Second attempt was met with the same outcome. The pasta was not homemade, but store bought. The meat sauce had kind of a different, heavy taste to it, one I can't quite describe. While it was acceptable, hardly amongst the better I've sampled. The restaurant at 6:30pm remained empty. They didn't know what crushed red peppers are upon requesting such. My credulity is stretched as if you don't know what these are yet claim to serve pasta as they do(?), something is wrong in Denmark (pun intended). This is a tourist oriented restaurant and just isn't worthy of the high star level its reviews reflect. Overall an unpleasant experience.

I opted for the courgette, which was extremely cheesy, but came with par cooked vegetables had little real taste. We also picked the capriosa, which came with very cheap ham (we had to remove), and a watery tomato sauce. The only saving grace albeit staff, was the complimentary brusetta, it was pretty tasty, but not a good indication of the rest of the meal we ordered. It's very thin crust. We ordered the Mark & Rita which is a play on words for Margherita pizza. We had the sourdough bread with buttermilk butter which was tasty. Olives were a nice start. Ordered the food with "Le Orme" glass of red which was nice and crisp and complemented the food. The servers Sean and Victor were attentive. The place has a very cozy feel to it. I'm just so surprised that so many restaurants are closed this early on weekdays.
