Mia wasn't available this time, but Jailene picked up right where she left off and carried the torch beautifully! What an amazing server! When you can laugh, smile, and crack jokes on both sides of the table--server and guests alike--it's no longer just dinner. It's a memorable evening! And the food? HOT! I'm talking STEAM coming off the plates! I ordered the blackened salmon with potatoes and broccoli. My wife enjoyed the shepherd's pie. And those cheese bollocks? WOW! Absolutely delicious! We keep telling ourselves we need to try other restaurants around Pointe Orlando, but somehow we just can't stop returning to The Pub! No diners nor servers in the section we were seated in. Table of four. I had to go to hostess after waiting 10 minutes to get a server. Other diners were then seated in our section. I had to go get the server to take our drink order. Had to ask for a menu. Server's name was Adrian, I think. He took our drink order, but didn't put it in to the bar. Instead, he took drink orders from everyone else in our section, then took food orders from them. So about 35 minutes after being seated, we got drinks and menus. I was told they were out of the Scotch I ordered, so I said cancel it. We figured we had better put our food orders in. So about 20 diners, who were seated much later than we were, had drinks, ate their entire dinners, and paid their checks by the time our food came. Read on to see how I know this. I kept asking the server how much longer, he kept putting me off. Said soon. Got the food, ate, got the bill. Server didn't remove the Scotch from my bill! Had him reverse it, paid and left. Had really looked forward to this place. I wanted to go in, have a Scotch, order dinner, maybe have a beer and appetizers, probably dessert, in like an hour. This took 2 hours. And many mistakes. I was fuming afterwards. Blood pressure through the roof. I should have walked back into the kitchen to find a manager. None were visible on the floor. Whoever trained young Adrian, ought to explain, serve in the order that people arrive, show them respect, reassure a diner who seems to be hungry or very thirsty, don't ignore some patrons,they are your customers, and may tip very well if you are at least decent to them. Oh, and how about having a manager swing by tables, to ask if everyone is alright? What ever happened to that? Oh, guess that happens at other restaurants. As much as I like the atmosphere, I can't go back, or recommend it to anyone. See, we all went as a group of 25 people, but broke up into small groups of 4. Our group had to stand around and wait for us to finish, and they all heard our story on the way home. We will choose other restaurants for the rest of our week here. No one at the PUB ORLANDO seems to care. If you are from out of town, maybe spend your Tourist dollars elsewhere, there are plenty of choices. And don't order a shot of Oban scotch, they are completely out of it. I guess it's unreasonable to expect a British pub to carry Scotch. Order water.

I arrived around 430 and waited till they opened at 5. There were several others as well, waiting for the doors to open. Our party of five found one of this tables at the end which is shaped like a large D letter, weird sitting but the only other better seats were outside and I am not breathing in exhaust fumes of Mills as we eat. There is a small sheet of paper with the food items, no prices listed and you need to open a tab at the bar to place your orders. You also need to get your drinks from the bar but they do serve you the tapas style food. It's all small items, three or four smallish items per plate and in varying prices, not listed anywhere but online on their site. I ordered the crab and corn croquetas ($9.5), crab rice ($11), mushrooms in soy sauce ($7), beef with chimichurri ($7.5) and a soda ($3.5). The crab and corn croquetas are a good sized portion, coming in three balls with a tender inside full of tasty corn pieces and crab. The sauce they come with also delivers on making them stand out. The crab rice was a good sized scoop and you could taste the freshness of it all, use the small slice of lemon to give it a tiny extra kick. The mushrooms in soy sauce were absolutely rocking on the taste buds with the umami really strong but so tasty. I ate half of the plate and brought the rest for snacking on tomorrow. Yay The beef with chimichurri was about 3 ounces worth of beef and sliced into four really small bites. A bit pricey for what you're given. My friend ordered the pork belly which was the same size and had a lovely taste to it. She also ordered the gyoza which came with five small pieces and those were tasty. The servers were super quick in bringing out the plates and due to the smallish sized table, it got overwhelming a bit quickly and we had to shuffle stuff around but since the meals are smallish, you do eat pretty quickly too. You have to be there early or else the seating is a roll of the dice, as soon as we began to leave, someone scooped in to grab the table. One poor guy was with his lady at the bar, she was seated but he didn't have one for him so he was standing beside her. The parking is shared with the other restaurant beside it and there are signs about paying parking... but I think that's only for certain hours?
