Delicious! I had the pizza and some appetizers. Highly recommend! Not sure why it has to make me type so many words to leave this review. Anyways, I recommend!!

Google Maps and Yelp led us to a tiny Italian shop near our hotel in central Copenhagen. With a long wait, full restaurant and a sign that claims to have the best pizza in Copenhagen, we thought we struck gold. We were wrong. First of all, it took about twenty minutes for the staff to acknowledge us despite having a reservation. Finally we were taken to our table, but neglect became the night's theme. Thirty minutes until our server came and around 30-45 minutes to get our food, get our check, etc. A simple dinner took almost three hours! Secondly, the food was just okay. My friend ordered the ragu and I the calzone, which is massive. Both dishes came with steep price tags so expected next-level food. Nope. Both dishes were mediocre. The space is quintessential Italian, but keep in mind there are no outdoor tables during the winter. For being a foodie city, I'd skip this place and go to Brace up the road.

We arrived at 9 on a Friday night & we saw a short line of people waiting for a table. We checked in thinking it would be a long wait but surprisingly after 5 minutes we were seated given there was only 2 of us. It was busy and the layout was one of taking a home and turning it into a restaurant. It was cozy with multiple levels and spaces. A maze of areas with a cool vibe. The aroma of the food cooking/baking flowing throughout took the atmosphere to another level. Our waiter came out to take our drink orders right away. When you find out the owner is from Sardinia you have high expectations. For starter, we shared the Vitello Tonnato. My first time trying this dish and it was exquisite. The tuna sauce complimented the thin slices of veal perfectly. We were both thinking how can it get better than this? Maybe we should just leave now! We decided to split a pizza and pasta. When our server found out he offered to split the pasta dish for us. What?! We settled on the Frutti di Mare. Fresh seafood & just the right amount of sauce (not soupy). For pizza, it was Salame e Peperoni. The crust was so light, almost paper thin with the right cheese/sauce ratio and had a hint of spice from the peppers-perfect pie! Good we didn't leave after our appetizer. Our server was excellent! & those high expectations were more than surpassed!

Take a trip off the beaten path. This great place is in the heart of Copenhagen but off the beaten path of tourists. It is a small charming restaurant with a welcoming, comfortable and intimate atmosphere The food is fantastic. I can only speak for the pizza but checking out the other tables, I have to say that is all looked amazing. But a word of caution, the portions are huge. Even bigger than normal American portions. So, bring a friend or two -- and share. Dinner is best with company, anyway.

Wow. Best pasta anywhere, better than Italy! So thin and perfect... I will dream of this pasta forever. A real find in Copenhagen... this place is a treasure!!!

Excellent! We were five people and they sat us at a cozy table of five, round table on our own floor. We loved the atmosphere and the setting. Our waiter was terrific. Service here is non pressure. Take your time and enjoy. We started with a bottle of the house wine. It was recommended by the waiter. Fantastic and reasonably priced. (white wine) Then for dinner we ordered a bunch of things and shared them. The pasta is so light. We had a spaghetti dish with calm. The calazone is huge amazing. The pizza is over sized. My personal favorite was the lasagna. Probably the best I have ever had ever Coffee after the meal also terrific Plus, we didn't have a reservation. They took us anyway. We really enjoyed place and our service and the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This restaurant feels like someone's two-story home. Really cute and special atmosphere, particularly the spots that are hidden in the back and in the rooms upstairs. The service was friendly and quick, nothing to complain about. We were a large group and for the most part, all the food showed up at the same time so we weren't left waiting at any point for very long. The food is great. I really recommend the vitello tonnato for an appetizer. So good we scraped the plate clean of the tuna-mayo sauce. I would probably enjoy just that tuna sauce alone, without the veal underneath. The pizzas are also very good, with a crispy yet chewy thin crust. Yum. Le Quattro Stagioni is a good bet for those that like everything on their pizza (ham, artichoke, mushrooms, anchovies). Some of their pizzas come with fresh tomatos rather than tomato sauce. I don't like these very much since the cheese becomes the overwhelming flavour and its a bit bland without the acidity from the tomato sauce. But at least they have an option. Really nice food, ambiance, and service.

