I went in for my scheduled consultation with Dr. Wali, after having the appointment for several weeks (4 weeks) and was excited to meet with a surgeon with a high reputation. I was communicating with Crysta Munoz, the cosmetic consultant, and she told me that I would have my consultation and procedure done on the same day. She also told me to send in photos of my face (for mole removal) so that a virtual consultation can be set up before the in-person consultation, and so I can receive an estimate of the cost. I didn't have a virtual consultation and didn't receive an estimate despite following her orders. On the day of my appointment, I got to the building, and I was taken to the patient room and waited for Dr. Wali. He then came in and asked what I would like to have done, even though I explained what I wanted to do to the consultant and in my patient portal, so it seemed like he didn't know what was up with my case. I then asked about laser mole removal and if he could remove my moles that way, but he quickly interjected and said he didn't remove moles through laser (even though that's CLEARLY advertised on his website) and said he would only do scalpel removal, which didn't make sense due to the small size of my moles and some of them being flat. I specifically went to see him because he said he did laser mole removal, but was very resistant to the whole idea of using a laser. His assistant came in the room as well, but wasn't helpful and I feel like I didn't have her support; she also didn't say bye to me, tell me where to leave my gown afterwards, or direct me where to go after my appointment, which was unhelpful. It seemed that Dr. Wali didn't want to remove my moles and told me to find another doctor who would do laser even though that's why I chose to meet him since it's advertised on his website that he does laser removal. The process was very rushed, and it felt like he was trying to leave quickly, which didn't make me feel welcomed or like I was worth his time. I was also told that I would have the consultation and removal done on the same day, but he just told me to make another appointment which would be in December, which was again, several weeks away (and a longer time period than my previous appointment). It's now mid-December, and it seems like they forgot about me since I never received an email confirming my procedure or got sent an estimate. The front desk workers were very helpful and kind so I wish I can leave a better review solely for them, but Dr. Wali and his assistant weren't welcoming and seemed like they had better things to do than to help me as both a patient and customer. If you want to wait weeks just to be told to make another appointment and not given an estimate but expected to leave a deposit, then this is the doctor for you. read more

I've had two procedures done by Dr. Wali. Both outcomes have been great. One was a breast aug and the other was fillers for my nose bridge. I would first like to say the girls in the office are amazing and so very kind. I had an extended tummy tuck about 3 months ago and I am in love with my results. I had went to another consultation with a different dr and the price was double of what Dr. Wali charged. When I compare results based on what I see online, Dr. Wali does a far better job in making people look natural. My belly button looks amazing. He also takes the time to explain everything. He did not recommend the lipo 360 like the previous consult I had went to, due to safety concerns with my bmi and he didn't think it was necessary. He was absolutely right! I received a stretched earlobe reconstruction quite a while ago. I told the doctor that I intended on restretching my ears after the scar tissue has healed. I had ripped my right lobe and as a result it became infected and the skin was thin. This is why I got my lobes done. I expected him to remove the damaged tissue, but he did not. He simply just shut the hole in my ear. Now when I restretched my lobe I noticed that it began to thin the previously damaged skin. The left ear was not cut symmetrical to the cut of my right ear and the remaining tissue thickness was not the same. I took photos of the lines before the ears were cut and they are different. $1300 wasted and now I need to save up to get the job done right. I don't know how many more times I can cut my lobes before I have no more left, so I had better make sure this next time gets the job done correctly. If the doctor reaches out to me to fix the unintended results, I will be happy to change my review. I have called many times but I was told the doctor won't talk to me unless I drive 1200 miles back to CA to get a consultation. Probably only to be told that it's been too long and my restretching of my lobes voids any touch ups, even though I had mentioned that before the cuts were made. Dr. Wali was reccomened to me by my regular doctor for a procedure that I wanted to fix my entire adult life. Its really difficult as a guy to seek cosmetic surgery for something. It wasn't for vanity that I wanted help but instead because I wanted to enjoy my life and the experiences in it without ALWASY wondering if people are noticing something I was extremely embarrassed about. I had a preventative double mastectomy due to having the BRCA-1 gene at the age of 34 (in 2016). I was given the run around by my insurance and several Dr.s they referred me to. The crazy and scary procedures that were described by other surgeons made me not want to reconstruct. When I finally got referred to Dr. Wali, everything changed. I was a mess at my first appointment and in tears. He was so calm and reassuring and described a surgery that didn't make me feel like a science experiment. I stopped by their office to get a cost estimate and possibly schedule an appointment to remove a small growth on my chin. The receptionist said they do all that from their website and I could send in a picture and they would get back to me. I took a picture and attached it to the web form and heard back a few days later. Suzanna said the image was a little blurry and too close to retake the picture a little further back. I sent the massage and retake on November 29th as requested and never heard back again. I resent the massage again on December 22nd but still nothing. Breast reconstruction after breast cancer - To be diagnosed with breast cancer at 39 is very devostating. When I met with Dr. Wali he took one look at me and he could already see the results before he even started. Losing your breasts so young is tragic but Dr. Wali never let me lose hope. I was sent to this Dr to have 2 cancerous moles surgically removed and Dr. Wali recommended cutting them out and then leaving them open to heal instead of stitching for a better end appearance. He showed me a previous patient he had done this with and results looked good. Needless to say both wounds healed horribly now looking like water blistered raised cigarette lighter burns. They are hideous. It's no fun being in a bikini and constantly questioned. "Omg what happened to your leg!"
