Dev Wali is a great doctor because of three things. First, he does great work. You can see it for yourself in pictures, but I can tell it's true through firsthand experience. He removed a mole for me in a prominent place where I thought there's no way this isn't going to leave a large scar. Not only was there not a large scar, there wasn't even a small scar. There was a microscopic dot that I have to really work to get people to see when I tell them about it. Yes, he is that good. Second, he is meticulous and will give you a thorough explanation of how the job is going to get done AND what all your options are. Again, in my case there were two ways to go about removing this particular mole and each had its pros and cons. He gave me all the info and allowed me to make an informed decision. And this leads into the third thing that makes him great...his bedside manner. He's just a cool dude. You will not feel condescended to. You will not feel like a specimen. And you will not feel like he's got better things to be doing and is doing you a favor by seeing you. You WILL feel respected and in good hands. I'm a real but very private person, especially about medical procedures - but I felt so strongly about my experience with Dr. Wali that I created a Yelp profile just to review him. I'm about 4 months post-op from a tummy tuck performed by Dr. Wali, and I can't recommend him highly enough. I've gotten a master's degree, built a thriving business and have cultivated a happy family - but the thing of which I'm proudest is beating a familial legacy of alcohol and food addiction. However, beating those addictions (and losing almost 60 pounds) left me with a body I didn't recognize, specifically in the tummy area - distended muscle and hanging loose skin. I consulted with a number of plastic surgeons - many of whom did try to sell me on looking a certain way. I felt like they were pumping out THEIR "signature" looks rather than assessing me as the patient. I was upsold, oversold, and offered procedures I didn't need. When I met with Dr. Wali, I knew he was different. There was a thoughtful but no-BS approach. He promised "improvement" and after listening to what I was looking for, told me exactly how he would approach it. He spoke in creative terms (as a painter himself, he knows about perspective, focal point, etc) and seemed genuinely thoughtful about my story, what had brought me to this decision, the hard work I had done. He overdelivered in every way possible. My recovery was actually quite comfortable despite my fears about pain (I did EXACTLY what he said) and the results are beyond what I thought they would be. I didn't do this so that I would appeal more to others. I did it for me. And I'm so glad I did. It's less that I have more confidence, it's just now the image I see in the mirror - and literally the way I feel in my body - matches the confidence that I have always had in my mind. I saved up $$$ for years to finally have my breast lift in Dec 2019. Covid hit 3 months later. It was extremely difficult to get an appointment for my 1 year follow up. After going back and forth with the office staff for months, trying to get an appointment I finally gave up. I never got my one year follow up appointment and I'm extremely disappointed with the outcome of my breast. They are completely off center. Left breast almost looks like it was never done. I feel like when you look at my breast you are looking at someone's face that has a lazy eye. Now, I need to have another surgeon correct Dr. Wali's botch job. Dr. Wali & Lynell are amazing!!! I had a mole on my face that Dermatologist were concerned about for years. They recommended that I have it removed and I avoided doing so for years being that it was on my face and I was afraid of scaring. I had found a plastic surgeon in Scottsdale Arizona who promised amazing results and instead he completely botched the removal, left excessive scarring on my face as well as the root of the mole without having ever sent it off for cancer testing. After that traumatic experience I did nothing out of fear. Ten years later at a routine dermatologist visit the doctor again voiced concern over this area on my face as being potentially cancerous and suggested that I get the mole completely removed and tested. After an exhaustive search and meeting with five different plastic surgeons I chose to go with Dr. Wali and I am so grateful that I did! Other plastic surgeons had suggested a very large incision to my left cheek that was extremely close to my eye area. There was an inherent risk with that approach being that simple facial expressions could pull the incision area which would widen the area and cause a much larger and unwanted scar and distraction on my face. Dr. Wali was different and suggested a unique approach but that I had to follow his protocol precisely. I agreed to move forward and I'm so glad that I did. The mole, scar tissue, and incision area is unnoticeable and I would highly recommend him if you're lookin for someone you can trust with a delicate mole removal and avoid excessive and unseemly scaring. After I completely healed, Lynell performed a Perfect Derma chemical peel and I LOVE the results. I'm planning on incorporating a visiting to her at least once a year for basic maintenance. The staff is amazing, helpful, and truly took the time to listen and care over the many calls and appointments that I had with the office and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! I came in for a chemical peel 2 weeks ago.. and my face still has not started to peel. Instead my face looks so dry and burnt. I insisted that I had received the peel before aNd she can be aggressive with the application. Instead of listening .. she did her own thing.. and was too cautious. It is funny that your so nervous about applying a peel.. seriously? Maybe you should be more worried about under application and correct application. In general, I just don't like to make a big fuss of things. So I tried calling the office to see if there is a solution for what had happened. The only thing is that I now cannot get a hoLd of them!! I just keep getting there answering service- even during business hours. What a scam!! I didn't pay 275 for my face to look worse than when I came in. Also, some advice.. If I could rate him zero Stars I would. I used heroin for pain that I have in my back before my surgery. The day of my surgery I was getting a breast lift with implants. I told the doctor that I had used and he literally kicked me out of the surgery room and told me not to ever come back I walked out the back door and they slammed it in my face and I was left standing in the alley of the surgical center , still with a IV halfway in my arm. They finally returned my money after 6 months and I asked him if he could do the surgery if I went to rehab he said no he wants nothing to do with me probably the most humiliating experience I've ever had in my life sorry that I'm a drug addict it's a disease I shouldn't be punished for it and it wasn't harming him or anybody else around me so why did he take it upon himself to judge me so harshly read more

I don't even know how to start this review. At a young age, I had some challenges that no middle school age child shall ever endure. As an adult, since the issue kept reoccurring and tons of pain. I did countless hours of research for a plastic surgeon that works with insurance. (At this time I don't think he's taking any insurance so don't yell at me or the office off of this post). After changing my insurance over 4 times to try to find someone, finally I did. Dr Wali exceeded my expectations. At the end of the day I had a reduction and lift. I had low expectations, I wanted just my body back. I didn't want to hurt mentally or physically. I wanted to feel normal. Dr wali didn't know anything about my feelings of how emotionally huge this was for me until my 2nd post op appt. All along he treated me as if he knew and literally was everything I'd look for in a doctor. This was a year long process, 2 surgeries later and I've never EVER have felt this confidence. The office staff, especially Diana is just so kind. And really try to manage everyone so equally and with a human nature approach. I feel like that's rare these days. I'm currently 3 weeks post op and never been happier. Have patience with the staff, I want to remind you that #1 the office is BUSY and #2 the staff is human and also has a life outside of it. My wife had breast augmentation by Dr Wali and this guy promised this and that and to give it time. My wife gave the time and the results are terrible scheduled an appointment with Dr Wali and he all of a sudden couldn't remember what he said that he would have to look at before and after pictures and said would see what he could do to correct the situation well almost a week later and guess what no call from Dr. I placed a call and the office young lady Tanya still with more excuses who is this again. I asked for the office manager and she answered we don't have an office manager assigned. Ladies stay real far from this guy. Dr. Wali saved my life. Long story short. I had sepsis and a staph infection on and off for 9 months. This was a complication from a prior surgery with another PS he took my case to assist me.