When I saw how packed it was I knew it must live up to the hype but I was super disappointed with the experience. I was sat and served bread and upon my 3rd bite of bread I noticed it super tasted like perfume or soap. Hmmmm that's odd I tried another piece and the same thing, I spit it out. In that moment I lost trust, before my main dish even arrived. When the carbonara did arrive , to my extreme disappointment it literally had no flavor what so ever. Not one seasoning was added to this dish. I only ate about 3 bites and asked for the check. The server asked if i wanted something else but at this point i just wanted to go home. They charged me in full. I walked home in disappointment on my last night in this beautiful city filled with great food. The end.

When we arrived early there were quite a few open seats and staff had no problem seating us. We could've sat outdoors and listened to a guitarist but opted for inside. The decor was rustic and almost every inch of the wall was covered with something. Even the ceilings were painted. Service was quite good. Attentive and fast. Our section of the restaurant was quiet. However, I felt a little sorry for one server as the couple behind us kept complaining through most of their meal and eventually had to moved due to sounds they kept hearing through the wall. We didn't hear anything. Bread service was included and each slice was soft and helped us finish off the remaining bit of sauces from our pasta. My salmon pasta was quite generous with the amount of salmon chunks. The sauce was distinct creamy tomato and mixed well with the al dente pasta. My SO's mushroom tagliatelle had a nice mix of mushrooms and rich flavor. Dinner was quite filling and we couldn't fit in dessert. Would come back again should we be back in Copenhagen.

Did a late-ish dinner on a Sunday, with a reservation and as a solo diner, they seated me at the bar. Service was friendly, but also felt like they were kind of rushing me through everything, when I wanted a casual, leisurely meal. I wanted some advice on what to order (I knew I wanted the spaghetti with butter and caviar but not sure what else) and I felt a bit pressured to order more than what I was really hungry for/wanted. Spoiler alert: it was, in fact, far too much food. Highlights: The sourdough foccacia with whipped ricotta and honey is as very tasty and very filling. The spaghetti/caviar dish generally lived up to the hype, but was a bit heavy for me. The portion sizes here, generally are pretty decently sized, and make sense for sharing with another person. The Low Points: Rushed, service overall. I felt pressured to order very quickly. Food came very quickly. Drinks were almost a little slow, despite sitting at the bar. The pacing was just off overall. Too much food - should have ordered less (that's on me), but also I felt pressured to order things I wasn't sure I really wanted. The halibut crudo was okay - good flavor but just seemed heavy-handed on the cuts and textures. The monkfish + fusilloni is one of five least-liked dishes of 2025, very close to the top. The monkfish was so overcooked and chewy it was inedible altogether and the whole dish just felt very bland. At the end of the meal they tacked on an automatic service charge, which I'd never seen before in Copenhagen (maybe this is becoming more common, but I didn't see this at any of the restaurants of my trip.) Overall, pretty underwhelming meal and I'd be hesitant to go back. The price vs quality of the food + experience just didn't deliver for me. I liked the spaghetti butter caviar dish but also felt like I could make something like that at home. If you're trying to prioritize where to eat in Copenhagen and only have a few meals to choose from, this is skippable to me.

Cantina is an Italian restaurant located in central Copenhagen's Indre By district that serves a variety of dishes, including wood-fired pizzas and pasta. The pizza variety is great: salami picante with honey and mozzarella, white with ricotta and mozzarella and the classic Margherita. Their cocktails have great options too, from Elderflower, Aperol Spritz to Gin and Tonic. The pasta selections offer linguini with vongole, Spaghetti, Ravioli. I wanted a Danish beer to start thus ordered the Snub Juice IPA; citrus all the way. It knocked my socks off. I savored every sip! I opted for the Margherita Pizza which offers a generous "personal pizza " size. Their pizza tasted delicious, we are talking Brooklyn-Copenhagen style! It is not to be missed! I loved the charred crust, the mozzarella was gooey and yummy with nice pieces of basil. Lastly, the sauce was light not overwhelming. Every bite was a knockout! For dessert I opted for the Caramel Gelato; one scoop of heaven in a glass ( see pics). It was a nice way of topping off the meal. Fredericka, my waitress was great; super accommodating, personable and professional. The vibe here is my vibe: combo of low key/ chilling/ crack open the champagne and eat and be merry!
