The other gentleman in the store this morning greeted me as well, even though he was busy working on something, and was not the attendant helping me with my purchase. Since then i have had nothing but issues with it dying on me and needing to get a jump from someone. I spoke with a the warranty department and they said there would be no problem REPLACING it. I dont want a recharge again as i have had nothing but problems. There is many other auto parts stores in my area and this experience will make it much easier to go to the other stores. Manager was unprofessional and rude about the situation.

I took the car to a mechanic and because the throttle body appeared to be new, they did not realize IT was the problem and replaced accelerator pedal which could not clear the error codes. Finally realizing it was the new throttle body that was causing the problem they replaced it. So after all the trouble shooting time and new parts I spent $1000. Now I call the store and ask if I can return it for refund and they said OK. So I get to the store and they said NO, it has to be in THE BOX, which I threw away days ago. After dumpster diving at my club and at Chuck's garage I finally found A BOX and returned to the store with the new JUNK throttle body that never worked. So I spent $1000 on a project that should have cost only $161.64. I WILL NOT EVER BUY A DAMN THING FROM O'REILLY AUTO PARTS EVER AGAIN AND I'LL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT MY BAD EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!! The only problem is these so called "mechanics" that work in the place tell you they have the part you're looking, but when you get there they don't and you don't find that out until after you've paid an entrance fee into the yard. And it sucks even more if you had to drive several hours from another state just to get there to get ripped off =/ But it's a junk yard so I guess even the inventory system is a piece of junk Moral of the yelp: don't go to junk yards that are two, three states over just to waste your time and money. but for instate residents it's definitely worth a shot for the small fee

Bottom line: They get 5 stars on the basis of pure honest work…read more I brought my car in many months ago for an oil change, and my vehicle mfr's recommendation is 10k miles or 1 year, whichever comes first for changes. I also have an oil life indicator to tell me how things are going inside the engine, so I opted for high quality oil instead of whatever comes with oil changes at your usual in-and-out oil change service at any location. I purchased Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and filter, and asked if they would do it. They did, and it made my oil change a little bit cheaper. However, I was a little uneasy thinking that there's no way for me to know for sure that such oil and filter actually did make it into my car unless I did my own work. Someone in the shop could just take it for themself. But fast forward to last night, I was doing my own oil change for the first time, and I beheld a Mobil 1 oil filter. I was very happy to see that they did the right thing and followed through even when there was no one watching over them to check their work. I'm trying out Royal Purple in this rotation to see how performance is in comparison, but thank you to the honest people at this shop for being trustworthy.

When we got there, they casually mentioned the repairman called out. Considering our brakes were at 2% functionality, that was a long and honestly dangerous drive that could have been avoided with a 30-second phone call. Since they didn't seem to want the business, we took our $3k+ service down the street to Firestone. How you flop on such a big sale? Definitely won't be back.
