment. I love that the turf is easy on the joints. I can't wait to come through again to try the Pilates classes and more. Keep it going, Coach John! We see you keeping Houston Strong!!
